It's time once again to build our hype for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS ahead of its 2014 (hopefully) release. Masahiro Sakurai, as normal, used the Smash Bros. Director's Room on Miiverse to share five new images last week; all to tantalise us further.

It was a week without any new character or stage reveals, though this collection does include a 3DS screen once again. Peach is the most frequent star, with Olimar making a welcome return after a bit of an absence; Sakurai-san also shows us a corridor that's normally out of view in the Metroid: Other M Pyrosphere stage, presumably just because he can.

There are some nice images to gaze upon this week, so scan your eyeballs downward to check them out — click on the date headings to see the original Miiverse posts.
