Was that the game for Wii that was similar to Super Smash Brothers? I never played it, but I recall reading about it in Nintendo Power lol I doubt I'd purchase a sequel, as money is tight for a poor student like me =( lol
I think I saw that in the back cover of a magazine once. It was made by the same people who made Smash Brothers, which would explain why it's similar. I think the general population received it as an "Eh."
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
It was a good game. Could've been much better with addition of more stages, more TMNT characters, and less Rabbids. (I could understand Ubisoft putting in one Rabbid as a special bonus characters, but adding 3 Rabbids in different costumes was both lazy and stupid counting they didn't even put in some of the most famous characters from TMNT like Bebop and Rocksteady)
A lot of people complained about it because of how similar many fighters were. Obviously there were little differences in the Turtle, and the bonus characters were mostly rabbids. Some people also complained because some characters from the TMNT cartoon we watched as a kid weren't in it though that was due to legal issue and who owns certain characters (The game was honored the comics more)
But I think there were many things about it that were better then Smash Bros, and online was one of them. Ubisoft could easily make this game for the 3DS and beat Nintendo to the punch for a fighting game like that and have good online. Even DLC characters. I'm assuming Smash Bros 3DS is 2 more likely 3 years away.
Someone liked that poorly made, Smash Bros. rip-off, fighting party game?
I rented that game and return it the same day. why would I play that if SSBB is so much better! I would have to be a classless oaf! in other words: That game is bad, and you should feel bad for liking it.
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
I enjoyed the game for what it was, and being a TMNT fan. I agree with the criticisms that it was clunky and many fighters were too similar, but hey if a sequel came out and they polished it a bit more, that could be a really great game.

I wish they would've based the game on the original turtles from the comics. You know, the super badass ones. Not the ones from the newer cartoon who were so different from each other or the 80's turtles who couldn't be taken seriously most if the time. Would've made the game 100x better.
TMNT Smash up promised to be a fighting game that brought together all of the most iconic characters from all the many different TMNT universes, favoring no particular canon. But that was a flat out lie. There was a clear bias for the newest TMNT cartoon from 4Kids TV. Were there any characters that didn't come from that show? Some random utrom that may or may not have been Krang?
No. We need characters from the original comics, the cheesy TV show from the 80's, the short lived live action series with Venus, the Archie comics, that freaky turtles anime, AND the newer cartoon.
After they gave us that new "Turtles Forever" movie, I don't think the idea of a much better crossover fighting game is too farfetched anymore. That show had characters from the new cartoon, the old one, and the original black and white turtles, and even Tokka and Razaar from the 2nd movie.
I don't always give myself signatures, but when I do, you just read it.

Have you even seen that show? It was my childhood. And there were NO original characters from the 4Kids show. They're all from the 2007 TMNT movie. Your argument is invalid
