And do you have an actual rebuttal with any facts or data? Or are you going to just keep saying the same thing with no evidence? If that "are the exactly lines a goodold boys camp would use." then please provide the exact quote where that has been used by this so called "goodold boys" group. You have failed to show any evidence to support anything you claim.
The pay gap argument lol, yea I love how that falls apart when nobody can actually provide an example of a man and women, in the exact same roles, where one is getting paid more than the other. Also every year men work more labor hours, on average, than women. So the argument now has become women should be paid more or equal pay for working, on average, less hours....lol good luck with that logic.
As a strong and independent woman once said..."I have nothing to prove to you." Please go educate yourself on how the education system works and pays their staff (class sizes, extra pay opportunites, state funding, seniority, etc). Once you see the data you will realize that most educational facilities pay women more than men and there are much more female staff than male. Lets also completely ignore the fact that most teachers are backed by very strong teacher's unions (many lead by females or comprised of mostly females) that, at this point, are clearly not for the benefit of the community or student and only out to increase their pay.
It is very clear that the user SwitchForce has never actually worked in the education field, which is still dominated by women. As a male that works in that environment your argument that the "goodold boys" group will be broken up by more diversity (aka more women) is completely wrong as the exact opposite creates the "goodold girls" group. Stop acting like women are not capable of the same toxic work environment you suggest men are only capable of. Let's also completely ignore the fact that more women are graduating from most forms of school and more women are succeeding in the work force than men currently.
Y’all can criticize the Wii all ya want, at the end of the day a supercharged GameCube beat the PS3 and the Xbox360. Nintendo has plenty of cash flow and will always do whatever they want. Haters gonna hate.
Why not develop something like that in CAD or other professional 3D modeling programs? Could actually develop a real, marketable skill set along the way too.
Just got done playing the new courses and modes and all I can really say is.... Toadstool Tour is still tops. Super Rush just seems to lack the soul of the prior titles. Since this is the last free update, I can get rid of this game now.
Great, hopefully it gets a physical release with the needed patches some reviewers have pointed out (text box too large and some other small things). Can we get Jade Empire next? Everyone forgets that one.
@roy130390 I disagree as NL was never designed to have Amiibo support from its initial development. Not to mention the Welcome Amiibo has a much smaller fraction of content to add to the game than the 2.0 update with NH, they really are not comparable as a consumer can fully enjoy NL core game without the Amiibo update. NH's 2.0 update was always part of the plan as early datamining found info regarding the roost, it was in the code, we just couldn't get to it yet. NH's 2.0 update literally added and changes core gameplay elements of the Animal Crossing series. Welcome Amiibo added some features but no changes to the gameplay, such as Farming/Cooking and new buildings/shops/islands, etc.
@Savino From what I recall she was in the running for Captain Marvel but lost to Brie...still scratching my head on that one. Every time a Metroid film gets mentioned I don't get how people don't think of her.
Larson's acting is pretty robotic and her face is too round. Katheryn Winnick is always a better choice. Has the height, wouldn't need a rear double, actually knows martial arts. The list goes on.
I just hope Prime 4 can give me that sense of awe like the original Prime did. The world, the music, the graphics, the small details in everything (her reflection in the visor when lit a certain way). Hopefully Retro can do it again.
It's funny how any of the GTA trilogy games on PC w/mods crush the so called "Definitive Edition." They have had how long? Rockstar needs to get it together.
@JDig It's clearly not just me lol. See...the many other comments (also the THPS1+2 review). Notice how all you can do is attack me, and not my argument, by saying I "seem oversensitive." If you have to attack me then you lost the argument. Thanks for the W.
@Teksetter You must have missed the THPS1+2 review. You may not see it but we definitely do. I also don't see many other reviews giving us this "warning" so why did PJ need to? Point is he threw it in there when it is not part of reviewing the game. How do we know?....because others have reviewed this game and did not feel the need to do that. Why?....because their personal feelings on social matters are irrelevant to reviewing the game. It's no different than going to buy a car and the seller telling you about how cars that use gas can be controversial as opposed to just telling you about the car and how it works/runs. Did we ask? No. Did we ask if Destroy All Humans! has "offensive" content? No. So why is he saying there is when we, the individual, decide what's offensive? Wasn't controversial then and isn't now. But alas....we agree to disagree.
@Teksetter A game review is yes an opinion but the opinion is on the game content, not on how the readers should interpret something for themselves. Is the game in the past? Yes....Do I (we) care what PJ's personal thoughts of that particular setting are or does his thoughts on that setting should/have any weight on the review process.....No. At no point, when this game originally came out, was this content considered "offensive" (see old reviews) but because PJ tells me its offensive it now just is? That's not his call to make, that's our call to make. Once again, tell me what's there, not how to feel about it. He did it twice now (not something up for debate, it happened) and this is me, and apparently many others, telling him to please, stop it. Let's see if he ignores us or uses this as a platform to get better at his reviews.
@JDig Telling your readers about how they should feel about a certain time/setting or who they should be applauding is now a selectable character in a game; is in no way, shape or form, part of a video game review. Like a "journalist" should be doing...give us the who, what, why, when, and where. Not how to feel about them.
Can we get someone who can just review the game and not tell us how to feel about certain "offensive" things or who's inclusion needs to be applauded? This is the second review from this PJ fellow where he takes time to write things that frankly have nothing to do with a game review. This is not the appropriate platform for your opinions on social matters. Stick to games.

How is asking for evidence to back up what you claim a "Misogyny mindset"?

So where do we order the NA (ESRB) version? The Red Art store only seems to have the PEGI version.

There are lots....see the many PC games from that year, or earlier.

Well it's not definite, they're just our opinions. See the last sentence in my reply. It's not a contest.

I disagree. New Leaf was a complete package I did not have to wait a year to fully enjoy. Also gold tools. So we agree to disagree.
