Anyone who played Goldeneye 007 back on the N64 will no doubt remember the countless weapons and traps included in its multiplayer mode.
ComradeQuiche of Thingiverse has combined his fond memories and technical know-how to create a replica of the remote mine using a 3D printer and has posted the model for all to use.
The intricately detailed prop has LED lights that flash when the centre button is pressed - you can see it in action in the video below. Now all we need is a wrist watch to go with it and we're sorted.
Is this a project you'd enjoy working on? Let us know in the comments.

Nice! Now if only it really worked! KA-BOOM!
@Five-seveN just put gunpowder and a detonator! this will be the new security system in my house! mwahahahahaha!!!!!!!
@GustavoSF Might not do as much damage as the real thing, but it would SURE scare some burglars!
@Five-seveN that's the idea!!
@GustavoSF Yeah they'd break into your house and then they'd run into a 2 foot long stack of them sticking off the wall!
@Five-seveN think it would scare airport security staff as well !
@Mk_II It would scare anyone!
It's all about the proximity mines! Now THAT'S a home security system!....... Oh wait... How do I leave?
@chewytapeworm Could always shoot them, provided you aren't too close.
@chewytapeworm Or have a remote deactivation/activation system... just remember to loan one to the dogsitter.
Now we need the rest of the melee items and then we can do smash bros in real life!
