I imagine that the game is significantly more fun to play with the CPP. The demo felt awful without it.

Yes, so far the script is full of hilarious memes and turns of phrase.

A female demon I just encountered speculated on what it would be like to have half-demon/half-human children after I told her I wanted to marry her. xD

Did anyone notice if you run out of MAG and try to use a healing area, the phrase is in Japanese?

Monster Hunter? Needing the CPP? Nope. At least you dont have to claw like on the PSP XD

Anyway I came back after playing it on the Wii and I found the controls are actually good. ( I messed around with the demo for like 5 minutes the first time , the things were a little weird at first (running into combos while not hitting the monster is annoying but its kinda where you have to stand wait and move, and observe the monster behavior which totally sucks underwater (DAMN PLEGISLOTH) (still dont like the great blade >_>) anyway I played it again a couple days ago and I had the rythym down in 10 minutes. Just gotta do it properly

I played the first 3 Hours of Soul Hackers and I really am trying Hard to like the game. The truth is I hate it so far. It's Ugly! The battles take too long and the story has been hard to follow so far. I am Just not enjoying the game so far. I'm going to give it a couple more hours if I cant enjoy the game I'm going to move on and start on Etrian Odyssey still in the shrink wrap. I really want to like the game but so Far it's a no go.

Seriously? Though honestly you probably should have started with SMT Strange Journey XD. Etrian oddyssey is wonderful. Make sure you pay attention to it from the get it will really improve the experience

Thanks I will. I beat the other 3 Etrian Odysseys and liked them alot. I really don't know what the deal is with Soul Hackers it seems to be a game right up my alley. I'm a huge fan of the old sega saturn RPG's like shining the Holy Ark which I consider to be one of the best RPG experiences of all time. I would flip out should sega ever remake that for 3ds. I would love to go through it again. Oh well. I usually like just about everything I play. Holy cow I liked Witch and Hero better than Soul Hackers now that's just sick lol. I better start Soul Hackers again and give it another go! Hee hee

I think we were both going in expecting Etrian Odyssey. This game moves too fast for my liking but I've changed my mind set now and its helping me to start to like it a whole lot more. I now realize its nothing like EO and ill take it for what it is and enjoy the story along with the deep combat system!

No two dungeon crawlers are alike. Etrian Odyssey and SMT are two different beasts entirely which is completely different from something else, say Unchained Blades(Snarky Dragon Protagonist?Hell to the yes)

I've never played an Etrian Odyssey game, nor a SMT game until this game. I'm enjoying it so far.

This needs to come to Europe. (preferably before 2056)

TURN OF EVENTS! I kept plugging away at this game. I still don't know what I'm doing LOL but. for anyone familiar with the game I found my way to the Captain last night. He fuses Demons for you and also asks you to do favors for him. An excellent turn of events and one that I enjoyed alot. So I was about ready to hang it up on this game and I'm glad I didn't. So I guess I would say if your having trouble like I did, Give the game a Chance to develope. You might just have a change of heart such as me. I'm looking forward to playing again after work tonight. Really funny my wife found me last night asleep with my 3DS still on sitting on my chest and Soul Hackers still running. We got a good laugh out of that this morning.

I'm really liking exploring the Warehouse Area it has a creapiness to it. The game is really getting good. I don't know but it looks like it's going to have a Bunch of venues to explore, and I like that

i thought Soul Hackers was 39.99 so if it 29.99 then it is on sale. Not sure if I should get it though as I am behind on Monster Hunter and Shin Megami is out in 2 weeks...

@MERG my opinion would be to wait. SMT IV will be the fresher experience. Soul Hackers isn't bad its just dated!

Okay...thanks for the advice. I think I'll do that...seeing that I'll also be getting M & L dream team in August (plus for the WiiU, Pikmin 3 and I also just got Tekken on sale from Amazon). Too many games, too much money...so little time.
