I got to play this over the weekend, I liked it, would recommend it for people who haven't bought it, but I wouldn't buy it again, as I have it on PS3 already.
I doubt this would have happened had Jerry not played Mario Kart in a later commercial.
Also, it'd be interesting to see whether in the contract it states that he can't appear in any other ads other than Sony, or just competitors' products. I got the notion that it was the latter, meaning it would more than likely be ok to appear in a Bridgestone ad, as last time I checked, Bridgestone has never affected sales of Sony products.
@MadAussieBloke I can only afford 60 a month and I have no phone line, so mobile broadband is my only option. And where I live, Virgin, Optus and Vodafone only work properly at certain times of the day, it's truly frustrating!
At least the 8 gigs I get only slows down once I hit the limit.
Trust me, in 2 years when I get a teaching job, the first thing I'll be getting is that T-Box
@MadAussieBloke I can always trust you to make me squirt milo through my nose after reading over a hundred people being serious
@WhiteKnight I don't pretend to know contract law, I merely think it's safe to assume there would have been a contract in place somewhere, I'm surprised there aren't more who think that, but keep in mind there was a time I used to defend Nintendo for everything back in my high school days, so I can see how some of these opinions are formed
While they have a point, what actually happens inside a Pokeball has never been addressed.
Unless you refer to Robot Chicken, where Pikachu gets to sit in his own personal nightclub with the ladies!
Though when you watch the series, the main point of the show is to show respect to your Pokemon and work with them, it's a theme I really like as I don't enjoy cruelty to animals, and a theme I instil in my children.
@FonistofCruxis: I unfortunately didn't get to play enough battles to get to the point where I earned any exp. so I can't answer it unfortunately. I have heard the same as what you've heard though.
@FonistofCruxis: You do only have a limited amount of stickers, but by the time I reached the first battle I had around 40 of them, and I only needed 2 to beat the Goombas, so it probably won't be a huge issue later on.
EDIT: It's nowhere near as bad as say, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories' card system.
I do wonder what was in Jerry Lambert's contract with Sony, if he's got a clause which disallows him from advertising the competition in any way then he's in trouble.
@Dodger: Yeah he was told by a friend to crash the interview, which was something he thought he'd never do as he thought it would be rude.
I've seen the question asked a lot in other interviews, so I asked him questions I couldn't find the answer of in other interviews with him hope you liked it!
@MadAussieBloke and @Aviator: Thanks for the positive feedback guys!
@Jayden: It was a Media/VIP night, so anyone who was there on the night was bound to be from another publication, even yours Thanks for joining the NLife community! Also, your link doesn't work.
@Neram: He totally was an incredibly down to earth person, he is open to answering just about anything you can throw at him (in the allocated time of course!) And everytime he said "Wahoo!" or "Yipee!" or something similar in his answers was in Mario's voice too
I got a hands-on with it last night, I felt the additions of the squirrel suit and the baby Yoshi's felt like both a throw-back and fresh breath of life all at the same time.
Also, even though it's in 720p, I've never seen a Mario game look so.... WOW!
I think this kinda DLC is ok, though I would have liked it more if you could play it NOT in Coin Rush Mode.
There's two kinds of DLC that annoy me though. When they ask you to pay a quarter of the game's original price for a small piecer of game (ie. The Force Unleashed), or when they ask you to pay 2-7 bucks for a new skin for your character.
I liked it when all we had to do was find all the hidden items to unlock skins, instead of just paying for them!
@Kid3dizzy: I'm approaching this as if you're not trolling, before everyone accuses you of it.
That's an old Game & Watch game system that us oldies used to play in the 80's . Some had one screen, and some had two screens, you could say double screens have always been in the back of handheld designers minds for years before the DS ever came out!
EDIT: That particular Game & Watch is Donkey Kong 3 I believe.
I think a lot of people here should be aware that "spiritual successor" means it won't be a Banjo Kazooie game. It will be something similar to it. Perhaps with a Diddy Kong Racing character that Microsoft nor Nintendo might actually have rights to such as Bumper or that tiger guy. hell, even Drumsti k would make a cool game.
But seriously, the only thing I really would probably welcome on my Android from Nintendo that would make any lick of sense would be a Pokedex (as they removed the one I used to have from the Play Store). As I can't run the 3D Pokedex while playing Pokemon Black/White on the same 3DS.
I haven't blown on cartridges in over 15 years for this reason. All my old instruction booklets say never use alcohol, but I find if I use brass polish and then wipe that off with an alcoholic wipe, the cartridge works like new again, and works for a long time.
I have both a PS3 and a Vita, but the purchase had nothing to do with cross-controller functionality, the fact that very few games support it, and I'm willing to bet very few games in the future will support the feature too (unless it's Sony developed).

In case anyone is wondering, Just Dance 4 is definitely fun for the family.
That's my daughter in the second photo

Re: Reggie: Time Spent on Rival Devices is a Missed Opportunity For Nintendo
I have painful troubles surfing the web on both the 3DS and tablets, seriously, filling out forms on a touch screen is awful.
I have a notebook, and a 3DS, I don't need a tablet (despite that Waltz might have seen me using one at the Expo if he saw me in the media room, lol)
Re: Capcom Responds To The Lack Of Mega Man On 3DS
Oh Capcom, you be trolling!
Re: Developer Interview: Frozenbyte Talks Trine 2, Wii U eShop and Working with Nintendo
I already have it for free on Playstation Plus, but hopefully Nintendo can remain this aggressive with their pursuit for indies.
Would really love to see some Rock of Ages, Braid, LIMBO and the Telltale Adventures (come to think of it, the Telltale games would work REALLY WELL)

Re: Reggie: Time Spent on Rival Devices is a Missed Opportunity For Nintendo
The only way I'd connect the WiiU to a TV is if I can connect it via my television aerial ala PlayTV on the PS3.
I only get to download 8gig a month, so any streaming services are lost on me.

Re: Interview: Charles Martinet, The Voice of Mario
@Everybody! Thanks for all the positive comments, I'm really glad you all enjoyed reading the interview!
Re: 3DS XL Circle Pad Pro Release Date Confirmed
I need to try it before I decide, it looks... well... yeah. Then again, I need a game that supports it anyway, lol.

Re: Reggie: Miiverse Will be a "True Killer Application" on Wii U
Come on already! Too much hype and I'll be disappointed just like I was with Lord of the Rings and Avatar!
Re: First Impressions: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate
I'm sure the final version will more than likely be fine, I love Castlevania games and I'm keeping a close eye on this one!

Re: Voice of Mario Was Inspired by a Shakespearean Character
I remember him telling this story on Australian TV (Good Game) a couple of years back, it was a good story!
Re: First Impressions: Wii U Pro Controller
I am seriously that used to controllers rumbling these days that I barely notice it anymore, so it's not a real issue for me.
Just need to know a price! It sounds like a must-have for me
Re: Feature: Lessons From a Gaming Expo
Hopefully it will be this nice next week at the EB Expo, where I will be presenting my own impressions!
Re: Sonic Racing Transformed Frame Rate Issues Have Been Solved
Fingers crossed this will be the new build they will show at the EB Expo, but i expect it will be the same as the one Thomas played

lolz HSC

I would support this more than any new Banjo Kazooie game from Microsoft.
Bring back the Stamper brothers already!

Re: Review: Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition (Wii)
On the fence with this one, I like the sound of the extras, but I already own all these games, so I just don't know, lol.

Re: Gears of War Creator Loves Nintendo, Will Be Watching Wii U Closely
I reckon we can see SOMETHING from him (obviously not Gears of War, however). Get us some Solar Winds or Jill of the Jungle reboots happening
Re: Forza Motorsport Was Originally Inspired By Pokémon
That's awesome, I love Pokemon, I love Forza!
Re: Nnooo Keen To Exploit Asymmetric Gameplay On Wii U
