I bet if you give me a couple hours and some parts, I bet I could make that good-for-nothing charging cradle into portable charger. Then again, that would render it unreturnable, and it wouldn't be as convenient as a nintendo branded one. Make it happen nintendo. I don't give a crap if it needs batteries. Just make it happen.

i don't know whether it's possible to reduce the ghosting or not. it seems like the problem is that light gets too bright to be directed only to one eye and 'leaks' to the other. there are lots of devices with glasses free screens now, i wonder if they have the same problem.
Why not just buy a camera if you want to take pictures though? It's just meant to entertain you for a few minutes, nothing more.
if that were the case nintendo wouldn't still be adding new features to it, like the video update. if they were going to include the feature on the 3DS it should have at least been able to take semi-decent pictures. i really don't understand the point of going through all the aligning work in the manufacturing process just to end up with cameras too crappy to be used for anything. even for just gimmicky photos out of the box they don't work; my first reaction wasn't "wow, the 3D looks cool", but "wow, this really sucks!"

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
Bigger Screens and dual analog.I also think it should be more sleeker, especially the black, there's black and gray mixed all over the place,it's clunky.
When I imagine the 3DS redesign, I see a device with screens sized about one and a quarter times larger and positioned flush with the console's surface, the expected second Circle Pad in the lower right-hand corner, another pair of trigger buttons, (I'm a big fan of the Gamecube controller's layout~but with most of the symmetry of the upcoming Wii U,) a circular Power button in the upper-left corner of the console, cameras of at least 3.1-megapixel and 720p resolution, a much slimmer frame, a very high-quality microphone on both the front and back of the system, a battery of the DSi XL's caliber, and an optional accessory which would fit snugly inside the bottom of the open system to offer backwards compatibility with the Gameboy Advance. On that last note, though, Nintendo could just allow users to copy save files from GBA games via original Nintendo DSes and Nintendo DS Lites through local wireless connectivity into Virtual Console copies of those same games. Speaking of Virtual Console, I would like to start seeing Gamecube games available for download through that service…

That's awesome! Hey/ off topic/ did you guys just see that NL crashed for like 3 minutes? Hey, I was thinking, why couldn't developers just use the touch screen for dual analogs? Go ahead grab your 3DS and do a little circly motion on the bottom screen. I know, Reggie, (the love of my life) said that Ninty would never abandon proper buttons, but that doesn't stop developers like Activision, does it? cough// Call of Duty// cough At least that would keep us from using the piece of trash that is the circle pad pro (I'm getting one on the first day, but still)

hmmm... Fix the scratching problem, uh... um... Ah! i know! make the buttons GLOW!!!!! so when you're playing in the dark, it's easy to see where the home, start, select and other buttons are, especially the home, start and select buttons (it will also make it look cool!)! Make them easy to press also... make the L and R buttons bigger, About the size of the ds lites ones.
WHAT!?!?! The 3DS hasn't even been out for a YEAR and we're talking about a redesign!?!? I wasn't happy about the price drop, but Nintendo better release it AT LEAST 2014 or later, or I will never buy a handheld from them again.
Anyways, when we DO get a redesign, I would first want it to be slimmer and less bulky. The system's a PORTABLE, and I can barely get it to fit in my pocket, and when I do, it sticks out. Maybe if they fixed that, I would use StreetPass more.
Second, the second Circle a pad needs to go under the face buttons (A,B,X,Y). If they had to, maybe they could move the Power Button to the side.
EDIT: Also, I noticed a lot of you guys complaining about the battery life. I don't have problems with the battery, probably because I actually CHARGE mine when I'm done playing.
