@Ryu_Niiyama I know what you mean and I agree but also still laughed at “Switch is the best kept secret ever” when it’s like the 4th best selling console in world history
@FishyS TBH I never understand those reviews - I played entirely through The Outer Worlds and didn’t experience a single game breaking glitch or jarring visual pop in - I also 100%’d Kirby & Forgotten Land in co-op with a 7 year old on a Gen 1 switch docked and never had any noticeable frame drops or freezes - I can never recreate these nightmarish visual issues I hear about (I never got Ark tho lmao)
@victordamazio there’s actually a lot of historical backlash against almost every band/artists you mentioned for co-opting black musical styles without financial remuneration - like to the point it almost reads as sarcasm
Glad to see Double Dash getting some respect - been a Kart fan since game 1 and that was my favorite until 8 - Deluxe. Still think the Kong Mountain track is one of the best.
@CharlieGirl I actually am one of those people - I work in software for a living so I don’t actually own a personal PC (acronym redundancy noted) because I spend 10 hours a day on my work computer and have no desire to sit at a keyboard in my leisure time - since my 360 died I only play Switch, SNES, or Game Boy games on SNES with the Super Game Boy - so I like ports and releases and the Switch Online just fine
@alanahagues I would love to see an article of the best selling game in each Nintendo franchise (Mario, Kirby, Zelda, Pokémon, Metroid, etc) - could pad out the list with Smash, Mother, Splatoon, ETC.
Would be interesting and probably generate a lot of engagement due to surprise winners or complaints about poor sales for a beloved franchise.
@defrb wait - I promise I’m not being mean and this isn’t a trap - you’re disappointed in a framerate you didn’t even notice while playing?
I don’t really understand the whole framerate/ray tracing conversation, I’m 34 and NES was my first console, so I’m always trying to learn about it (and as a Mortal Kombat player, I understand the nature of frame delays affecting performance in those situations - it’s like Kirby at 30 fps seems great to me)
@IronMan30 we beat the city friday night, and blew out the beach last night - going to start the carnival tonight - it’s pretty great - I’m getting tired of only using the spear in Co-Op but doing the cafe in Waddle Dee Town was fun
@Yosher I just flashed back to the pre-order of Bioshock 2 that was supposed to come with the vinyl record of the Bioshock 1 soundtrack - went to my local gamestop at midnight and the records hadn’t shown up so they offered me FIVE. DOLLARS. BACK.

@defrb just curious how did you notice the framerate? I’m 4 hours in playing docked co op on a first gen switch and have had no issues
