The Nvidia X1 quad-core, Maxwell GPU is not power engough to run VR. The Nvidia X1 quad-core, Maxwell GPU (switch) is 9x stronger than vita but its between a wii u and xbox one specs. There is know way the Nvidia X1 quad-core, Maxwell GPU can run VR.

Let's put this way. The wii and the wii u was not a underpowered systems. They could run mulitplats like COD, ASSCRED, Battlefield games. Problem is that the devs have to spend more money to find other programmers to port these games on the nintendo system. Wii u could easy get metal gear solid 5, shadow of morder, battlefield 4 and 1, wwe 2k games why because they these games are also on last gen (xbox 360 and ps3.) The wii u is more powerful than PS3 and 360. And please don't tell because the 360 and ps3 have a bigger install base. Bayonetta 2 sold over a million sales. Its not the hardware its the devs.

@A01 True. But you think about it the wii have 3rd party games but mostly indies. PS4 and Xbox one don't have a lot of AAA game so what they made up for the "drought" is remasters and indies. Nintendo could play this game what PS4 and Xbox one could. Make a lot of remasters and remakes and just get indies on board. Wii U have a lot of good indies and share some of the PS4 and Xbox one. IMO Wii u is better than PS4 and xbox one.

Okay what is the last time that Microsoft made a game on the xbox 360 and what is the last time Sony made a game on the PS3? Also devs were making game to the wii since last year like Just dance, skylander, movie titles, and more shovelware games. One good game came out of the wii last year was rodea the sky soldier. Also this year one game came out of the wii is just dance 2017

The wii u is more powerful than 360 and PS3. Here is what went wrong with the wii u

1) No hard drive - If the wii u had a hard drive they will get more 3rd party games. Nintendo want to cut down development cost of the system to not include a hard drive. The wii u should have a hard drive to support 500gb. Skyrim can easy ported to the wii u but bugthesda cannot make the game on the wii u with no hard drive. There games are buggy and relied on patches and updates. 32 gbs is not possible

2) Lazy Devs. These devs are really lazy. They know the ps3 and 360 is more powerful than the wii u. But they want to just port games to the wii u but not build a game form the ground up.

2.5) Lieing devs, like Ubisoft, Activison, Playtonic games, EA, and other game devs are leirs. The lie that seen the Wii u is not power than the 360 and ps3.

3) Finally is the marketing

I found a new article that Yooka laylee was not cancel due to "end production of the wii u" if nintendo denied it couple of time. I am sorry say this but Yooka Laylee devs pull a project cars. The devs lied. Yooka Laylee was not in development for the wii u in the first place. Proof, they said team 17 (same people who make worms) was handling the Xbox and PS4 port. They are handling the PC and Wii U port of the game. Okay now 5 months later they delay the game to Q1 2017. A nintendo website said are they making a NX port of the game? They said "At this stage we’re aiming to just release on what we promised on Kickstarter – which is a lot for us as a team of twenty people!". Okay cool now. Why they said right now that Yooka laylee could not get port to due with technical difficulties. bullpoop. Yes BS. Unity is an easy tool to port game. @DanteSolablood Devs and including Nintendo don't show games on the actually system. They show on a debug system. Also the game is running at 30 frames. Its hard to tell on a console. But I 90% sure the game is running at 30 not 60. Remember we did not see any combat or anything. Now the handled part is running at 720p.
