Re: Talking Point: The Challenges When Writing About Games

CerealKiller062

Nintendo Life has never come on as partison to the Nintendo company. From what I read here on daily basis it is a great site. I have always loved this site as it doesnt't compare to other consoles but rather to the experience to be had with a Nintendo game. Thank you for your great journalism, although reviews rarely infuence my buys, much like that recent review of Kirby's Air Ride, I didn't agree with it, but this shows you guys can review without partisan.

Re: Capcom: The Next Gen Doesn't Start With Wii U

CerealKiller062

See, I would accept that if the ds and psp and current 3ds and psvita would reflect on "inferior" tech. The ds was inferior to the psp, until it was updated to the dsi. But the ds sold well against the psp. The 3ds and psvita again, 3ds is technologically inferior, the psvita is a ps3 in your hands, but is not selling enough to beat the 3ds. Wii had a solid release and catered to everyone, but the thing is, graphics won't get more real, it is impossible, so the next generation wlll rely on how you play, instead of how it looks.
Idk about everyone else, but I am waiting for the day Nintendo announces virtual reality, I know they will be the first

Re: Feature: Bizarre Emails Sent to Nintendo Life - Volume 5

The newer generation of gamers really does scare me to believe that they are a bunch of uncooperative noobs that will plague onlline furoms and cooperative online games. What ever happened to brothers in arms? Gamers used to stand united, now we are split between the 8-bit gamers (What I call the gamers since the atari and nes) and the newer HD only generation (14 years and younger IMO)

Re: Nintendo Determined to Beat Hackers with Wii U and 3DS

CerealKiller062

Hackers, not pirates though because some of them are stupid, are really, really, really, smart. They will find a way and this is just egging them on to try and hack the system faster. Keep the pirates out by not making it an obvious challenge, just randomly one day release an update that will forever make the 3DS unhackable.

Re: Wii U Will be a 'Great Value Proposition'

CerealKiller062

My feeling is around the $250-$300 selling point. They can't make the same mistakes that Sony did with the Playstation 3, (Starting Price $500) Also, they need to justify a pull away from current HD consoles, since you are still gonna pay extra for the same graphics. (Which any HD player really cares about) I just care about graphics now because, there have been no real good releases outside first party for the Wii, but now, now I am getting some great titles, because of the software lineup made possible by graphics kick up.

Re: Download Your Wii U Games Overnight

CerealKiller062

I know I have mentioned this in the past, call me a Steam fanboy, but I truely believe that they are the industry standard for a downloadable game store. If they do that whole, download your preorder before release and then get it unlocked on release day, or the luckyones get a special early unlock for preorders. I think if Nintendo mimicks as much as they can from Steam, I would give up the whole physical game thing and turn digital. But as it is for every game download store atm, they leave a lot to be desired...

Re: Talking Point: Why Wii U's Image Must Grab Attention

CerealKiller062

The American appliance cosmetic appearance has turned so bland over the last 5 years, that there is only a couple of things in my home that have a different color(colour) or color(colour) scheme (Gray, Silver, Black, White, Wood, Brick,) so it would make sense to make it in those kind of colors(colours). BTW American spelling of color vs European colour.

Re: Keiji Inafune Gives Rallying Call to Japanese Developers

CerealKiller062

I say if Nintendo wants to beat out the Call of Duty franchise, make a Metroid game that will really rock the socks off us "Westerners" with an amazing multiplayer. If Capcom wants to make a comeback, stop milking the Resident Evil franchise, or atleast make it a little bit scarier. If SquareEnix wants back with the "Western" audience, NO MORE SEQUALS! MAKE SOMETHING NEW OR YOUR NOT GETTING MY MONEY! Bring back more IP's, push for localization of games that didn't make it to the West before, make new IP's, I don't car, but if the West has not seen it, who knows if it wouldn't like it. America (notice I didn't say West) runs on contraversey. Risk some skin every now and then. Dont't assume, jsut take risks with the West. (Not just America)

Re: Indie Developer Phil Fish Says Japanese Games 'Suck'

CerealKiller062

@Nintendoftw We have Valve for the supper great engines, but your a little bit baised yourself. The FPS genre is just one giant rehash, the RPG has different kinds of elements for each game. They both rehash alot, but each has its own appeal. But Japan does not only out put rpgs as America does not only release fps. You being stuck to those two then your opinion is not fully formed as you lack evidence from other genres.

Re: SEGA AM2's First 3DS Project is Not Virtua Fighter

CerealKiller062

I love the difference in culture, and how half the people don't know WHAT Hatsune Miku is. Sure it sounds like a name but research it a bit. You'll get where I'm comming from. You should also find the reason why localization is impossible. (Mostly female oriented game btw) I personally like the games, but it is more like a guilty pleasure.

Re: Nintendo Europe Holds its Own Nintendo Direct

CerealKiller062

My japanese is well enough to make it out what they are saying. Of coarse any complicated game name and I won't understand. I guess I will stick with the localized version. Darn it, 9AM EST, I have a 9 to 5 to get to. I'll be watching a highlight video afterwards instead.

Re: Rumour: Japanese Developers Moving from Vita to 3DS

CerealKiller062

I think I might delay my purchase of PSVita if this comes about. Maybe wait for a price drop, Sony isn't as generous to first gen buyers as nintendo. I saw this with the PSP, PS3, PS2, and PSX, it changes the compatability and will annulate the older generation console, such as a first generation psp with lower ram, games released more recently won't play on it. The PS3 first generation system will not update for play on PSN, etc. Nintendo tends not to do this too much, only losing some compatability. Well till further notice my Vita fund has become my Wii U fund.

Re: Talking Point: Wii U and the Future of the Online Pass

CerealKiller062

@Luigi78 You are fighting for the wrong side. As a consumer you have to fight to get products CHEAPER and of BETTER QUALITY. The motto of big bussiness is MAXIMISE PROFIT even at the cost of QUALITY. The consumer should not the defend the providor for raising prices, the consumer should fight price increases and the injustice that corporations place upon the people.

Re: Talking Point: Wii U and the Future of the Online Pass

CerealKiller062

This is the kind of article that makes want to slap anyone who tries to defend companies because they do this because they need to regain money. Look at the movie and music industry. Both these industry respectively pay a lot more in order to have thier products pushed forward to the open market, for less than a fraction of the price offered to us by the Interactive industries.(Movie=$20 Music=$.99 Video Games= $60-$70) I must also include that both of these industries suffer from the highest amount of piracy among any other industry. I for one don't like that people support these sky high prices this is theft on their part. I honestly think it's cycle that can be broken. I think we need another video game market crash.
