Re: Screenshots Disabled in Comic Workshop Miiverse Community

Emblem

@rjejr The main function of the game is to create comics then either print them via SD card, send to your friends or upload to external sites. You can still do all these things.
I have a feeling most people complaining do not have the game or know how this even works.

1. This game was designed without Miiverse in mind and it was added later in development.
2. You can add photos to your comics, this opened the door to add anything onto a community for all ages. Nudity, pornography, violence you name it.
3. Since comics were not originally meant to be displayed publicly this wasn't a problem.
4. People being people posted stuff they shouldn't have and since the feature cannot distinguish this images, the feature has been locked until they find a work around.

People were posting pictures both normal (still agai nst EULA) and inappropriate, thus the function was removed as the app itself couldn't distinguish pictures from other comic images. Until it can the service will be offline.

People are really getting mad at this? Its the few spoiling it for the many and its not the devs or Nintendo's fault people choose to be irresponsible. Hopfully the Devs will amend the system soon so comic screens can be posted again.

Re: Nintendo Dominates List of Top-Selling Games in Japan for 2014

Emblem

@ToxieDogg Play it to the end, it has the best use of background and foreground mechanics to date and the min games are awesome. Its a solid Kirby game that reaffirms what's great about the series. It doesn't innovate a great deal but it doesn't need to in order to be a great game. Just my 2 cents.

Re: Golden Sun: The Lost Age Hitting Japanese Wii U Virtual Console Next Week

Emblem

@Nintenjoe64 Don't think that will ever happen, even the best rom emulators have stability, bug, corruption issues and frequent updates. VC is flawless in comparrison so i'd prefer they stick to their guns.

I'd be more interested in them creating a Dolphin like Wii upscaler so I can play my Wii games in HD like I can on my PC.

Re: Nintendo Download: 17th July (Europe)

@Starwolf_UK Explain please? Isnt the 3DS region locked anyway? You also can't download games or demos without a NNID right? What gets locked?

I have 1 linked (UK) and 1 unlinked 3ds (JPN) in the post from Play Asia so im genuinely interested.

Re: Wii U Version Of Project CARS Drops To The Back Of The Starting Grid

Emblem

@TICGS I cant imagine anyone with an X1 getting this over Horizon 2 or anyone with a PS4 getting this over Drive club or The Crew.

Still its worth noting that this is being distributed by Bamco who are also working on Wii U Smash. Maybe they already know the actual release date and are worried about losing sales?

Re: Review: Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (Wii U eShop)

Emblem

@Peach64 @Unit_DTH Was going to ask the same question, current gen digital playground is almost a wasteland as far as Indies/digital games go right now so I guess you are talking about PC,PS3 & XBL360?

If you haven't played it yet Unit_DTH I highly recommend Transistor, its quite unique and its an amazing experience and that soundtrack... man that soundtrack is hypnotising. I have it on PC and i'll be d/ling it on my PS4 when it eventually comes to PSN+. Its relatively short, but its meant to be played on new game+ once its over which completely changes the game around.

Re: Nintendo Download: 10th July (Europe)

Emblem

I'm okay with a couple slow weeks on the Eshop, I have 9 full retail PS4,Wii U & 3DS games preordered for August/Sept/Oct period.

Wish this publishers had spaced this years releases out abit more though as July and early August is dead as far as retail goes. At least I have Destiny beta to look forward to in July I guess.

Re: Buck Rogers SNES Prototype Materializes

I had no idea what Buck Rodgers was until the Mega Drive game, i played that to death, i still actually have it lol. This looks okay but like most games it hard to tell if its fun until you play it.

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Explains His Belief That the Video Game Industry's "Creativity is Still Immature"

@Darknyht This guy bothered to read the whole thing and comprehend it, follow his example.

Totally agree, there was some of creativity at E3 but it was drowned out buy everything else. Now wither this is due to the media & public preferring what they know over what's new, who knows.

My hat goes of to MS though as Project Spark has me contemplating an X1 as its totally fresh and could be wondrous. I'm eagerly awaiting release to see if it all comes together nicely.
