Just get 1/2 Reload and Ultra Despair Girls. You can likely get those three for pretty darn cheap if you shop around and you won't have to deal with dumb microtransactions or have to pay more for V3 which isn't worth playing.

I wasn't going to buy Decadence anyway because V3 is appalling and they omitted Ultra Despair Girls for no reason but this can now definitely go &?!# itself.

Yeah, I totally get that.
I feel like the service is going to be great for some and useless and insulting for others. For me, I have a lot of the N64 games that's going to be included in this "expansion pack" but they have dead batteries in the cartridges so this will be a fantastic way for me to replay things like Ocarina.

Everyone's situation is different and some people will think it's worth it and others won't and certainly, for the people who don't, its increased price tag should be scrutinized.

Then those people could just wait until more games they wanted got added before subbing.

But they're not taking away the subscription price that already exists nor the content that comes with it. This is literally just extra stuff you can get with a bit more money in your subscription. They're not getting rid of the current subscription types.

NSO was already cheap as heck, I think a price hike is fine and even then the other tiers aren't disappearing. This isn't like when PS Plus went up £10 and didn't any room to manoeuvre on what you wanted from the service.

I'm kinda shocked how much of a negative reaction people are having to this development.

I've been wanting to play Dying Light for years and just never got around to it. Very pleased I can have the Switch be my first time with the game. Really bummed that I'm forced to play 2 on something else if I want to play the sequel though. Cloud games frickin suck. Internet still has about 5 to 10 years before cloud gaming would even be slightly usable. That and cloud will never be faster than everything natively going through cables in your TV/Console setup. Sad.

@Rayquaza2510 Rise will 100% have a G Rank expansion some time either next year or the year after that. Every game in the series apart from Stories and Stories 2 has had an Ultimate expansion. Rise will be no different.

Yeah, with how well World did, I would have been more surprised if it HAD stayed exclusive but the way Capcom announced this was dumb.

Even if ONE person says: "I have a PC and Switch but now I know that Rise is coming to PC, I'll just wait" it was a bad business decision on Capcom's part to announce it for PC THIS early.

The Monster Hunter series isn't exactly the most "heavy" game to run. Switch performance limitations is a moot point in MH's case.

Also, them prioritising PC over PS4 makes zero sense considering how well it performed on the latter.

Please take it from someone actually playing it right now. The story is very strong and the continuity is airtight. If you loved Persona 5, I'm bewildered why you wouldn't just try the game.

Monster Hunter is a downright magical series if it clicks. I easily put hundreds of hours into each installment. Gimme a holler if you get into Rise, I'm always looking to hunt with more folk.

I do think World was dumbed down crap but Iceborne was easily the best Ultimate expansion to the series. Its difficulty easily outclasses anything the earlier games threw at me. I imagine standard Rise will be pretty simple to blast through but it'll at least be fun to see the new mechanics and stuff and obviously to get prepped for the all but already announced Ultimate version of Rise. They might do an Iceborne and call it something different though. Hyped!

A bit annoyed that most of the goodies are digital only. It basically means I'd have to buy both the physical and digital versions of both the PS4 AND Switch versions to get everything. Also, the sexy steelbook being Best Buy only is nonsense.

Guys, if you insist that you need to play Persona 5 first and somehow haven't already: You can buy a good condition PS3 and a copy of Persona 5 for around $70. That isn't much more expensive than P5S is gunna be new. Your complaints are exactly the same as if any sequel to a franchise is on a different console (Like RE4 being on PS2 but RE5 being on PS3) if ya wanna play the prequel THAT bad just buy the console it's on. Not every sequel is gunna be on the prequels console. No-one's complaining that Age of Calamity isn't on Wii U. Same thing.
