With all the hack jobs going around PSN, Nintendo, Codemaster etc. my friends and I were talking about how they changed their online habits. Like for example my one friend no longer uses his real information when doing online stuff he said that he just uses his address but he puts down a different birthdate, name and a few other things. He also is now using a different password of every site.
So I was wondering have any of you changed your online habits?
For me I am just more careful of my passwords and I dont use my main credit card for purchases and what not. (I use a separate credit card for online activity that way if some one gets a hold of it theres not a bunch of money on it and if I cancel it its not going to cripple me from my everyday life).
Not really. I thought everybody knew to use a different password for every different site/profile anyway
Err... yeah. I mean, who doesn't?

I've been struggling enough just trying to get a decent connection that doesn't crap out on me after 20 minutes, so, no...

Yes. I can't even restrain myself I'm so paranoid. I literally went out of my way and cleaned the whole house, twice! If 9/11 was minimized into my head, then well that would be the best description I could give to you to whats going on up there. I can't believe this is happening! MY DOG!!!

My mum definitely has, she doesn't do anything online on any website unless it's secure and is a trusted website. However, she was like this way before the whole Sony and Nintendo thing.
Hackers rule the internet some what, nothing much you can do about that...
I'm pretty sure Microsoft has already hacked my computer... Seriously though, I'm not worrying about anything until it actually affects me...(and nothing hasn't...yet)

Yeah, I was hit by a pretty nasty virus, and yeah, I changed something. I changed my virus protection from McCrappy to something recommended by my computer expert buddy. I use the same password for anything that doesn't involve my personal information (address, credit card number, real name, etc...) I really don't see the point in making tons of different, super secure passwords for less important things (no offense) like serebii.net, nintendolife , and photobucket. When it comes to the important stuff like email, banking, and share holding, then I start to use different, more complicated passwords. I just thought I'd let you guys know that in case you wanted to hack my NL, serebii.net, and photobucket accounts.
