Rolento is in this one, probably to make up for his exclusion in the SNES version of the first game, Sodom isn't though. The only enemy from the first game besides Rolento that's in this is Andore.
@ Terranigma: Super Turrican II got a European release, but with Factor 5 being practically bankrupt now sadly I don't think it'll be released on VC here anymore
It actually took Japan 4 years to get Super Punch-Out!! after the US got it back in the day, believe it or not
It's also interesting to note that they only got it as a download game by using blank SFC cartridges, so that means other download games (Super Famicom Wars, Wrecking Crew '98) are also possible now!
@ Ratengo: Yeah, I think Twinbee was definitely a mistake. Shinobi was rated on the same day as Fantasy Zone II and Secret Command though, so I still think that's the Master System version.
@ Bahamut: I actually just replayed Portal and it took me about 50 minutes. That's a good example of a game that gets much, much easier when you know all solutions. I think for Icarian even if you know everything it'll still take 3 hours.
Banjo-Kazooie was the last Rare game I really liked. Tooie and DK64 were both trainwrecks, I always preferred GoldenEye to Perfect Dark (Don't kill me!) and everything since then has been pretty mediocre.
@ 10: The GameCube game pretty much has the least content of all except Snapped. It has exactly the same microgames as the original game (Plus about 10 new ones), but barely has any single player modes and no minigames at all.
@ Wiiloveit: I don't even use the Classic Controller for N64 games, from my experience the GameCube controller is the better option. It works fine here.
@ Bass: I would've said that (MK64 is my least favourite Kart) but I didn't review it
@ longtimegamer: Yes, I just had to type my code in an email. The code is unique for every player (It's probably based on your Wii or your profile name) so you can't really cheat.
Haven't gotten my goodie bag yet. Fabian from Ronimo Games said it was sent out a week and a half ago so it should arrive any day really.
@ Relevant: For the last month or so the updates have been at 11 PM GMT instead. No idea why, the clocks went back so it's supposed to be at midnight like the last two years!
That one's pretty tough. I eventually beat it by slowly pushing forward to defeat the vikings (Simple), then throwing rocks as much as possible while pushing forward with Sun Giants.
When the vikings have been defeated, try making your units walk along the bottom path, then switching the sign to the top path and throwing a boulder so it passes by the units on the bottom path with no problem.
I don't see how people can call it disappointing when Galaxy 2 was announced. This is the first time ever that there's 2 3D Mario platformers on a Nintendo console!
@ KeeperBvK: Honestly, I hardly even consider it a VC platform anymore, it got 2 games after being delayed for a year and hasn't had anything for another year since!
@ Clinker: That has to be wrong, it's not listed on Nintendo or Sega's Japanese sites. It also says they're getting Earthworm Jim 2 which is also wrong.
@ Gabbo: They'd still have to edit the entire game. Not a single Japanese import game so far was actually translated (Sin & Punishment was planned for release in the US so the one on VC is actually the unreleased North American version) so it's not very likely they'll do it.
No, we probably won't get it. There's no way Square's going to fully translate the game and release it on VC, and they won't release the game in Japanese for obvious reasons.
@ Objection_Blaster: I guess it could happen, but there's so many other games the US still needs (Adventure Island, Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands) they might want to catch up first.
@ Bahamut: Yeah, if it had online it'd probably be a 10. It's understandable why it's not included though, it's just not really affordable for many smaller developers. I guess they could've included leaderboards though.
Keep in mind though Umbrella Chronicles made you revisit the exact same rooms in different levels quite a few times. From the sound of it that doesn't happen here.
It was a list of levels and playable characters. I'll post it below, naturally there's SPOILERS:
Raccoon City, October 1998 - 2 Chapters Playable Characters: Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield & Ada Wong
Raccoon Ruins, September 1998 2 Chapter Playable Characters: Leon Kennedy, Claire Redfield & Sherry Birkin
Rockfort Island, December 1998 2 Chapters Playable Characters: Claire Redfield & Steve Burnside
The Capital, December 1998 2 Chapter Playable Characters: Leon Kennedy
Antartic Facility, December 1998 - Sub Chapter (Legacy Forgotten) reference to the infamous Ashford Family. 2 Chapters Playable Characters: Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield & Steve Burnside
South America, July 2002 2 Chapters Playable Characters: Leon Kennedy & Jack Krauser
Umbrella, A New Beginning, February 2003 & 2004 3 Chapters Playabe Character : Ada Wong
The Beginning of the End, August 2006 2 Chapters Playable Character: Chris Redfield & Jill Valentine
June 2009, Former Wishes - The Final Chapter. 2 Chapters Playable Character: Sherry Birkin
Good to see someone else on NL bought Plants vs. Zombies, I bought it when it was released a few days ago and it's probably my favourite PopCap game yet.
The only one they'll finally be able to enjoy is Cubello (Or Cubeleo as it'll be called in Japan), they've had Orbital and Dialhex on the GBA since 2006

Re: Nintendo of Europe Announces Upcoming Hanabi Games
Because it was released today?
Re: Capcom Wants To Know Your Favorite TvC Characters
Actually, a European release has already been announced.

Re: Review: Puzzle Bobble Plus! (WiiWare)
Yeah, but they're not in the very first game which this is supposed to be a "remake" of
Re: Puzzle Bobble Plus!
Completely new, as far as I can tell. But I haven't played every single Puzzle Bobble game, so if someone tells me I'm wrong I apologize in advance
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - July 2009
But it's not Final Fantasy VI, it's III

Re: Icarian Gets a New Name: NyxQuest
@ wanderlustwarrior: They weren't allowed to use the name in the US so they changed it before release, it's called Beer Pong in Europe still.
Re: Nintendo Download: Drill Sergeants, Puzzles, Golf, Art Styles and Planets (US)
@ Djunglelurban: Nope, all three were already announced long ago but without dates

F-Zero by Monster Games.

NeoGAF is a usable word, automatic 10/10 if it spawns a raging fanboy
Re: Mario Moves Into The Storage Business
Obviously this is just modified merchandise, I bought all of them about two years ago. There's also Luigi and a green pipe.

Re: Another Hint at a New Tingle Game: Teaser Website
It has a few annoying gameplay flaws, but besides that I love it. It's got some of the best boss battles in the Zelda series.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Available on VC This Friday
There won't be any, SSB is also listed on NoE's site now. The WiiWare/DSiWare games aren't yet though.
Re: Tingle to Star in Another Game?
Bahamut: Simple, the two articles were written in short succession, but obviously Super Smash Bros. is big news, so we kept it on top.
Re: Tingle to Star in Another Game?
Rupeeland was honestly a great game, North Americans don't know what they're missing out on
Re: Super Smash Bros. Available on VC This Friday
No, South Korea is getting it last

Re: Online Play And New Characters (Un)confirmed For Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom
The one that was cut is Hakushon Daimaou - The only Tatsunoko character in the game I actually knew before
Well, unless they add a Samurai Pizza Cat for the western release

Re: Super Mario Logo Spotted At E3?
This is at Nintendo's Wii stand, so it's not New Super Mario Bros. 2. It's likely to be a WiiWare game if you ask me.

I still need to buy Henry Hatsworth, but I have no doubt it'll be awesome. Can't wait to see what else Kyle will work on.

It's really weird that Contra 4 never came out in Europe, the game actually even includes the Probotectors as unlockable characters!
