Topic: Will we ever get a call of duty 3ds?

you guys just don't like fps, it sells, if not cod then battlefield, get over it. geez. you must only like japan oriented games. like i said i love japanese games but western too. so i would love an fps whether cod or anything lol k.

Considering that the Vita game was made in five months by an inexperienced studio, I don't think that's how a new game would be made. Declassified was made to be out for the holidays, not to be a quality experience.

However, Activision doesn't seem to have a positive outlook on portable gaming. They're putting their money and resources into consoles, and it shows.

From what I heard the DS version were generally good.

I hope they release one for the 3DS so I can get my brother interested in playing with my original 3DS.

Call of Duty would work with the system, too. It wouldn't sell it like the latest Mario would, but if Activision got a dedicated, reliable developer to work on it, it would definitely be noticed.

After seeing the absolute fail that was COD: Black OPs declassified was, I'm not sure I want to see it lol.

Probably not, sadly. n-Space is busy with other stuff I think, and Activision doesn't seem to be showing much interest in the platform.

I would see it work if a QUALITY developer was outsourcing a CoD port.

However, the 3DS is built very differently than other systems, so it's possible that companies, as a result of the craptastic economy we're in now, are skipping porting their games to the 3DS (for the most part).

In the meantime, I'll be religiously playing Mother 2 until I get more information about that series' future.

3DS doesn't need crappy COD ports. I and many other Nintendo fanboys didn't buy a 3DS for the likes of overrated fps games like COD, besides that's what home consoles are for.

You want a dumbed-down COD for handheld, get a Vita. If you want quality games stick with the 3DS..Simple as that.

I want it on 3DS, maybe more people will buy 3DS. Bass Monsta Lemme explain something. If CoD gets on 3DS, more people will buy it. If more people buy it, Ninty gets better 3rd party support. If Ninty gets better 3rd party support, that makes us all happier. You don't even have to buy it. Just because a game comes to 3DS doesn't mean you have to buy it. I didn't buy a 3DS for this, no, but others would. And if you're saying there isn't a single bad 3DS game or DL game on the eShop at his very moment, you are very mistaken.

Do you know just how much I hate fanboys? They're biased, and they hate everything that isn't what their "clan" worships. I'd like a first person shooter on the 3DS, because they're good for road trips or to just relax and have a bit of fun. If you haven't played a CoD game, or don't have a Xbox360/ PS3, then you can't possibly say that these things are horrible, because you've never experience either of the things.

Far worse than Fanboys are the herd-mentality, flock feeders that only buy and play what their "bros" are down with. It's only because you're on a site like this that the overwhelming cry is fanboy-ish. In general, it's the other way around. "Normal" gamers hate on Nintendo as a rule of thumb. So who's the one that really does hide behind their clan? The nerds who stick together because they all recognize and shun redundant, non-innovation... or the dorks who would die before they admit that they were looking through Pokedex 3D Pro on their 3DS? If it weren't for fanboys, the game industry would be dead.

Agreed so much. I for was looking forward to CODBO2 on the 3ds but then they nerver annouced it lol. The 3ds could use a good fps and COD would be a good canadite. You hate FPSs without reason when you do apply your reason often enough they are completely inacurate, (admittedly I have some fanboyism againest X-box 360 that used to be rediculous but has been toned down since, although I never went into hate mode on its games like halo fable ect. and it's nothing like the fanboyism you think of on the internet now.)

I detect fanboyism againest shooters and other action games here. The "Fanboys" are just as bad as the people you mentioned as I'm sure some of you are horrified at the idea of playing the "always same" "non inovative" "industry destroying" COD The industry doesn't need fanboy to surrvive, you can play both mario and COD. (while I don't really play either of those franchises aside from a couple rather old entries I have I am that type of gamer)

Could work I guess. Not my cup of joe though. although being a game heavily played online and having a short to no campaign I don't think it will do all that good.

But I do think we need a first person shooter, maybe a Bioshock, Turok, Doom kind of game.
