Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Delayed To Spring 2023

I am a little disappointed about the delay. Anyone who was looking forward to it knew it would be a killer finish for the end of year lineup, but I guess Nintendo has to ride out on Scarlet and Violet. However, I want to play the game with the blessed experience N promises, and if that means the devs need more time (I wasn't expecting this after they reconfirmed the release date), take all the time you need. Finish it Suavemente

Re: The First Review For Kirby And The Forgotten Land Is Now In

I’ve been skeptical about buying the game because of the Kirby stereotypes. I’ve never owned a Kirby game, and I was seriously considering starting off on this game. It probably isn’t the best way to start, because Kirby is famously 2D. I don’t want to spend $10 for every hour and a half I play the game. I understand Kirby can be fun, but from a single player experience I don’t entirely know what this game has to offer for me

Re: Nintendo's Wii Shop Channel Can't Be Accessed Right Now

If this isn’t sus I don’t know what is. I really can’t think of a reason why people would try and break the Wiishop because you can’t really get out of it. I think it’s an internal issue on Nintendo’s part, or maybe this was on purpose, but not public

Re: Pokémon Is Airing A One-Hour Anime Special For The 25th Anniversary

XY was probably a really good anime. I feel they should have ended Ash’s run there with his stacked team and Greninja and just made Bonnie a protagonist or something. Instead, they ran out of ideas and if we don’t get the world coronation in canon code Pokémon games I will be upset.

XY special doesn’t feel special without Serena

Re: Microsoft And Sony Top Metacritic's 12th Annual Game Publisher Rankings, Nintendo Places 14th

I doubt a lot of people are happy with where Nintendo placed on the list, and some will think it’s well deserved, but the way I’m looking at it -
Nintendo had about five or six games, but the only core game was really Metroid Dread - you could make an argument for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which I played and still haven’t finished because I lost interest. Maybe that’s because my first core Pokémon game was Moon, but I still feel strongly BDSP didn’t perform as well as it could have. In the comments, I haven’t seen too much of BDSP but I think it could’ve hurt Nintendo’s score, along with their party games. Highly doubt a Mario Golf will ever perform as well as, say, 3D World. You have to take into consideration the lack of mainline games, which are generally well received and worked on longer and cared for and nurtured by Nintendo. But next year is chock full of first party core games like Splatoon, and there’s just lots of hype in general, especially around E3, and that leads me to believe Nintendo will perform so much better this year

Re: Feature: Our Predictions For The February 2022 Nintendo Direct

Everyone is coming up with so many first parties and third party games. I feel that, despite the Switch's flaws, it truly has become a masterpiece of gaming. When sometime (within the next 80 years, apparently) they do move on to new hardware, they have to make it backwards compatible. There'd just be too much to leave behind, and if they keep porting the older games over through NSO, they'll have to carry that over as well. I don't think Nintendo will be able to fully part from the Switch for a very long time.

Re: Nintendo Direct To Air Tomorrow, Wednesday 9th February 2022

I doubt we are getting any of the obscure games we've heard anything about if they are focusing on the "first half" of 2022 unless we get a stealth release. Nintendo doesn't really have a lot of upcoming games that have confirmed release years and not dates. I think we will probably look at DLC, Kirby, maybe some more anniversary things, maybe a Donkey Kong announcement, and Splatoon 3, if the leak about it coming in March was true.

@The-Chosen-one I really miss Smash reveals too. Man, those were my favorite parts of the directs - just starting off with a big bang, and then moving on to other reveals.

I bet there's going to be some stealth release or other. We are getting the direct on a Wednesday (It may always have been on Wednesdays, I don't know) while the eshop is usually updated on Thursdays. Wouldn't it be really cool if they just revealed the name for the BotW Sequel and released it the next day? Maybe that's how that 4chan leak came about.
