Topic: First Zelda game you've played?

I played the original Legend of Zelda (NES) on the VC service. Along with Zelda II, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Have also bought Twilight Princess (Wii) in December last year.

I don't remember. My cousin had LOZ: Collectors Edition on the cube and Wind Waker. I don't know which one we tried first.

But I was a little kid in the SNES days who really didn't know how to play deep games like Zelda, so I didn't get very far at all.

I played the original game first on VC. Then I played the DS games and a tad of Twilight Princess.

Ocarina

The very first Legend of Zelda game that I played was The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker right after it was released.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past on the Game Boy Advance back in December '02-January '03. I also played my cousins' SNES copy, but it couldn't save. Also the first (and only) Zelda title I've beaten yet.

My first Zelda game was Ocarina, 12 years ago back in in '98.

The Legend of Zelda, through Zelda Classic, a PC program that let's you play and create custom Zelda quests. Exact remakes of the first and second quests are implemented in the standard package. What I still don't get is why Nintendo hasn't put it down yet as it is freeware. Later on I actually bought the REAL game on VC.

It wasn't until 2006 that I really became a fan of the series. That was when I picked up a second-hand copy of the GBA version of A Link to the Past (and Four Swords), which kept me hooked. A few weeks later I picked up Link's Awakening as well as the Wind Waker/Ocarina of Time bundle and all loved them greatly. The Wind Waker was the one I beat first and it is also one of my favorites. But Ocarina is still the finest one of them all.

Later on I got the other games in the series as well.

The Legend of Zelda on NES was my first Zelda game. Completed it in a week and loved every dungeon!

I then got Zelda II and I got addicted to the franchise from there.

I've completed every single Zelda game to date. Just hope that Skyward Sword will be nice and hard (that's what she said).

First Zelda game I played was Link's Awakening, been hooked ever since.

Best game in the series of you ask me, fun, loads to do, looks fabulous still and a stunning technical achievement given that it's near identical in looks and gameplay to ALTTP.

Well, the first LoZ game was Ocarina of Time, but my favorite would have to be Wind Waker.
