Re: Square Enix Details Octopath Traveler 0's Switch 2 Performance And Resolution

zeromission80

Don't know if anyone read the article I did regarding the recently released Star Wars Outlaws, but the devs stated very plainly that the engine used to create the game (snowdrop) wasn't running well on the Cart Media versus the micro SD card Express or the internal memory of the switch 2. Just something to think 🤔 about moving forward, not saying that game key cards are great but what if they just don't perform well vs digital copies played from internal memory or the SD express cards 🤷

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 On Switch 2 Is "Best Way" To Play Handheld Says CD Projekt Red

I don't want to jump the gun just yet, but i didn't know i wanted to play this game until i read this article.. As my only complete playthrough of the The Witcher 3 came via my og switch, i must admit concessions aside i was impressed with what the developers achieved on weaker hardware. All that being said i trust these guys much more after my time with the Witcher 3 on switch. Also i have it on a cart that speaks volumes... Hopefully cyberpunk 2077 does the same thing and silences the haters... Play what you want were you want, the console, PC, and mobile division is insane these days.

Re: Poll: GameStop Offers A Tempting Switch 2 Trade-In Deal, But Is It Really Worth It?

Honestly i'll try the second hand market, mine hasn't seen any real portable usage since i got the TOTK OLED model. My joycons were never used and i have a set of skyward sword ones also never used... Probably just bundle it all together and see what i can get on Facebook Marketplace. After all the sticks can be swapped for hall effect ones in regular joycons, which makes limited edition ones all the more worth it. too bad there's no way of using the old ones on the new hardware

Re: Anniversary: Resident Evil 4, One Of The Greatest Games Ever Made, Turns 20

Hands down my favorite RE title to date...I probably beat this game at least a dozen times on multiple platforms. The best way to play this is in my opinion with the Wii remote and nunchuck. I'm still angry that Capcom left out the basement cage maze boss fight, that tension is like non other in any horror game except maybe some of the original Dead Space moments

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Collector's Edition Pre-Orders Are Available Again (EU)

@Matl
May i introduce you to the eshit (eshop) which makes looking for a game nay impossible!! Scrolling takes years of your life away. Honestly I can't understand why they just don't sub all these digital tasks out to more competent and capable individuals. I love Nintendo quirks and all but, there are certain things that need to evolve with the times... Anything Nintendo collectors edition I've simply just given up on, not worth the disappointment that soon follows. Also you'll never stop the bots unless they have preorder windows, say for 48hrs or so then they close.

Re: 8BitDo Reveals New 'Ultimate' Controller Range, Compatible With Switch

zeromission80

@CasNicks Yeah that is the only question I have actually, but seeing how its the same price as an official Nintendo Pro controller probably not worth it. I certainly like the dock charging though... There's really no perfect controllers. Hell even the power A controllers can wake up the switch, and they are 49.99$ for the printed design ones...

Re: Surprise! Ruined King: A League Of Legends Story Is On Switch Right Now

@Donutsavant I would agree except skip Darksiders Genesis on Switch as well as Battle Chasers, they don't run great and from what i know the arena bug that crashes in Darksiders Genesis hasn't been fixed making completing the additional content impossible... To sum up the ports on Switch are not great. there's annoying slowdown in Battle Chasers thats hard to ignore it freezes for long periods of time during battle sequences.

Re: Metroid Dread Tops Amazon's "Best Sellers" Chart

Problem with articles like this is that these are half truths, most people who are genuinely fans of the series myself included will never actually obtain a SE copy or the amiibos... Like all retail it's all about the numbers, these could have been bought by a homeless person under a bridge. Ebay makes money off of inflated sales and so do the scalpers and retail gets the numbers almost instantly. Until there's an embargo placed on price gouging for second hand sales of unreleased goods this will never end. As much as I love Nintendo they are guilty of causing artificial shortages by making things purposely limited. Trying to tell people not to buy grossly overpriced preorders is also ridiculous, FOMO is very powerful and don't forget collectors who plan on never opening up those SE copies and amiibos... Rant over... PS I'll get a physical copy as I do with all first party titles and I'm sure I'll enjoy it 😊!!

Re: A Kid Icarus: Uprising Sequel Would Be "Difficult", Says Masahiro Sakurai

Great game visually speaking and even from a technical standpoint. Alas I never finished it due to the sinfully bad control scheme... I honestly think it would sell infinitely better on the switch, and the control scheme can be sooo much better. Like someone said above if it doesn't sell, it gets shifted down the priority rabbit 🐇 hole. Shame...
