Game Key-cards - the dumbest Nintendo idea ever. I mean, if they're thinking about Switch 2 players' re-sell and pass n' play needs, then they'd best just stick to cartridges. Plus, let's be honest: Nintendo is shooting itself in the foot by letting all of us resell their games like that.

@Jhena , let me get the game and then I'll add you; my sister really enjoys the opportunity of doing dives herself in real life, and when I told her about the game (she's a Switch fanatic) she was like, "That's really cool! I'll have to get it!" So, I'll set something up once I get the game. I'll have to see if Jess got it already.

@Jhena , looks like I'll get it also; my sister, Jessica, was recently interviewed by the BBC for her work as a marine researcher in identifying new aquatic species in real life - so, I'm positive she'll get it also. Maybe you and I can exchange usernames to dive together.

@Jhena , yes, I'd say that the review comes from a NL reviewer that doesn't appreciate scuba diving and the mechanic of scanning aquatic life. For those that do appreciate this, like myself and you, I'm sure it will be a nice game. I'd say that PJ O'Reilly is being openly biased.

@KateGray , thank you very much for confirming this; based on your review, though, it looks like a great idea - I'm enthusiastic about it to say the least and might totally give it a go. Furthermore, the idea of taking notes on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra for the game (even if it's outside the Switch) seems kind of intriguing; makes one think that they're actually a botanist. ☺️

Sounds to me like a solid game for those who like "cozy" games - but, since it's a puzzler, I figured it would have been a lot longer. 4 hours for a puzzler to me seems to be short - like, I would have thought at least 7-8 hours. Especially for someone who's a strategist at heart. Still, depending on the price, might be worth it if it's difficulty level allows it to last longer than 4 hours.

@ModdedInkling & @JohnnyC, it's definitely a niche game - that's the only reason it's so popular.

The only reason I believe FIFA23 is holding up is because of the World Cup - there's a seasonal challenge going on right now. Give it a few weeks - the charts will change. 😉

All this hype for what looks to be a weird but beautiful game (and anime chic), and it's not coming to Switch? I think BOTW's Tominaga's legacy goes before him - but, it's not so much worth putting much hype on it for the before-mentioned reason.

Completely full of nostalgia - though, as @Ham-n-jam said, the graphics for this map are atrocious... Good work, though - kudos to the Forge Mode map creator. ☺️

This is all very nice - and would probably need some code changes - but, the most important question is: who is sharing this with Game Freaks? Maybe most of this could be released with a patch or even a DLC.

This is quite interesting - and, probably good for getting to places faster - but, are the other benefits to BLJ in Pokemon Scarlet/Violet?

@BrazillianCara , to be honest, I'm not sure; I think we may have both misunderstood each other. I thought you were talking about this Nintendo Life and the way they've written it, talking about their attitude and having those sick of it to just ignore it or put it on mute (which isn't possible). Maybe you were talking about the very opinionated comments we see here? Not sure - but, one thing's for sure: I wasn't talking specifically about the song or the artist either in my comment above - just using it to state a point.

I don't like it either; however, I'm not complaining to Nintendo Life about their topic for this article just because, if I would, it'd be biased considering I'm a Pokemon fan and do like the Ed Sheeran song. What strikes me, though, as noble is the fact that Nintendo Life doesn't show any bias in the article either. Good work to Nintendo Life for keeping this merely a news article on a modder's inconsiderate decision to mod out the song.

To be honest, I like the song from Ed Sheeran; great lyrics, laid back sound, cute video - and, as a Pokemon fan, it does reach the heart. Not sure why anyone would want to take the song out.

@SpaceboyScreams , this sounds cool - but, I'm skeptical about modding / jailbreaking my OLED Switch. Are there any drawbacks to doing so?

In contrary to U.S. popular opinion (as suggested here), I believe that much of the hype in Japan - and the reason for the popular Scarlet/Violet votes is due to the numerous, uncountable leaks that have exploded over the internet in recent weeks; if it weren't for those leaks (which Tears of the Kingdom doesn't have), Zelda maybe would have had a chance still. What do you all think?

I'm actually one of those who haven't played it yet - but, in about a month or so, once I get back home to the U.S. - I'll be putting in a ton of hours. Just got my Switch OLED as an early Christmas gift; it's sitting at my mom's house, haha. Can't wait for BOTW.

Just decided to put some hefty money into getting a Nintendo Switch, and - as I'm an U.S. expat, living in Bolivia - I won't be able to play my Switch and the games I've bought until about a month from now - but, after purchasing Harvestella today and having it shipped to my mom's house, I simply CANNOT wait to play it. Looks wonderful, the music is nice and relaxing, the graphics are beautiful, and - though as others mentioned that it looks laggy (for me, it seems when fighting monsters) - it looks like the storyline is captivating. This is gonna be an awesome addition to my collection. ❤️
