It's a remake of the original title, not a new title. You should have paid more attention to the show, which is still going on, than going on to a Wii U forum to talk about Sony's mediocre show.
EDIT: PS4 doesn't seem able to run Arkham Knight without crushing. Guess I would have to go PC
Funny, I seem to remember you among others praising the wwhd for it being a new game. Also, sony just won with that last announcement
Really? I don't remember saying it was a new game. It did have GamePad features though. What last announcement? The last annoucement wasUC4 which we knew about.
So by your logic, nobody should be excited for Smash Bros. or Zelda.

Of course we should be. It's not like we've already heard about Smash through Nintendo Directs and weekly updates about characters.
Most of the people on the site would follow Nintendo if they jumped off a cliff so it's not worth talking about how Sony had a strong conference.
Have fun with your predictable Direct tomorrow.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Microsoft has games coming 2014-2015 which are a bit 'I suppose if you like shooters they're good.'
Sony has games coming in 2015 that look exciting, but are VERY thin on the ground bar Assassin's Cod and HD remakes.
I don't see me buying either system in 2014, and MAYBE a PS4 in 2015. I guess I'm not the only one to think that.
Isn't it obvious that Falco Lombardi is actually a parrot?
This biggest problem with Sony's conference is that every single highlight of the conference is multiplat. Their big opening was actually a game available even on last gen systems. Sony completely failed to prove why you want to get specifically a PS4.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
What baffles me is the fact that no one seems to realize that the Digital Event is just the beginning of Nintendo's E3 coverage. They've got the Smash Invitational and the Treehouse is where they're likely going WAY in depth on their information. Even if the Digital Event really is just 30 minutes long, they could use that for the big announcements and save the small stuff and in depth gameplay footage for the Treehouse stream that'll be going the entire time E3 is open.
I think people's concern is that 30 minutes mean very few big announcements. But pretty much every other major site allowed a hour for the conference.

Bitter much? I mean lets be honest here, Sony had a strong start and a strong end to their show. Most of the content however was filler, remake or multi-platform titles. The stuff that was new wasn't that unexpected.
Go and be happy about what you did see if you feel like it. Love your games on your PS4 just like the XBOne owners will do on their platform. Just please don't be shocked when people on a Nintendo fansite go "Mortal Kombat and Uncharted? Meh. Where's the JRPGs and party games? Or the platformers? Nintendo's won already because Zelda"

No they didn't. They opened with a game coming to last and current gen consoles that brings almost zero incentive to get a PS4. Then what looks like a flash game, then an underwhelming LBP3 demo.
The best part of the conference came about a third in when the new exclusives started to get revealed, but even then they completely failed to convey exactly what the games were and what they involved. In other words, they teased brand new IPs.

I enjoyed the Sony conference but I was rather shocked to not see a single announcement from SquareEnix. No Final Fantasy or anything. That would have been a big hitter. :c
If you honestly believe that Sony had a strong conference this year, then I think you're being at least a little biased. Objectively, it wasn't that strong. It was full of multiplats, remakes, and CG teasers.
Heck, I'm a Sony fanboy, have been since the 90s, and I thought that was mediocre. It gave me no reason to buy a PS4 and nothing new for my PS3 or Vita except Playstation Now, a rental service.
According to boogie2988's Francis-rant, apparently Sony spent like an hour talking about stuff the console can do or will do that isn't even related to gaming (like TV)? Not sure why they're copying MS's big mistake last year...
Aren't people growing tired of pretty much playing the same sh** and using the same controller that's been regurgitated since 1997 with tiny little alterations each generation?
Well to be fair, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I know you don't like the PS controller, but it's a popular enough build and layout that they probably risk alienating more fans than they would gain if they went back to the drawing board on it. Microsoft's controller has also remained pretty much the same for the last 10 or 12 years. Nintendo is the only one that has tried to reinvent the controller every generation, and few things in gaming have been met with such divisive opinions.
New peripherals are always cool, but I think Sony and Microsoft are on to something by keeping the in-the-box pad mostly the same each new generation.
@Waveboy no, I'm not tired of the controller, I love playstation controller they improve upon NIntendo SNES controller design and have kept improving upon that basic model, while Nintendo has tried to 'revolutionize' things with gimmicky controllers that are awesome for a couple of games but are never as good as the traditional Sony controller as general purpose controller. N64, great for Mario 64 yah but sucks for Street Fighter, Game Cube Great for SSB but sucks for Shooters, Wii Great for Wii Sports but again you really can't play fighting games with it, not even Nintendo's own SSB managed to work well with Wii Mote, Wii U finally a good controller that's as good as Sony's a general purpose device and better because the touchscreen opens new possibiities but again the screen is only good for a handful of games and the extra cost and reduced battery life are a turn off for those who want to play games that do not require the touch screen (again Nintendo's Own DK and SSB)

The Playstation controller is rubbish for fighting games. (Especially doing stuff like double half circle's).
“30fps Is Not a Good Artistic Decision, It's a Failure”
Freedom of the press is for those who happen to own one.
It's always fun watching the hardcore fans criticise other presentations.
"I don't care about this game anyway - it's terrible because..." > Conveniently for any game not coming to a Nintendo platform.
"They don't even have a new innovative controller!" > Based on the only advantage the Wii U has.
"They're all remakes/games in existing franchises!" > For when people forget that they're supporting Nintendo.
Its amazing how many people don't care about the exact games that aren't coming to the Wii U, and don't care about anything the Wii U cant do.
If I didn't know any better I'd say this is just all about the name of the company! /s
My opinion:
MS - Showed some interesting games but nothing surprised me
Sony - Showed some good looking games but nothing surprised or interested me
Nintendo - Will surprise me but I am not sure if it will be good or bad surprises.
