Grab some sonic satisfaction

Wii platformer Sonic Colours (or Sonic Colors, if you prefer) was praised for its soundtrack, and iTunes users will be able to download the game's audio stylings across North America, Europe and Japan from January 26th.

At $1.29 / £0.99 a track it's likely to mount up, with 82 tracks spread across three discs, but you can download individual discs for $9.99 / £7.99 each. Both vocal themes are in place, as well as boss themes, stage tunes and plenty more.

Warning: the tracklisting may contain spoilers so if you haven't finished the game you have been warned.

Vivid Sound x Hybrid Colors, the Sonic Colours original soundtrack, is available now in North America and should be up in other territories shortly.

The Complete Sonic Colors™ Original Soundtrack “Vivid Sound x Hybrid Colors” available for digital download!

“Vivid Sound x Hybrid Colors”, the Sonic Colors original soundtrack, will be available to download via digital distribution on the Apple iTunes Store in North America, EU & Japan from January 26th 2011.

This album features all 82 tracks from the game, including the opening theme “Reach For The Stars” with vocals by Cash Cash, a pop-rock band from New Jersey, USA, and “Speak With Your Heart”, the distinctive ending theme.

Orchestral themes recorded in Amsterdam and in-game music are also featured, showcasing an exciting hybrid of analog and electronic tracks.

“Vivid Sound x Hybrid Colors” allows the listener to enjoy music tracks which illustrate the speed and colorful sound reminiscent of the “Color Power” action from the game.

The music for both phase 1 and phase 2 of the final boss are two of the most epic boss themes I'v ever heard and I like phase 1 a little bit more.

Neat! I've got the game, and while the whole soundtrack rocks, I would have to recommend at least getting the first acts of Tropical Resort and Planet Wisp, and any act in Asteroid Coaster. I'm not a huge fan of "Reach for the Stars", personally. It's one of those songs that I like less just for the lyrics. :P

BA. Now I can listen to Aquarium Park, Asteroid Coaster, and Final Boss Phase 2 all I want.

And while I rather like Reach For the Stars, Speak With Your Heart kinda creeps me out....:|

Sonic Colors has some amazing music in it - particularly the Planet Wisp Zone and the Aqua Park Zone. By far, the best part though are the "Sonic Simulator" levels - the co-op portion? (although you can play it in single player, and need to complete those levels to get chaos emeralds). All those Sonic Sim levels use chiptune remixes of the main zone themes, and they sound fantastic AND nostalgic.

I hate iTunes though, and Apple in general. So I hope Amazon MP3 gets this soon.

Good that they'll get something more for their bang up job. I already downloaded some tracks that were ripped beforehand.

30 $? Didn't one of the first songs seem like a spin off of dancing with yourself?
