@LDXD You and I and most sensible people actually see that WiiU brings more to gaming than either the Xbone or Ps4.
I got fed up of of partly MS direction they are going in, amd paying for Online and went to Ps3. The games felt no different, it was more like changing your tv to a different brand, apart from the odd feature everything felt and worked excactly the same and shown excactly the same programming. A year later ended up getting WiiU, and finally It felt that I had brought something new, and not simply switched brands.
I'm racking up 40+ hours a week on WiiU, Sometimes 50+, up from less than 10hrs per week on Ps3 purly as the games, even NSMBU feel fresher. Maybe its because I've been away from Nintendo for a decade so the games feel fresher to me, but considering playing on 360 & Ps3 games felt the same, on both systems but then Getting WiiU and finding games feel new and fresh again shows that Nintendo have some magic ingredient they add to games that others don't.
I shames me to think I'm a fanboy of WiiU, and I try not to be, it was easy with Xbox and Sony, but Sometimes I read back comments I've posted about WiiU and I see my post actually sounding Fanboyish. But in my defence I think that its down to the Sony, Xbox systems don't truely have anything that when written about sound really cool, but when you start saying how WiiU can do a lot of things the other systems can't (at least out of the box) it automatically makes a post sound fanboyish.
Its good more publishers are being vocal in thier faith in WiiU and Nintendo. I just hope that these publishers support is rewarded by WiiU owners by buying thier games. Nintendo need its userbase to back them up in thier plans to bring 3rd party devs to WiiU and 3rd party devs need to shown WiiU owners will indeed buy thier games. I have and will maintain buying any good 3rd party games before a 1st party release simply as Nintendo are not going to stop making WiiU games regardless of sales like 3rd party publishers Will, besides Nintendo don't look at immediate sales figures, they look at the long-term attach rate for thier games as often reflected by thier comments and press releases.

@LDXD Not to mention price of ps4 games, here in UK games prices for pre-order are not listed or to be confirmed.. rumours are an extra £10 per game over ps3 games. (unless there's been an official Game price announcment the past couple of days)
I know this as my cousin pre-order his ps4 , and phoned about game prices so he could work out what games he could afford to buy at launch and was told they were estimating between between £50 and £70 depending on the game and hoped to have confirmation in the near future.

@banacheck You do realise MOST of those games are small throw-away games availablev as cheap psn download titles, and generic seen-it-before shooters with shinier graphics. Reggie, Agressively advertise the WiiU to have No Drm restrictions, Free Online Multi-Player and as the best home console for on-couch multiplayer games. Also show how Off-screen play 'out-of-the-box' without adition hardware required to be purchased, benifits those gamers often restricted when they can game based on when they can get use of the television, and how the second screen brings new gaming ideas and convenience.
Bundle the WiiU with Mario either the 3D world or NMSBU Aswell as Nintendo Land and include 4 Wiimotes and keep the Current price point.
This package would be attractive to most familys as it would include 2 games ready for on-couch multiplayer, and with advertising the points listed at the start it would temp those current Ps3/360 owners who are agains the DRM restrictions and having to pay a extra amount to be able to play games online to WiiU.
Also make a point to advertise the Nintendo Premium reward scheme on eStore purchases, as getting money back for doing something you naturally do with a system, 'by games' is attractive to consumers anyway, hense why so many retailer have been doing reward schemes for so many years.
A price cut would lead to Nintendo seemingly beind 'desperate' and would only fuel the anti-wiiu headlines sprawled over the internet. So No WiiU doesn't need a price cut, nor will Nintendo cut the systems price. What will probably happen is in a few months time New bundle packages will appear which while keeping the same price point will offer purchases more for thier money.
The initial E3 Nintendo Direct was dissapinting, but the developer directs, E3 MiiVerse and general WiiU e3 news that filtered through as the week went on countered initial disappointment. It was good to see so many people playing and enjoying Nintendo's games at e3, and hearing a via forums or Miiverse Bestbuy Nintendo event games were enjoyed greatly by most people. It was always going to be a lower impact E3, even if Nintendo had done a live show, Games going up against hardware announcments never have the same impact. Next year its going to be all about the games, thats when I'm sure Nintendo will really shine, unless your only into annually repeated generic shooters.
@Bengals76 not actually a fully true comment, there have been games released through the year, albiet the first half of the year was a bit slow and 1st party games have been massivley lacking. Wario & Watch onwards through the remaining months of the year will see a lot of titles released on WiiU.
Wireless headset? you've got one.. it called a wired headset plugged into the gamepad. Most games allow voice chat and game sound to be output via the gamepad with a headset connected even while using a pro controller to play the game and the tv to veiw the game. Some games automatically adjust others you manually change the settings.
There are online games and a few co-op games, but it does seem a bit of a missed oportunity by nintendo not including it some of thier titles, actually the only accurate point you made.
Nintendo have had this business attitude of making the hardware to fit the game ideas they have & not releasing games untill they feel its ready, rather than ensuring a game is released by a set date regardless of bugs or flaws since they entered the gaming industry. Sincd ther are longest operating console manufacturer/Publisher/Developer it shows thier business attitude works.
Who'd of thought a gaming company who put gameplay and gamers gaming experiences first, Rather than putting how to turn over the most profit in the least amount of time with the least amount of effort first, would of lasted so long.
Not to mention Nintendo is the only console manufacture to make profit over the past few years.
Luigi DLC is good value, less than £20, I was expecting it cost £30 due it essentially a game in itself albeit using NSMBU world map, and obviously assets to build the new levels. Maybe it's because I'me so used to dlc being high priced for what you actually get on ps3.
Xb1, everyone is clear as to the many reasons its failing even before launch. Ps4 will sell well, no doubt but with No direct BC and the change to a forced on line subscription many ps3 owners are very unhappy, and saying they don't want to pay to play online and won't go to ps4.
MS & Sony both are saying they will be supporting the 360 & ps3 for many years to come and both are telling people if you don't like how the new systems are going to operate stick with the 360/Ps3 system.
Yeh I can see People owning 2 systems, but doubt it will be to the scale of last gen.
360/Ps3, are going to maintain a very high userbase for many years, much longer than in previous console generations and as a result WiiU will more likely to be sitting next to more ps3 systems than ps4's.
This next generation of systems success has nothing to do with specs, graphic quality, or even price of the system, in reality its about the services and restrictions a system offers and at what cost, both financially and otherwise.
WiiU will do fine, Sales will improve, more 3rd party publishers will put games on WiiU again, and analysts will be arguing why none of the new systems have achieved the levels of success of thier older counter parts.
I'm not rushing to get a ps4 as I hope as next year goeson more abd more 3rd support will find it's way to WiiU. But there's noting wrong with owning more than one console so don't see what prat-cher is trying to do, other than make another anti WiiU press statement
There's been a few statements like this since Xbones drm announcment by microsoft. This is EA trying yo dig themselves out of the hole they put themselves in by choosing not to support WiiU.
EA chose to not support WiiU before the Start of the year, the WiU sales were at a excellent rate prior to January and if they had based thier reasons for not supporting WiiU on sales then they would of had a few other projects already in development for WiiU beyond NFS.
Fact of the matter is they like the Xbones DRM restrictions, either they assumed or was led to believe ps4 would have followed suit so opted to back out of the system which was more consumer friendly, The WiiU.
Now its turned out Xbone is the only system with the anti-consumer drm rights which is hated by all but the hardened Xbox fanboys EA know that in al likely hood WiiU will out perform Xbone and they need a believable reason as to thier up-coming u-turn on thier publishing on WiiU stance.
@Adam Pikman 3 is designed to be played with WiiMote for optimal control but using the gamepad at the same time for the map, being able to keep an eye on and switch between the 3 characters.
Dumb articale, Nintendo design hardware around plans they have in regards of games.
No doubt Pikman3 and maybe ZeldaU are the reason the gamepad excists for WiiU.
Nintendo and others are finding uses for the gamepad, wether it be simply off-screen play or inventary managment or actually part of single player gameplay like In ZombiU and Up-coming Watchdogs as well as unique multiplayer games that wouldn't be possible without the screen in titles like Nintendo Land, Wario &Watch & WiiU Party, and adding a 2nd screen to traditionaly split screen split screen gaming in Sonic Racing and Blops.
Nintendo and other have a lot more knowledge in how to use the gamepad to enhance the gaming experience than the Time Writter of the article does in knowing how to write a good story.
If having DLC doesn't mean Zelda will be edited down to accomodate the dlc strategy as Every game almost is on other platforms, then fine. It would be great to have the usual Zelda experience then a year down the line get another story line intergrated into the original release, with new dungeons, bosses and puzzles and items.
Sort of like Nintendo are doing with NSMBU with the Luigi dlc.
Maybe it they could do a yearly package for a few years, saves on the costs of producing a whole new game yet offering Zelda fans a new Zelda story line to experience every year.
It seems quite a common thing with Nintendo fans, as reflected by NL staff comments, that When we first saw the Nintendo Direct everyone felt a bit let down by Nintendo. But its Common that as the week has gone on and extra bits of info has surfaced via Developer Directs, Miiverse and the media that on the whole Nintendo fans have become more and more excited about the ganes that are coming soon. No doubt a proper 3D Mario game, and Metroid, possibly Starfox will show up at some point on WiiU, and its a shame at least one of these didn't get announce but these are something we Nintendo fans have to look forward to in the future. You never know there may be more suprises over the next month or two, Nintendo like to drop one in now and again during the regular Nintendo Directs.
Its 30 pence/cents... its not the greatest game, but it does what its ment to well enough, no better or worse than a lot of these tile-match puzzle game made today for mobile devices. 5 is a bit harsh, Game Mode B with speed set to fast is quite tricky as you go through the levels.
Hence why a lot of Xbox & Playstation fans, As well as industry insiders want Nintendo to go Multiplatform. Nobody makes games like Nintendo, Sega were the closest in thier hayday, but even now Sega lag behind in a lot of cases, cause & effect of being tied to others hardware most likely. Also a reason all those Nintendo are doomed articles steming from various sources are more Wishfull thinking put in print, than factual news.
@LDXD and want to keep the game after completion, so you can go back to it and enjoy the game again. Oh wait Usually... that is Nintendo published games.
If your system is stolen and you supply a crime number, account details, and a new system to Nintendo they will transfer purchases to the new system.. this does not apply to lost systems according to email I've saved from uk support when I asked specifically what I needed to do to retain my purchases should my system break or get stolen.
By sending faulty Systems to Nintendo if the system can't be repaired then they will transfer purchases to a new system. If not in waranty then a new system would need to be paid for. Verified in that sane email.
Games can be re-downoaded if purchased prior to removal from eStore, but you need to find the game via your purchase history, not directly the store front... again verfied by Nintendo UK in the saved email
This may be different depending on region, some of it may be down to consumer law.
I've also saved that email, in case of any issues and I need to draw upon it.
Price cut would do moredamage than good to Nintendo, but with Sony price point set to undercut microsoft and make WiiU seem more expensive Nintendo have to do something.
It suprised everyone that Sony set the price so low, but actually makes sense considering the looses they have had for years now they need Ps4 to be in profit. Sound stupid as they are making massive losses on Ps4 at that price but woth pay to play online on Ps4, thats how they hope to recoup losses, coupled with Selling a load of systems.
What Can Nintendo Do, best bet would be a Bundle, 4 wimotes, Sensor Bar, Game Pad, NSMBU and Mario 3D World, 32gb WiiU Call it Mario Complete Bundle &Market it as a complete on-couch multiplayer package for the family.
They could do other bundles to try and cater for the different demographics

@GiftedGimp lol probably but if that's the case I have news for him or anyone for that matter I've owned every major console from nes on up and the xbox1 will be the first time I miss out on owning to me it's just drm junk, plus I dont wanna run around my house screaming xbox on! xbox off!
The Xbox Off thing is so true, It never recognised my localised british accent when I (briefly) owned the Kinect when I had 360... felt a right fool repeating myself several time before saying oh F*** off and getting up to turn the system of or reaching for the controller for the system to turn itself off. lol
Could only vote for 1, X visually, But also Bayonetta and once I watched the developer directs Mario Kart and Mario World. Watchdogs is there in my most impressed list based on trailers.
@LDXD I got WiiU because I was losing interest in gaming due to the same-thing again feeling I started having on Ps3. WiiU rejuvinated my interest again massivley since January when I got WiiU, I'm averaging 40+ hrs a week on WiiU it was about 10 towards the end on ps3. As I say may get ps4, but hope 3rd party support improves so I don't have to. Xbone is a No Go for definate though. Microsoft got really complacent having 360 as popular as it is and now screwed themselves over. At least it should help WiiU's (mis)fortunes out. Btw, Do you get that sinking feeling when you get stuck, or have a tricky time with a bit of a game only to watch your nephew do it first time? I know I do when my Son does that to me. ;( oh to have decent reaction speed again. lol
@LDXD.. yeah me too... 7yrs old Atari2600 in 1982, and owning most, not all, systems since. Choice of system always based on what appealed to me, not manufacture. The only thing thats not keeping me WiiU only this next gen is lack of 3rd party support. I'm giving Nintendo a year to turn it around (will help if more wiiu users buy 3rd party games) if they can't then I'll get Ps4 for any 3rd party titles not on WiiU. WiiU will be mine, (and the families) main system though this next gen.
@LDXD tbh Looking at @Banancheck posts he's a sony fanboy, its questionable if he actually owns a WiiU tbh.
I think he thinks most of us here haven't or don't own any other platforms, and/or know nothing about Xbone/Ps4.
News flash banana.. My last recent consoles.... in order Ps2-Xbox-360-Ps3-WiiU.. I and others here know when your talking from the wrong end... (although Everyones entitled to an opinion)
If he's not a Sony Fanboy.. Banana certainly puts himself across as one.
@Lasermaster123 Here, Here!! As much as I enjoy the latest Shooter, or other so called 'core' game I love to play Mario, Donkey Kong, And so called 'Kiddie' game.. I'm 38 A core gamer isn't someone stuck on endless shooter games and the like. A Core gamer is someone who plays all types of games. If anything Nintendo users are more the Core gamer than anyone else, as they are usually willing to play all types of games from cutsey platformers to hardcore shooters. (Yes there is the small percentage of Sony/MS fans that enjoy all types of games, same as a percentage of Nintendo who only want to play shooters)
@ToneDeath never know, From our game nights 7 extra WiiU's have been sold for Nintendo. Apart from 1 freind who is Hardcore PC gamer my other freinds yet to get WiiU are planning or considering getting one.
A good fun experience on the system can do wonders even to the most skeptic... Almost all my freinds first comment when they new I got WiiU was Why you got one of them, they're supposed to be doggie-do-do-dingleberry... are something along those lines.
Besides 5 player mario chase is hilarious, more so when you've had a skin-full.
@banacheck err no in all my time with 360 and ps3, less than 25% of all games i owned had proper offline multiplayer modes, even a majority of Shooter and racer, especially in the latter years ditched split screen. It got to the point people were/are complaining massively about lack of split screen options on games.
Not all games were like that some had local multiplayer, but a majorty skipped the option.
Local multiplayer is hugley more common on WiiU.
One major plus for WiiU, Sony & Ms are so deep into the online gaming culture that few games actual support local multiplayer. WiiU has a more balanced system with both online and local multiplayer common on the system. Not every gamer is a lonley teenager stuck in thier bedroom with no real world freinds to play games with side by side. I love playing multiplayer on WiiU with my wife & kids, and every so often we have game nights with freinds, usually involving lots of alcohol and pizza and lots of laughs on NSMBU, Nintendo Land and the like. Thats not to say I don't play online & enjoy the 'hardcore'games, but with a clever marketing campaign this alone would attract a lot of new users.
I'm not a fan of Free-to-play, most of the time f2p games work out to be over expensive rip-offs if you really want to make any progress in them, as proven by the hundreds of f2p games on mobile devices. Mobile devices get away with it because for the most part people play for a short time and don't mind restrictions in place when you don't spend any/much money on them. The Console market is different and gamers tend to want to progress through games without monetary restriction in place. I do wonder if Nintendo could get the right balance though, Namco's TankTankTank is a good example in that you buy the paerts you want yet allows you, in a extremely limited way to play for free. At the moment i'm more curious than anything else.
@MrCharles77 Yeah I see it all the time Mr X will in one breath complain about lack of 3rd party support and in the next say I'm only buying 1st Party on WiiU. Not all publishers have the excuse as they simply wont dip thier toes on WiiU but the Likes of Warnerbros, and Ubisoft both are showing WiiU support but in return not getting much support in return by WiiU owners buying thier games, and for the most part the games they have released between them have been very good. Fact of matter is, Support 3rd party games and 3rd parties will support WiiU, I try (in vain) to do my bit. Buy 3rd party games, if the releases clash with 1st party then buy the 3rd party game first knowing Nintendo arn't going to not release games, I just wish more WiiU owners would do the same. I may get a ps4 at the end of next year but only if 3rd party support is lacking on WiiU still and even then If a 3rd party releases on WiiU and Ps4, I'll buy the WiiU version.
Scaling Back, does not mean abandon. So I'm going to wait and see what this will actually mean. I'm Happy with WiiU, and I expect 3rd party support to be much stronger by the end of next year. If it isn't then I'll get ps4, maybe, just for the 3rd party titles not on WiiU.
An excisting ip already has a following and generally easier to sell to people. Thats why we get CoD, and other games every year.
Difference being 99% of the time Nintendo will take an excisting tweak it, implement new ideas, even take an ip in a slightly different direction at times and make it substantially different from previous itterations.
If/When Nintendo comes up with new gameplay ideas that won't fit excisting ips then they do/will create new ip's.
Still expecting more announcments either during e3 or over the next couple of months, one being a small price cut considering the low price point of ps4. Nintendo need to get ruthless and make the most of Xbones overall negative reception, Like Sony have.
WiiU will still be definitive version, Having the best visuals alongside the PC version but with Added Gamepad functionality.
So it's not exclusive, Not many 3rd party published games are exclusive to a single platform. Regardless of what that platform is.
If you havent already watch the developer interview on estore or youtube.. all the features are there... unless they still keeping something a secret. It actualy makes a lot of sense as to why they went this route considering the features they've included. Mixing it up with features found in previous mario games including the NSMBU-like touch screen features.
@hwrose379 Beat me to it.. @Peach64 get on Nintendo's Youtube channel, watch the dev interviews and you and many others will feel a lot more positive than if you purly rely on Nintendo Direct and trailers... neither show the games ideas, aims or features properly by comparison.
After Nintendo Direct I was mostly dissapointed tbh, however watch this and the other developer interviews has got me all psyched up tbh.
Yes its a shame some games were not announced, but no matter what was/wasn't announced some people will not be pleased... besides theres still time for a suprise or two (fingers crossed)
Still a some games not out this year, but still plenty of good games due this year and even a few from 3rd party devs.
Seriously watch the dev interviews, you get a much clearer picture of the games aims and features which were not mentioned in Nintendo Direct.

Re: Waiting For Wii U To Drop In Price? Not Going To Happen, Says Nintendo
Re: Feature: The Big Nintendo E3 Survey
Re: Nintendo's Charlie Scibetta Explains the Benefits of Developers Running the Company
Re: Nintendo's Charlie Scibetta Explains the Benefits of Developers Running the Company
Re: Nintendo Download: 20th June (Europe)
Luigi DLC is good value, less than £20, I was expecting it cost £30 due it essentially a game in itself albeit using NSMBU world map, and obviously assets to build the new levels.
Maybe it's because I'me so used to dlc being high priced for what you actually get on ps3.
Re: Pachter: Without Third Party Support Nintendo Fans May End Up Buying A Second Console
Re: Pachter: Without Third Party Support Nintendo Fans May End Up Buying A Second Console
I'm not rushing to get a ps4 as I hope as next year goeson more abd more 3rd support will find it's way to WiiU.
But there's noting wrong with owning more than one console so don't see what prat-cher is trying to do, other than make another anti WiiU press statement
Re: EA Will "Jump Back In" If Wii U Becomes A "Viable Platform"
Re: Time: Nintendo Is "Stumped" By The Wii U GamePad And Should Ditch It
Lol, went to link to post a comment but tbh wasn't worth it as people have already posted well enough to get the article writer and another Time writer to go on the defence in the comments section.
http://techland.time.com/2013/06/14/even-nintendo-is-stumped-by-the-wii-u-gamepad/
Do read through the comments.
Re: Time: Nintendo Is "Stumped" By The Wii U GamePad And Should Ditch It
@Adam Pikman 3 is designed to be played with WiiMote for optimal control but using the gamepad at the same time for the map, being able to keep an eye on and switch between the 3 characters.
Re: Time: Nintendo Is "Stumped" By The Wii U GamePad And Should Ditch It
Dumb articale, Nintendo design hardware around plans they have in regards of games.
Re: Exclusive: Zelda's Aonuma: We're Looking Into Going "Beyond The Disc" With DLC
Re: Features: The Joys of Following Nintendo at E3
Re: Review: Yoshi (Wii U eShop / NES)
Its 30 pence/cents... its not the greatest game, but it does what its ment to well enough, no better or worse than a lot of these tile-match puzzle game made today for mobile devices.
5 is a bit harsh, Game Mode B with speed set to fast is quite tricky as you go through the levels.
Re: Reggie: Publishers Should Create Great Games To Stem The Impact Of Used Game Sales
Re: Reggie: Publishers Should Create Great Games To Stem The Impact Of Used Game Sales
@LDXD and want to keep the game after completion, so you can go back to it and enjoy the game again.
Oh wait Usually... that is Nintendo published games.
Re: Miyamoto: Consumers Should Have Access To Their Games "For A Long Time"
If your system is stolen and you supply a crime number, account details, and a new system to Nintendo they will transfer purchases to the new system.. this does not apply to lost systems according to email I've saved from uk support when I asked specifically what I needed to do to retain my purchases should my system break or get stolen.
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Aiming To Increase Wii U Third Party Support By Boosting The Install Base

@LDXD Soory missed this-

@GiftedGimp lol probably but if that's the case I have news for him or anyone for that matter I've owned every major console from nes on up and the xbox1 will be the first time I miss out on owning to me it's just drm junk, plus I dont wanna run around my house screaming xbox on! xbox off!
The Xbox Off thing is so true, It never recognised my localised british accent when I (briefly) owned the Kinect when I had 360... felt a right fool repeating myself several time before saying oh F*** off and getting up to turn the system of or reaching for the controller for the system to turn itself off. lol
Re: Poll: Which Wii U E3 Game Has Impressed You the Most?
Could only vote for 1, X visually, But also Bayonetta and once I watched the developer directs Mario Kart and Mario World.
Watchdogs is there in my most impressed list based on trailers.
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Aiming To Increase Wii U Third Party Support By Boosting The Install Base
I know I do when my Son does that to me. ;( oh to have decent reaction speed again. lol
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Aiming To Increase Wii U Third Party Support By Boosting The Install Base
@LDXD.. yeah me too...
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Aiming To Increase Wii U Third Party Support By Boosting The Install Base
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Aiming To Increase Wii U Third Party Support By Boosting The Install Base
@Lasermaster123 Here, Here!! As much as I enjoy the latest Shooter, or other so called 'core' game I love to play Mario, Donkey Kong, And so called 'Kiddie' game.. I'm 38
A core gamer isn't someone stuck on endless shooter games and the like.
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Aiming To Increase Wii U Third Party Support By Boosting The Install Base
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Aiming To Increase Wii U Third Party Support By Boosting The Install Base
Re: Ubisoft Scaling Back Support For Wii U, Expects Price Cut To Bolster Sales
Update or new article needed... 'Just as Many new games from Ubisoft are coming to WiiU as its less rescource intensive'
http://mynintendonews.com/2013/06/12/ubisoft-will-continue-to-invest-in-wii-u/
Its really not that bleak in regards of Ubisoft Support
Re: Reggie: Nintendo Aiming To Increase Wii U Third Party Support By Boosting The Install Base
Re: Nintendo to Launch First Free-To-Play Game By March 2014
@EdEN Was there a patch? Last time I played there was no online multiplayer.
Re: Nintendo to Launch First Free-To-Play Game By March 2014
Re: Ubisoft Scaling Back Support For Wii U, Expects Price Cut To Bolster Sales
Re: Ubisoft Scaling Back Support For Wii U, Expects Price Cut To Bolster Sales
Scaling Back, does not mean abandon. So I'm going to wait and see what this will actually mean.
I'm Happy with WiiU, and I expect 3rd party support to be much stronger by the end of next year.
If it isn't then I'll get ps4, maybe, just for the 3rd party titles not on WiiU.
Re: Miyamoto Focuses on New Gameplay Experiences Before New IPs
An excisting ip already has a following and generally easier to sell to people. Thats why we get CoD, and other games every year.
Difference being 99% of the time Nintendo will take an excisting tweak it, implement new ideas, even take an ip in a slightly different direction at times and make it substantially different from previous itterations.
If/When Nintendo comes up with new gameplay ideas that won't fit excisting ips then they do/will create new ip's.
Re: Nintendo "Feels Good" About How It Stacks Up Against Sony And Microsoft
Still expecting more announcments either during e3 or over the next couple of months, one being a small price cut considering the low price point of ps4.
Nintendo need to get ruthless and make the most of Xbones overall negative reception, Like Sony have.
Re: Nintendo Loses Exclusivity On Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut For Wii U
WiiU will still be definitive version, Having the best visuals alongside the PC version but with Added Gamepad functionality.
So it's not exclusive, Not many 3rd party published games are exclusive to a single platform. Regardless of what that platform is.
Re: Nintendo Reveal Why Its 3D Mario Title Isn't Super Mario Galaxy 3
If you havent already watch the developer interview on estore or youtube.. all the features are there... unless they still keeping something a secret.
It actualy makes a lot of sense as to why they went this route considering the features they've included. Mixing it up with features found in previous mario games including the NSMBU-like touch screen features.
Re: Super Mario 3D World is "The Grand Culmination" of The Best Ideas From Past 3D Mario Titles
@hwrose379 Beat me to it.. @Peach64 get on Nintendo's Youtube channel, watch the dev interviews and you and many others will feel a lot more positive than if you purly rely on Nintendo Direct and trailers... neither show the games ideas, aims or features properly by comparison.
Re: Super Mario 3D World is "The Grand Culmination" of The Best Ideas From Past 3D Mario Titles
@Peach64 it doesnt have fixed camera, you can move it about. The dev interview explains
Re: Super Mario 3D World is "The Grand Culmination" of The Best Ideas From Past 3D Mario Titles
