Re: Bridgestone Responds to Sony's "Kevin Butler" Lawsuit

Chunky_Droid

I doubt this would have happened had Jerry not played Mario Kart in a later commercial.

Also, it'd be interesting to see whether in the contract it states that he can't appear in any other ads other than Sony, or just competitors' products. I got the notion that it was the latter, meaning it would more than likely be ok to appear in a Bridgestone ad, as last time I checked, Bridgestone has never affected sales of Sony products.

Re: Reggie: Time Spent on Rival Devices is a Missed Opportunity For Nintendo

@MadAussieBloke I can only afford 60 a month and I have no phone line, so mobile broadband is my only option. And where I live, Virgin, Optus and Vodafone only work properly at certain times of the day, it's truly frustrating!

At least the 8 gigs I get only slows down once I hit the limit.

Trust me, in 2 years when I get a teaching job, the first thing I'll be getting is that T-Box

Re: Kevin Butler Actor Seen Near Wii Console... Sony Takes Him to Court

@MadAussieBloke I can always trust you to make me squirt milo through my nose after reading over a hundred people being serious

@WhiteKnight I don't pretend to know contract law, I merely think it's safe to assume there would have been a contract in place somewhere, I'm surprised there aren't more who think that, but keep in mind there was a time I used to defend Nintendo for everything back in my high school days, so I can see how some of these opinions are formed

Re: PETA Targets Pokémon Black & White 2 in Latest Campaign

While they have a point, what actually happens inside a Pokeball has never been addressed.

Unless you refer to Robot Chicken, where Pikachu gets to sit in his own personal nightclub with the ladies!

Though when you watch the series, the main point of the show is to show respect to your Pokemon and work with them, it's a theme I really like as I don't enjoy cruelty to animals, and a theme I instil in my children.

Re: First Impressions: Paper Mario Sticker Star

Chunky_Droid

@FonistofCruxis: You do only have a limited amount of stickers, but by the time I reached the first battle I had around 40 of them, and I only needed 2 to beat the Goombas, so it probably won't be a huge issue later on.

EDIT: It's nowhere near as bad as say, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories' card system.

Re: Interview: Charles Martinet, The Voice of Mario

Chunky_Droid

@Dodger: Yeah he was told by a friend to crash the interview, which was something he thought he'd never do as he thought it would be rude.

I've seen the question asked a lot in other interviews, so I asked him questions I couldn't find the answer of in other interviews with him hope you liked it!

@MadAussieBloke and @Aviator: Thanks for the positive feedback guys!

@Jayden: It was a Media/VIP night, so anyone who was there on the night was bound to be from another publication, even yours Thanks for joining the NLife community! Also, your link doesn't work.

@Neram: He totally was an incredibly down to earth person, he is open to answering just about anything you can throw at him (in the allocated time of course!) And everytime he said "Wahoo!" or "Yipee!" or something similar in his answers was in Mario's voice too

Re: Talking Point: The Possibilities of New Super Mario Bros. 2 DLC

Chunky_Droid

I think this kinda DLC is ok, though I would have liked it more if you could play it NOT in Coin Rush Mode.

There's two kinds of DLC that annoy me though. When they ask you to pay a quarter of the game's original price for a small piecer of game (ie. The Force Unleashed), or when they ask you to pay 2-7 bucks for a new skin for your character.

I liked it when all we had to do was find all the hidden items to unlock skins, instead of just paying for them!

@Kid3dizzy: I'm approaching this as if you're not trolling, before everyone accuses you of it.

That's an old Game & Watch game system that us oldies used to play in the 80's . Some had one screen, and some had two screens, you could say double screens have always been in the back of handheld designers minds for years before the DS ever came out!

EDIT: That particular Game & Watch is Donkey Kong 3 I believe.

Re: Sony: Wii U Offering "Something That Vita and PS3 can do Quite Easily"

Chunky_Droid

I have both a PS3 and a Vita, but the purchase had nothing to do with cross-controller functionality, the fact that very few games support it, and I'm willing to bet very few games in the future will support the feature too (unless it's Sony developed).

This guy makes the PS3/Vita and Wii U sound like the same thing, to put it simply they're really not.
