Got this day one although I don't usually go for these types of games, I bought it on the strength of the developers and I'm glad I did as I really enjoyed it.
I have both Cods on Wii U mainly because I buy anything with local co-op, I enjoy both and play them to this day. That said November is too early for me to get another cod so if it does come to Wii u I'll be getting it much later.
@element187 You know what that makes an aweful lot of sense, if they said " let us out we'll give you atleast 10 more games for Wii U." It would partially explain the missing features and dlc.
@Daemonite Nintendo funded W101 and Bayo2 development, they partially own them, just like Sega own the platinum games they paid for and published.
@element187 Did Nintendo pay for exclusivity? Would Ubisoft not have had to pay for breech of contract in this case? I guess these deals are done discretely anyway so they may well have and we wouldnt know.
@Peach64 @DrSlump Someone will make an unoffical app a week or two after release trust me. Nintendo wants PS3/4, X360/1, wii, vita, with does mobile owners to be able to access it hence the web browser.
Making it an app would mean to reach these ppl Nintendo would have to ask Sony and MS if they can plug their products on their systems, thats not going to happen.
@dwuuuu @Kaze_Memaryu Its a web service meaning it can be viewed on 3ds, tablets, other consoles or PCs not just phones. An app would exclude other consoles from using the service.
@Meaty-cheeky Financial report briefing, its when Nintendo outlines plans for the next financial year to reassure investors. After posting losses they have to spill a few secrets early so shareholders don't start dumping stock.
@3MonthBeef They did show this last year, when they revealed it it was in early Alpha and no more than 6 months in development. If you follow the Warriors series you will be familiar with how the stages of development look. This game is not being made by Nintendo they are only advising and supervising the IP.
Zelda U has been in active dev since 2012, the average dev time for a Zelda game is 5 years but Nintendo said they wanted to reduce that with future installments. My guess is Its coming late 2015 and we will get a sequel within the following 2 years using the same engine and assets like what happened with OOT & MM.
@shigulicious Don't forget Transformers, Train your Dragon 2 & One Piece releasing in June, Skylanders in October and Disney Infinity 2.0 in September. I won't list all the eshop games as their release dates are not very reliable.
I hope Hyrule Warriors comes out nowhere near Dragon Age I (Oct 10) or it'll have stay sealed until i've completed every path :/ (provided its not crap like DA2 was of course).
@shinokami Why the hell did you have to go and say that?!?!?! My mind is actually blown at the concept, it would be sooooo awesome, i want it, i want it NOW!
@JaxonH Don't waste your time arguing on forums, you'll never win. I would say you are wrong about 1 thing though, casuals (minors or not) are the ones that buy the most consoles, this is why advertising is so important, "gamers" are constantly on the net actively looking for the next console or game so advertising is not as important as it is for the masses.
But who really cares, we're here for the games not the stats or the fan boy wars .
"Pity those who cannot partake of the pleasures you find enjoyment in, their lives are poorer for it."
Kickstarter is all about having your backers have trust, faith and confidence in you and your project, this campaign did little to inspire any of these qualities for a number of reasons:
1. Apparent betrayal of 3DS owners who were not included in console options. These were the main people hyped about the game and at the last minute were told they weren't getting it. Only when the campaign was sure to fail did RK consider a 3DS version. 3DS owners are arguably RKs biggest market and most loyal fans, upsetting them was a big no no.
2. RK has 2 relatively hyped games soon to be released on 3DS (Tresurenaughts & Moon Chronicles), asking for half a million for a new project when people are waiting to see if your two next games are going to deliver is a bad idea. Also some would argue that the revenue from these two releases should be used to fund Cult County fully or at least partly.
3. There are a number of high and low profile horror games coming to home consoles in the next two years and compared to them the pitch for Cult Country didn't sound all that great or different. Even the over hyped Daylight recently failed to deliver so i fear a future pitch needs to be alot better.
4. Episodic format, this has yet to be proven on consoles. Telltale games and are the only successful ones that come to mind and the format is more interactive visual novel which is a perfect fit. No one wants to wait 6months-1yr to get the next episode of a horror-action-suspense game.
That said this would have been a day one purchase for me but from the start of the Kickstarter announcement i saw this failing for the reasons above.
@Fireninjastar Lol I thought the same thing, if it gets localised I'll be rebuying a Vita to play it, providing its good of course. Still waiting for Attack on Titan to be localised...
@therealmario101 Comments like yours are one of the only reasons I check the comments section on this site. Aside from a few posters that are level headed the comments section here is almost as bad as ign.
The annoucements are what matter not how they are delivered. That said I preferred last years direct over a stage show, this is the digital age and so a digital direct sounds good to me.
To be fair chasing auroa was a weak game, I got it for multi-play but it seemed very half-baked. Not sure I'd be Intrested in the sequel unless there's a lot more to it.
@MouldyK If you have your NNID you can get your games and dlc back if you send the broken 3DS to Nintendo for repairs (cost varies) or as proof of destruction. However if you have seperate insurance then cart is the best option as you can get it replaced and sell it if you've already had your fill.
This game looks like fun but I dislike football IRL so im not sure I'd enjoy it as much. I loved Mario strikers though and I hope they make another one.
Really looking forward to this game I've been following it for a while. The Devs are quiet active on the greenlight page if anyone wants to ask questions.
People and the media need to stop with the Sony is bankrupt and Nintendo is doomed nonsense, these guys buy and sell assets all the time and as businesses they are constantly consolidating and expanding where necessary. Just enjoy the products and leave the business and analysis to the experts.
A logical observation would be that China's recently relaxing laws make Taiwan's office obsolete (unfortunately for staff there), not sure if you realize but Taiwan is less than 100 Miles to China.

@meatbinbanquet Me too, I'm hoping we get some more Warriors titles if this does well. WO3U was awesome on Wii U.
Re: Pokémon Omega Ruby & Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Confirmed For Worldwide 3DS Launch in November

Both X1 and PS4 are expected to have price drops by 2015 so this makes sense. Uninteresting news though...

Skipped this game as I'm not a fan of golf.
Re: Pokkén Fighters and Pokkén Tournament Trademarks Emerge in Europe
@memoryman3 Dungeon and rumble u were not low quality and were well received by fans. Not great games but by no means bad or low quality.
Re: Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn Slam Dunks Its Funding Goal
I didn't ask for this and I don't think it will be good, but if it turns out well I might actually pick it up.
Re: Pokkén Fighters and Pokkén Tournament Trademarks Emerge in Europe
@memoryman3 What spinoffs are you reffering to? I can't think of any that were not well received by fans and/or critics.
Re: Renegade Kid Moving On To A "New Experimental 2D Game for 3DS" After Kickstarter Failure
I like RK but they need to release the games they have developing before moving on to new projects.
Re: Review: Abyss (Wii U eShop)
Hard to say no at £1.79 but the lack of pro controller is very disappointing.
Re: Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails Confirmed For Release on 15th May
Day 1 for me, hope the hype pays off.

Only 16days left and we are only hearing about it now? I don't think they are going make their goal considering how little they have now.
I really want this game to be made but they need a lot more visibility and exposure to reach such a high goal.
