Wii-mote + nunchuck I like having the jump mapped to c so that I can easily jump and still use a and b attacks without having to quickly move my thumb over. Makes it much easier to charge a super scope and jump around with it.

GameCube - feels like Melee, but just a dual-function B button for Final Smashes and that's it! Wii-mote/Nunchuk - when I finally got Brawl for myself, I stuck to this method because the Wii-mote alone wouldn't cut it.
GC controller is supposed to be the best option for brawl and its even the controller of choice for the game's creator (as an intervw in ONM revealed). However, I prefer wiimote and nunchuck
I use the Gamecube controller whenever I can. If I don't have access to one, I do Wii Remote + Nunchuck
Funny one time when my cousin came over to my house (we pretty much play brawl day and night) i didn't have any gamecube controllers at the moment! Forced 2 whole days without a GCN controller was hard.
I would of said the Gamecube controller, but i really love the Wii Remote on its side 'NES style' alot more. Yet I cant stand the Wii Remote and nunchuck combo...
I've been playing Melee before it, but I use the Wiimote and Nunchuck rather than a 'Cube controller. I like how you can set it so you can shake the controller to perform a smash attack.
I'm pretty okay.

Wait, quotes should be meaningful? Ugh, fine.

Gamecube all the way, shielding is too hard on the other schemes, and gcube has 3 taunts! Its only because the controls carry over from melee, that now i cannot use any other controller
