I feel like the only way I will ever invest in any Amiibos, is if they released a Disney Inifinity/Skylanders type game, where we actually get to explore certain worlds, and things of that nature. I don't play Smash enough to warrant a purchase really, which is a shame.

As a Gremlins fan, I really loved the Mogwai bit. As for I <3 Virtual Console, I think this is a great series and that you guys pro-actively release a ton of videos. The VC is one of my favorite things about the Wii/Wii U, so can't wait for you guys to post more!

@aaronsullivan Thats what I thought when I played the demo at Best Buy. "Oh this is so repetitive and boring!" However, the Zelda fanboy in me decided to pick it up anyways a few days after release. Bets choice I have made in a while. The demo was boring since it was just the first level. Once you get into the meat of the game with the scenarios getting much more difficult, unlocking cool combo's/upgrading characters, and playing through Adventure Mode...Hyrule Warriors is a must have.

I love physical copies, but I just wish we knew in advance that the digital releases were getting a physical version. I bought NES Remix as soon as it was available after the initial Nintendo Direct, and I have yet to buy NES Remix 2 (since I want to gold border every or at least most of the games). So essentially I could buy the physical release, but it just seems counter intuitive and a waste of $15 extra bucks. So ideally, in the future it would be great to hear about these physical releases a lot earlier so we can decide which we want to purchase.

Great to see we got Minish Cap. However, seeing as I have a backlog of games (especially virtual console) and still having a blast with MK8, I don't see myself picking it up for some time. Just glad I know it's on there now, so I can add it to my wishlist!

This is going to be an excruciating wait till May 30th. This and Smash are THE reasons I bought a Wii U. Everything I have bought till now has been filler (even if they have been quite good games). Also I pre-ordered at Target so I got a Mario Kart key chain, so everytime I go for a drive I am reminded that this beautiful gem is RIGHT around the corner. Can't wait to see a lot of you on the track. Speaking of, here is my NNID if you have not added me, so we can play: Suburban_Sensei

Ducktales: Remastered for $7.49 is a steal, I urge anybody who was on the fence about it to just pick it up if you enjoyed the original or just like good platformers. Even at $15, I never regretted downloading the game! As far as what I am downloading this week, probably nothing until SMB 3, Yoshi's Island (GBA), and NES Remix 2 over the next couple weeks. I just did the Target buy 2 get 1 free sale, got Bravely Default, Prof. Layton & the Azran Legacy, and Yoshi's New Island, so I have been showing my 3DS some love.

I don't care where we see them, i'm just glad some of my favorite GBA titles are now available. I feel like more times than not, I will just be playing them on the gamepad, since it actually looked like an oversized GBA. The titles they are launching the first month are amazing, I can think of 2-3 I know I will be buying.

I love the original Yoshi's Island, and love mostly anything Nintendo. For some reason though, this game just doesn't seem as appealing. Maybe it's just been the talk of it being easier, and from the gameplay footage it does look a little more boring...I just hope after its released that my doubts are proven wrong, because I want to feel nostalgic about the original. Thats WHY I am a Nintendo fan, really.

That was fun to watch, it's getting me excited for Friday. This is the first time in a long time I have been eagerly awaiting a game. I am just so afraid of spoiling too many levels, so I think after this, I am done, I don't want to see ANYMORE levels!

suburban_sensei commented on Talking Point: The Watch_Dogs Wii U Delay Demo...:

My stand on "no 3rd party support" for the Wii U is this...I don't have the time I used to to play games, so to be honest I pretty much stick to mainly the Nintendo franchises. I do this because a) I'm a long-time fan, of course and b) I know it will be quality. I work two jobs and go to college, so at the end of the day I would rather play a good, old-fashioned Nintendo game. I understand for people with more free time and have no other ways of playing those 3rd party games (PC or other consoles) may get upset by the fact it's getting little support. For me though, I don't mind, just hope the system doesn't have a small lifespan because of it...

Glad to see the 9/10, the game deserves it. Had this for the 360, and for somebody like me (born in '87, but more of a 90's kid.) this game is ideal. It was so good that, since I don't have my 360 anymore, I had been holding out on this release because I think the graphics and gameplay really lend themselves better to a portable/smaller screen experience.

I would kill for a Zelda lego set. Even though I am an adult, I really respect those huge lego sets (they are usually $2-300), and would proudly display them in my place. I love the Star Wars ones, and if they had a detailed Zelda set around that size/price, I would still pick it up.

May is good, and actually sooner than I thought we would get it...I expected mid-late summer. I feel like with DK Tropical Freeze and a few DS titles coming out, I am set on waiting a few more months, we all know the wait will be worth it!

I was one of those people unsure about the gamepad, but I find more and more I am loving it. I even use it more times than not with games that let you have different options (Wind Waker, for example) because I like having all my items/maps, etc. right there in front of me at all times. I am getting so tired of so much Nintendo news just freaking out over them losing money, maybe making poor business decisions. I think they are having a rough patch right now, but it will smooth out when AAA titles like Smash Bros and Mario Kart come out.

2014 looks like its off to a great start. In the coming months I have my mind set on picking up Yoshi's New Island, DK: Tropical Freeze, and Kirby Triple Deluxe. After that AAA titles like Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros (Maybe both versions, for good measure) will be next on my list!

Good to see they are at least getting somewhere. Sure it is a minor annoyance, since I have an eshop card coming in today, but I have plenty to play. Got WW HD and Asassins Creed IV for Christmas, on top of all the games I bought recently, so just hope Nintendo sorts it out sooner rather than later.

Nothing for me from that list, but I will be picking up NES Remix this weekend. We still have a little time left in the year (what 2 weeks?) so perhaps we will still see SMB3 before 2014 arrives. I doubt we will get Link to the Past anytime soon, so I'll just stop holding my breath and enjoy Link Between Worlds.

Great review. I have $5 in my eShop wallet, so I think I will add another $10 and try this puppy out. As a gamer who grew up on the NES and SNES this looks down my alley. Just have to be patient and wait for Sunday when I get home from the in-laws.
