@RasandeRose my original reply was about the 30 FPS lock. I never mentioned the dips. Hardware limitations prevents this game from being 60 FPS. No amount of patches will fix that. Now fixing the dips at 30 FPS of course can be worked out by patches.

@Imerion doubt that. If they could get this game to run 60 FPS they would’ve already done so before the game launched. This is why the game got such poor reviews. Switch players are in a big disadvantage over console/pc players because of that. The resolution is already low. 30 FPS is as good as it gets. It’s still impressive that they got the game on the switch in the first place.

I miss the classics. Newer Pokémon games lost their touch

@blindsquarel well for Nintendo to stay relevant with the PS5 and the new Xbox they need to have hardware that can come close. 30 FPS and lower is inexcusable in this day and age. I don’t mean to sound like an elitist but Nintendo can do a better job in the hardware department

Depends what games. Indie games are usually better on the Switch due to portability. But big games like Doom and Skyrim are cheaper and better on other systems.

It’s like Altus loves to troll. They already know what people want. PS5 Royal and Persona 4 Golden possibly Persona 3.

I agree. 5 years is a lot of time for a hardware. In order for Nintendo to stay relevant in the hardware space, they need to compete with Sony and Microsoft in terms of third party support. The next gen consoles play games in 60 FPS and even higher. It’s inexcusable that we still got games that barely hit 30 FPS on the Switch. I feel like hardcore Nintendo fans don’t want an upgrade.

Could care less about third party games. Those are usually better on other systems anyways. People mainly get the switch for Nintendo first party games. Now if Nintendo made some of their games exclusive to the rumored pro, then that’s a different story

These kind of articles are always funny to me. Majority of Switch owners have another system so we are not really missing out on anything. As long as Nintendo keeps up the first party games and we have exclusives like Asteral Chains and others, this system will still compete with the big boys.

Not surprised from gamers now a days. Gamers act like babies when they don’t get something. That’s like me going to God of War and putting a negative review just because it’s a PlayStation exclusive. Pathetic

There is also a reason EA prefers their games on other consoles. People are dumb enough to buy the constant micro transactions they have invested in those games.

That’s funny. I choose not to purchase any EA games at all and I own all platforms. And they wonder why they have the worst image in the gaming industry.

I honestly believe that Nintendo has no fix for this. That’s why they didn’t knowledge it even though so many people have this issue.

Another over priced ports coming to the Switch that cost 5 bucks on other systems. I love my Nintendo Switch but I’m sick of these over priced ports

Nintendo is in 2019 and can’t figure out how to do cloud saves. Every system got it down except them

Why would they still call it Switch? They removed the feature that gave it that name

It should’ve had a option where you can connect it to a TV. Maybe buy the dock separately to keep the price down or have it connect to the existing Switch dock. Playing games like BoTW on a small screen is a waste

It’s really getting out of hands. I mean it’s cool for the people that never played ports on the other systems but for people like me, I have Skyrim and Doom on PC. I am not spending 60 dollar per game to play them again especially with downgraded graphics. I want to see original IPs made especially for the Switch not just Nintendo first party games.

I like what they are doing but I’m sick of the constant ports we are getting for the Switch. It’s mostly games that been out of other systems with a increased retail price. I want developers to release more original games for the Switch just how Platinum Games did with Asteral Chains

@Yorumi You didn’t get my point. The point of Pokemon is to catch and train so they can become powerful. I always hated the idea the somebody can transfer so many Pokemon from other games and be ahead of the average gamer. Maybe now people can give these new Pokémon a chance and they shine more

@AndreaF96 my point perfectly applies. You don’t know what Pokemon are coming back. I’m pretty sure Pikachu is in every Pokemon game. I’m talking about the people that have the same Pokemon and use them for online battles. It would be a breath of fresh air to see different Pokemon in the mix

About time if you asked me. Don’t you people get tired of using the same Pokémon’s over and over every game? I’m actually glad this is happening

Perfectly fine with it. Seems to me only hardcore Pokemon players are upset with. The average player is going to beat the game and not play it as much after that so having that much Pokémon that they possibly don’t even have from other games doesn’t pertain to them. But I can see this being added in the future

I feel like Altus just lost sales on this game before it even came out. You disappointed the people that wanted a port and in return they are not going to support this game. Atlus should’ve came out and said Persona 5 is not coming to Switch from the beginning.
