Nope, sorry, don't care. I'm tired of feeling "guilty" for not buying a game I never wanted and never asked for. There was a time when I would feel guilty about such things, but not anymore. I don't work for EA and I don't work for Nintendo. I'm not responsible for sales. I'm in this hobby for the fun of it. That's all. I'll buy what I please and I make no apologies for what I choose to buy or not buy.

Nothing about Smash Bros. is "realistic." I mean, most of these characters don't even exist in each other's universes. Smash is about having fun, that's it. Don't take it too seriously.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Nintendo fans love platformers just like Xbox fans love shooters and PlayStation fans love action games. Every system has its dominant genre.

I just knew this game was going to do well on Wii U. I haven't played it myself yet, but after watching the trailer I thought it looked like something right up Nintendo fans' alley.

What is this 'Disney Magic Castle'? Is it coming west? Is it already here? I didn't even know Disney was that big in Japan, haha.

Does anybody know what 'DMC' is supposed to mean? If you've played this game you know what I'm talking about.

I downloaded this because I thought it looked a lot like Gaia's Moon (didn't even know this was the second game in the series). Gaia's Moon was also made by EnjoyUp, and I really liked that game so I decided to give this a go. And I had 200 DSi points that had been sitting in my system for ages anyway, so I thought, "why not?" At first I thought it was lame, but after playing for a while I found myself unable to stop. Embarrassing to admit, but I like this game. I've even completed most of the challenges, haha.

I was a little put off at first, but I'm actually starting to come around on 3D World. I'm looking at the screenshots and stuff, and the game actually looks really neat! I'm think I'm getting excited to play it!

All I saw was, 'Metroid Blasting Onto The Wii U' and got super excited. Then I read the rest and was like, "Awww..."

I think the pistol is the least of that box's problems. The whole design is a mess.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Pokémon. That's the one Nintendo franchise where you can choose between a boy or a girl.

Maybe I'm naive, but I have an honest question. What's the big deal with the "sales projections"? People keep bringing up the sales projections like it's some kind of big deal. Is it? I'm asking honestly. So Nintendo expected to sell 15 million 3DSes, but only sold 14 million. So what? Is something "bad" supposed to happen if they don't reach these goals? Again, I'm asking honestly here.

I totally agree with your comment. It's not so black and white. You can't just lump everyone into the same category. Everyone has their own motivations, desires, and reasons for buying the system.

I still play my Wii to this day. Don't even own a Wii U yet (or even a 3DS, for that matter). I'm still trying to finish off some Wii games I haven't gotten around to yet.

At first I thought it was a suit that you wear, but a toy robot isn't that bad an idea.

You think they're going to try to make this series more accessible to newcomers, a series that was ALWAYS for kids to begin with? This series couldn't be more "accessible" if it tried. And it's not like they need to attract more fans. Pokemon is already popular as all hell.

If Capcom had made this themselves, it would have been pretty cool. But if the best they could muster for Mega Man's 25th was to simply put up a fan-made game, well that's just kind of...sad.

I honestly don't care if the Wii U doesn't get super strong third-party support. I'm getting a Wii U for the same reason I get all my Nintendo systems: So I can play Nintendo's superb first-party franchises, and the OCCASIONAL third-party gem.
