Playing mkwii, I had used motion controls until I had bought it again on eBay after not playing it for like 8 years, then I used a GameCube controller I dug out of my dads closet after like maybe 10 years, and now the remote just overheats the console and then just shuts it off. 10/10 good time overall for 5 minutes of gameplay

This has to the one of the cruelest/smartest business move i've seen nintendo make, you keep people waiting for years, make 'em pay $25 per pack, release them over a two year span, or have them pay $50 for online play with extra content to be included. Not only that but it still gives people reason to buy mk8 deluxe, and it doesn't take as much work as a new game, and they still get to save that "new title" for the next generation.

@Zequio yeah, you're right. In my opinion, you're better off buying it on the Wii U's virtual console. Mario 64 was $2 USD the other day, and even then (although this is a stretch) there's always emulators.

This is good, but can get a free trial for the expansion pack? I at least want to know what paying for before dishing out 50 bucks.

@Mgalens You’re right, I guess I was just a little upset about forces, but I didn’t really consider colors or generations which, like you said, were well received by a lot of people. Also yeah for frontiers I’m only a bit worried about things like the game crashing or load time.

This is great. I’m smiling like an idiot right now in class. I love that they’re doing a modern spin on the classic ideas. Like you got the egg mobile and buzz bomber and the plane 😆 This is awesome.

Joker getting a reveal was awesome, but for me nothing tops the Sephiroth trailer. It was legendary for a bunch of reasons but watching Mario get “impaled”, and then realizing it was a fake-out still gives me chills.

Good to know. Now I can pay 80 bucks for a dock. 👍
