Topic: Games You Wish Didn't Skip Wii U

The situation surrrounding third party Wii U games at this moment is really Bad.At the beginning of the Wii U's life cycle, it showed great promises of third party games coming to the platform.Two years down the line and now we have the same situation as Nintendo has always had in the recent memories, Third Party Games.To be fair it actually got worse.At this point it is safe to say that every major third party AAA titles will be skipping Wii U.Most third Party Publishers have jumped ships and there is little to no chance at this point that this situation is going to change anytime soon.Unless Ofcourse a 3DS miracle happens.So lets see which games you are going to miss not being on the platform.For Me :

• Batman Arkham Knight : Wii U was actually the reason I got into the Arkham series in the first place, With Batman Arkham City I fell in love with the game.And after Arkham Origins I wanted more of it.And now I am so much into the series.But when news broke Arkham Knight was skipping Wii U, it made me real sad.As a result I will be getting a PS4 with the Arkham Knight.
• Kingdom Hearts III : Seriously who doesn't love this game? and a game like this in the Wii U would be a perfect match.So I don't really know what the developers have to say about skipping Wii U.
• FIFA : I am a football freak, and a FIFA addict.I have been playing FIFA forever and before that Pro Evolution Soccer.So I really wanted atleast the FIFA franchise not skipping Wii U (Desperately) I need a dose of FIFA on regularly and I seek it elsewhere which is PC.I want it on the Wii U.I so desperately wan't a football game on the Wii U that I would even switch back to Pro Evolution Soccer if it ever made it to the platform.
• Far Cry 4 : I really loved Far Cry 3 and would have loved to have it on the Wii U.I wasn't really expecting it to be on Wii U, but I had my fingers crossed.But the love story of Ubisoft and Wii U already had ended.So at the end of the day I was disappointed it didn't make it to the Wii U.
• Grand Theft Auto V : There was never really a chance that this title would come to Wii U IDK. But would make my dream come true if it did.

Destiny - even with all the "bad press" I still want this game.

None. I have more games on my Wii U than my Xbox One.

Even I would have loved it, had it been on the Wii U. But I wouldn't kill anybody for this

While I don't really care for much of the skipped games, would've been nice if we got Dead or Alive 5 Last Round. Though I doubt Team Ninja would make a Wii U Port which is a shame since I liked Dead or Alive Dimensions which was released on 3DS.

If the WiiU did have just as much 3rd party support as Ps4/XBO/PC I would still just get the games for either PC, Ps4 or XBO since they should run and look better on those systems, due to superior hardware.

That's the whole point of Third party/Multi platform, does it have to be mentioned.

Even Pikmin 3 probably can't run on PS4, because it's optimized for Wii U.

All the games you mentioned are on PC, so unless there's a game coming up that is crap with a mouse and keyboard, I don't see your reasoning.

New Batman Arkham & Injustice games are the top of my list as well as Deadpool & Marvel vs Capcom 3 but besides the superheo non-sense I'm into Super Meat Boy, Skullgirls, Tomb Raider, South Park & Resident Evil would be nice.

The thing is now my pc is already outdated.

Batman Arkham Knight and KH3 are the only once I really feel sad about not getting. Same goes for AC: Rogue, that we wouldn't get Unity okay but I had hope that we might get Rogue

Yeah I wasn't all that sure but even I had hoped that we'd get AC : Rogue.

GTA V would have been brilliant with the GamePad as the phone.

Far Cry 4 and Resident Evil Revelations 2 would be nice on Wii U.

But as someone said above, I prefer getting my 3rd party games on Sony, MS and/or PC(I'm still deciding on PS4, XB1 or Steam Machine as my secondary platform to supplement my Wii U). Because that's the main reason I get those consoles; there aren't too many Sony or MS exclusives that really interest me. I used my PS3 mainly for the big 3rd party titles that never went on Wii.

I agree with both. I and my brother even bought a PS3 just to play FIFA, and I looked forward to playing it on the Wii U one day...but as you know, that didn't happen (aside from 13, but I didn't have my Wii U yet back then). I'd also add Dark Souls II, inFamous: SS (but that is a PS4 exclusive so it would obviously never happen) and Ni No Kuni, which was only released on PS3 in Europe despite being originally developed as a 3DS game.

All the HD ports of older games(Nights into Dreams HD,Okami HD,Muramasa the demon blade-rebirth,etc.),Ultra Street Fighter IV and the console version of Sonic Generations.
