Re: Soapbox: Game Freak Could Actually Learn A Thing Or Two From Palworld

@UltimateOtaku91 The biggest factor here is optimization. Look at Mario Wonder, Tears of the Kingdom, Pikmin 4 etc, they look and run great on the switch. Sure, more power is always welcome, but it's not the main issue here. The main issue is that Gamefreak's schedule is to have a new game every 1-2 years, and that just isn't enough time when you're making a big 3d open-world game. The result is a buggy mess, that takes a brilliant idea, and unfortunately makes it (for many) unplayable.

I played and finished this game when it came out. It has some pacing issues but is just so charming.

The art style and soundtrack are the highlights, but I also loved how it kept introducing new areas while not being afraid to leave others behind.

The story is really weird and interesting and kept me engaged from start to finish, so If this game speaks to you, you should absolutely give it a try!

Re: Zelda's English VA Officially Confirms Her Return In Tears Of The Kingdom

Yesssss! So glad they stuck with her as she killed it in botw!!! Not a fan of some of the voice acting in botw (mainly Impa and the king), but Zelda's voice fitted perfectly imo! I have no idea why she gets the hate she gets, did people even play the story? She lost her mother, her father was super hard on her and couldn't get her sealing powers to work thus she blames herself for all the people who died in ganons attack 100 years ago. Of course she's going to be more sad, angry, and frustrated given the circumstances. She perfectly portrays all the feelings she must have been feeling in some of those heartbreaking moments, and I'm glad Nintendo turned the other cheek to the criticism from fans. You go Patricia!!! Can't wait to hear more of her in TOTK!
