Fighting games. I'm a big fighting game fan and that is my one big issue with lack of support on the wiiu. Games like Resident evil are annoying but that game is going episodic anyway, which I'm not a fan of. Also Sports games...when the wii and 3ds are getting sports games but not the Wiiu... there is a problem with that. Granted I only play Fifa and NHL from time to time so my wish for those games are more to grow the playerbase than anything else.

The big AAA games with the impressive visuals I don't care about. You can get them on any platform and they play better on PC anyway. Some of the simpler more arcadey style releases? Ones where local-multi and the ability to play a 5min match on the GamePad are a big deal? Those I'd like to see on Wii U. Especially given that those are the games that I'm most interested in anyways. Although as of now I can't think of any particular games...
I'm more than happy with Smash and Kart filling that role

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"

Nah man actually many own just one console, many just go with one console a generation.Like myself.Last gen I went with the Xbox 360,Lucky ebough I had a good PC too and this gen I wen't with the Wii U.Now my PC is outdated to play any good games and I bought a Wii U for myself and with the abysmal 3rd party support going to buy a PS4 next year.So many people are not happy of the AAA games not coming to Wii U including myself.
None really, I have a more powerful PS4 because of that. I got the Wii U for Nintendo games and a few third-party games only on it and that use the gamepad (like Red Steel 2 did for the Wii motion Plus) and a few PS3 games that would use the gamepad well (like Arkham City) as a bounus, hoping for another Wii really.

That what I don't like about the games biz at the moment, arcade style games don't seem to be produced anymore at least not in a big way. I'd love to see a return of games like Crazy Taxi, Chu Chu Rocket etc at least there are indie games like Scram Kitty, Nano Neo Assault to keep me happy.
GTAV is the only one I actually wanted enough to know I would have bought it on Wii U. South Park would have been tempting and many games that could have used the gamepad should have been ported.
Other than that I am more disappointed by things like ZombiU not getting a sequel and the fact that the Wii U struggling means Nintendo will not be able to support it as well as they did the Wii. Had Wii U been a great success, Nintendo would probably still be entertaining the idea of expanding on motion controlled gaming.
I am also sure the games we are really missing out on have not been released yet. Next gen doesn't seem too impressive on a gameplay front but CoD will surely return to form at some point, as will EA, Capcom etc.. All of this would be missed but they're not such novel experiences as Nintendo games so I feel I would be missing far more by not having a Wii U
I only posted this to get my avatar as the forum's thumbnail.
Arkham Knight, Rise of the Tomb Raider, GTA 5, South Park, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Fifa and NHL.
Granted, I can easily get the last five on PS3. I'll have to wait to get a PS4 to play Arkham Knight and Tomb Raider (whenever the timed exclusive XB1 deal is up). It's nice having some variety.
A little bummed by Arkham Knight and the Tomb Raider reboots. Sort of wish Mass Effect Trilogy had been released instead of just Mass Effect 3 as I really liked the first two (actually fully completed the achievements on Xbox, and then played them again). I also wish that games like Sanctum 2 could find their way to Wii U.
All that said, I am not lacking from games to play and I have tried some that I wouldn't have otherwise have played (Pikmin 3).
Batman Arkham Knight and KH3 are the only once I really feel sad about not getting.
Revelations 2 as well. I don't usually get into "insert overhyped yearly game here" titles. I also don't jump at every new thing hoping for the next "big" thing.

At first I was excited about an Revelations 2 but when it turned out to be some episodic thing that excitement quickly simmered down. Still find it idiotic capcom isn't releasing this on the WiiU/3DS
Everything can change, but I'm never changing who I am
The Telltale Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us games would off been good for the Wii U. It is available for pretty much everything. PC,PS3,PS4,Vita,Mobile,Tablets,Xbox,Xbox One but no Wii U.
Astebreed / Transistor (I like both enough to buy them again. As long as they are perfect on console I would rather have them there)
Also the console version of Sonic Generations (Presuming it could be a perfect 60fps). The PC Version is buggy. (Not as bad as the 30fps console ones but not perfect).
For Nintendo's sake they should have really fought to get big triple a games on the wii u, and advertised them as the superior version of the game. I wouldn't personally buy them for the system with the huge lack of 3rd party support and crappy ports of games I think if Nintendo did this it would of helped them and helped get more 3rd party devs on board.
