@warioswoods: Too many to list. Just think of all the random games which appeared on the ESRB without any prior announcement. Most of them haven't really been very big, but this one is!
And yeah, judging by trademark updates a while ago, Life Force/Salamander ReBirth will be next. I personally hope for Parodius after that.
None of the EU GameCube features are pretty big, but they're still neat:
A ton of bugs and sequence breaks are gone
Loading times (Including for each door) are a second or two longer to prevent crashes (US version sometimes crashed if a room loaded too fast)
Narration during the intro and ending
The same voice says "Tallon Overworld" and "Impact Crater" when you travel between those two areas
Your suit talks when you lose your equipment at the start, whenever you scan something, when you get near dangerous areas, etc.
Certain enemies don't appear in certain rooms, whereas there are enemies in certain rooms that aren't there in the US/JP versions
There are missile pickups which give you 3, 5 and 10 missiles, instead of just one that gives you 5
Certain enemies deal more damage and take more hits to kill (Baby Sheegoths, Omega Pirate, Metroid Prime)
Meta Ridley has completely different attacks
In addition to the amount of missiles you're carrying, you can see the maximum number of missiles you can have (So instead of just "45" you see "45/60")
You can see your logbook scan and item pickup percentage on the pause screen
These effects were only in the European GameCube version - So for some reason they just decided to remove them again for the European Trilogy version. They kept in other European-exclusive GameCube features though, for some reason.
@warioswoods: Yeah, the framerate's a bit better than chapter 1, but it's still not anywhere near as good as the PC version. Honestly, if Telltale was that eager to release the game on Wii they should've just released it as a retail game like with Sam & Max in order to have more space to work out kinks.
Block Breaker Deluxe has a lot of new features and such, while this is still as simple as it's always been. The gameplay is similar, but they can't really be compared, IMO.
I'm probably gonna grab it on Steam sometime - Somehow I doubt they're gonna be able to keep the online leaderboards and shareable ghost data for the WiiWare version.
Actually, on PC this chapter is much smaller than the previous one - The first chapter's folder is 285 MB but this one is only 171 MB. It should be a bit easier for them to properly port it this time.
@ King Elemento: The original game went through various rereleases (All for the Mega Drive) which removed licensed characters. Since then it's only been on a Saturn and PC collection, I think.
Keep in mind that for now this news story is linked to Samurai Warriors: Katana and not Samurai Warriors 3 - We haven't added the game page for it yet!
@ Ratengo: Namco's almost out of games though - Not counting these two they've only got 6 more upcoming arcade games. Hopefully they've got another batch after!
Hey, it's not like I get notified when people ask me something/say something to me!
The game is too simple, there's no music, there's only two modes and it gets boring incredibly fast. If it had been a NES game released worldwide as part of the Nintendo sports series I would've given it about a 2 or 3 out of 10 (Just like almost all other games in the series), but the fact it's an import and thus costs even more than other NES games was enough for me to give it a 1.
@DarthBo: I've played all but Escape (I don't hear too many good things about it) and to this day I'd still say Curse is one of the best adventure games ever made. The voice acting added a ton of charm and the graphics are beautiful, even if they're a complete change from the two games before.
Don’t let that fool you into thinking the game is any easier than the previous instalments in the series though – It’s definitely not as long, but you’ll likely be stumped a good number of times in the 3 or 4 hours it’ll take you to finish, unless you’re some kind of mastermind.
It's impossible for developers to send out review copies of WiiWare copies, so no, we haven't had the chance to yet. If anything serious does crop up naturally we'll change the review accordingly, but Telltale's generally pretty solid with these things so I doubt it
@Djunglelurban: Yes we did! Rest assured, Telltale guaranteed us that there are absolutely no differences between the two versions other than controls.
@ Stuffgamer1: I know, but the game's main draw is supposed to be the updated mode, so it's kind of sad it's so ugly.
They should remake LeChuck's Revenge (And maybe Escape) as well, yes, but Curse should be left alone. You can't improve something which is already perfect!
@ David77: No, you really don't, trust me! Yes, it's great to have voice acting, but the old graphics are a mile better and it offers absolutely nothing new, it's the exact same game as before. Tales is completely new, how could you not want it more?
@ people talking about Metroid Prime: Metroid Prime is a first-person adventure, not a shooter, so it's hard to compare!
@ Kim Jong-Il: True, but not everyone's PC is good enough to run recent new games, you wouldn't believe the amount of people I know that can't even run Half-Life 2 decently! PS3/360 both have good FPS games, but as you said, yes, obviously PC is still the king
@ calculon: I never said humans exclusively used human weapons Also, I only referred to Prime 3's graphics, I agree that the game itself is fairly boring and the worst of the trilogy.
-Donkey Kong (Arcade) -Mario Tennis (N64) -Nazo no Murasamejou (NES import) -Popeye (NES/Arcade - The Popeye license is now public domain so there should be no issues at all) -Wrecking Crew '98 (SNES import)
Can't believe no-one's mentioned Decap Attack (Mega Drive) yet, I find it really weird that still isn't on VC. It's on collections, it should be possible!

Re: Left 4 Dead Map Infects Mushroom Kingdom
TF2 has awesome community-made, Nintendo-related things too: http://www.fpsbanana.com/skins/33351
Re: Left 4 Dead Map Infects Mushroom Kingdom
Another reason why Valve games are always superior on PC.
Re: Nintendo Download: Spaceballs, Shopping Carts, Poker, Street Challenges, Art and Toys (US)
@ballistikboy: Yup, so we noticed, it's added now.
Re: Review: Rygar (Virtual Console / Virtual Console Arcade)
No issues here.
Re: Castlevania Comes to WiiWare
@ Blue Protoman: Maybe they'll be nice just this once

Re: Rygar
That's true, but only in Japan - Everywhere else Rygar is the main character and Ligar is the villain.

Re: Nintendo Download: Contra Rebirth, 6 in 1 Dictionary (EU)
@ Chibi Link: You could always simply change your Wii's country to a European one and have them all available.
Re: TOMENA SANNER
Well, this is the name the ESRB has rated it with
Re: Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge
Ok you got us there
Re: Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge
That one was actually released here.
Re: Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge
Just a guess, we always add that for games not released in one region just in case they will be released there on VC!

Re: Review: Tales of Monkey Island: Chapter 2 (WiiWare)
@warioswoods: I noticed some lag in the bigger areas, such as Spinner Cay.
Re: Oscar in Toyland on DSiWare This Friday
@ Zak Canard: Really interesting find, this requires more investigation!
Re: Review: Arkanoid Plus! (WiiWare)
@Machu: D-pad only. You can use the Classic Controller as well.

Re: Japan Gets 20 More Namco Arcade Games
Not one update - These will be gradually released during the rest of 2009.

Re: Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap
No, the Master System version of Wonder Boy in Monster World is not out. We'll probably see it eventually.

Re: Buy Metroid Prime Trilogy, Get the Original Metroid Free
@Sean: To be honest the only one I think is any good is the first. But it happens to be REALLY good, I'd say it's one of the best games ever made.
Re: Nintendo Download: Phantasy Star, Flipnote Studio, Sujin Taisen, Rattle Battle and Slot Car Racing (EU)
@Ratengo: Thanks for saying that, dang publishers and their obsession with changing game names
Re: Buy Metroid Prime Trilogy, Get the Original Metroid Free
You can also unlock the original Metroid in Zero Mission by simply beating the game.

Re: Nintendo Download: Driift Mania, The Three Musketeers, Monkey Island and Guitar Rock Tour (EU)
Probably the same as 5-player TG16 games, 4 Wii remotes and 4 GC controllers.

Well, this is episodic gaming, what did you expect? It's longer than the Strong Bad games

Did you read the review?

Re: Nintendo Download: Monkeys, Musketeers, Cards and Sudoku (US)
Actually, I do expect a VC update in Europe - And I think it'll have Golden Axe.
Re: Last Ninja 3
Nope, still no patch! Incredibly ridiculous/lazy.
Re: Nintendo Download: Kirby's Dream Land 3, Twinbee, ColorZ, Heracles and Sudoku (EU)
@ Nero: 7th of August.

Re: Take on Doc Louis in a Club Nintendo Exclusive Punch-Out!! Game
No, that's a reference to a line from the NES game
Re: Nintendo Download: Bits, Tanks, Ants, Commandos, Pulses and Brains (US)
@ Mike: Pulseman is nothing at all like Mega Man, really. It's much faster.
Re: Nintendo Download: Bits, Tanks, Ants, Commandos, Pulses and Brains (US)
@ Supermarioman: Not until later this month.
You should just buy them on PC though, you can get all 5 episodes for $35 instead of $50 and you'll get them faster
Re: What Capcom games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?
Demon's Crest, Final Fight (Arcade), Final Fight 3 and Resident Evil 2 (If we're ever getting third-party N64 games...).
Re: Game & Watch Games to be Released on DSiWare
@ Arctic Friend: Keep in mind though we still haven't gotten the Club Nintendo Game & Watch Collection, so it might be that.
