If this is even half the game that BOTW was, I'm in. Haven't had any experience on the switch even close to BOTW.

I was really excited for this, because more zelda, why not? But then I heard there's a high chance it would be free to play. So kinda killed it for me.

I remember being a little kid, listening to the thong song, no idea what it was about and loving it!

Soon enough I came across the song video however. Left no room for questions.

To all the sooks who are complaining about this game getting a 9 out 10 - grow up and try to understand what an opinion is. You don't need to take some else's score as an attack on your own personal identity... It's THEIR score... Not YOURS. Imagine if you saw a movie with your friend, and after the movie you ask your friend, what did you think of the movie? Your friend says 'I didn't like it' - You wouldn't say 'hey that's bull$|&+' - Why wouldn't you say that? Because it's their opinion!
If you complain about this review being a 9 and stating that this game is 'excellent' then you are part of a wider problem of selfish, immature, entitled, baby gamers who are destroying the fabric of wholesome videogame discussion. Go suck your dummie and cry in some distant place where we can't hear you.

I totally agree. The demo was so slow. And reading of the shallow combat mechanics, I'm wondering what the appeal is for this game. Maybe I didn't give it enough time?

I'm in Australia, and the switch lite has barely been advertised at all.

I had a switch lite on pre order. I knew I'd be playing a switch mostly in handheld. Taking it places etc. Then Nintendo released the revised standard switch and it was a no brainer to go for the revised switch. Bigger screen, better battery, dockable. From what I've seen, people are buying switch lite either for kids or because they need to own all new Nintendo hardware, or they play exclusively in handheld mode - which are all great reasons to buy.

I loved this game. One of my most played on GCN. I remember the visuals being so pretty.

Can't wait for this. Gonna check the reviews first before committing to it though. Worried that we're only being shown the best bits.

Nintendo would never announce a new switch before end of financial year. They'd want people to snap up as many current SKUs as possible. I'm hanging out for a new model, so hurry up Ninty!
