"One thing to consider about the people who signed up for our waiting list is that they had no financial commitment to do so. So it is possible that they purchased their Wii U from another retailer."
Well, WayForward are the masters of 2D sprite-based games after all. If there's anyone I would trust to make a classic-feeling Metroid with a new twist or two, it's them.
Aw man, I had my heart set on not getting this, as I already spent money on 3 NSMB games and didn't want more and more of something I already had, but these new additions sound really nifty. Maybe sometime down the road...
Haha, it sounds almost like Flick Rush from KH3D expanded into a full game. Cool for those Japan people, iirc Dragon Ball Heroes is one of the more popular card games there at the moment.
No Tekken for me, but two or three Tales characters would be kinda cool and fit well enough, imo. I don't even want to know what kind of licensing hell would have to be experienced in order for them to put anything Gundam-related in, though.
Congrats and farewell to James who seems to have really snagged a nice job there. Working for the big guys. We'll miss you! Also, congrats to Damien, good luck with the the site, man!
Will probably grab Mario Tennis for a nostalgia shot, at least then it won't have my ridiculously overpowered GBC character carried over. That guy was just unfair.
Eh, I've always considered Triple Trouble the best Game Gear Sonic anyway. Sonic 2 Game Gear was just way too unfair in the level design department for me.
It's really sad when a fanbase is so bad that a higher-up has to point this out. But, this is a problem with any long-lasting fanbase. It's doing what you can to support the company even through the disappointments, and focusing on the positive, that determines your future experience, imo.
Great! Hopefully this'll ease the load on Sakurai a bit, he's probably being worked ragged to get the project going. Would be cool if there was a few Namco guest characters in there, too, I would love to have some Tales in my Smash Bros.
