Re: South Park: Fractured But Whole Coming to Switch on 13th March, says Aussie retail listing

@Nincompoop its purpose is to be funny and shocking. They tried to push the envelope as much as they could to make a point about PC culture () and its pointlessness, as the scenes were written down for you. in Australia, for example, the censored scenes were replaced with a crying koala accompanied by text explaining what went on in graphic detail. It made quite a few people laugh, the same goes for the anal probing scene. If you don't think it's funny, that's fine, humor is subjective, you have the right to your own opinion.

@Nincompoop The difficultly slider is basically social commentary on American society in which being Hispanic or black will result in racial prejudice being directed at you in your everyday life. It is a statement of the facts.

The scene in which black people are sent to jail is commentary on racism in America from police officers, where everyday, blacks and Hispanics are murdered by those who are sworn to protect the American people.

The abortion clinic scene is making fun of Planned Parenthood, and the enduring disagreement between Liberials vs Conservatives on this issue. The reason they were Nazis is because the plot of the game (in which people were turned into Nazi zombies) demanded so.

As for the sex scene involving the sex scene, most of us thought is was funny. It was purposefully shocking and cathartic.

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

PS. Matt and Trey Parker, the writers of this game, are Libertarians who lean towards Liberal ideas, and have written progressive South Park episodes.

Re: Nicalis Would Love To Bring Night Trap To Nintendo Switch

starfox007

Nintendo is being stupid, arrogant, and short-sighted.

Don't bother telling me that it's quality control, because it's not. They let Meme Run on Wii U be sold, as well as Vroom in the Night Sky on eShop be published. Ultra Street Fighter is on Switch in the year 2017 for $40, and Nintendo fanboys lapped it up, so now we're getting more ports!

Thanks guys.

It should also be noted that the port we're getting for passing the "Are Nintendo fans stupid enough" challenge is RE Revelations 1+2, the first most of you have on 3DS already, and that has appeared on so many platforms last gen and this gen it's not funny. I have a physical copy in my possession right now and had the Wii U port.

It's okay, though, because we have Zelda and Mario Kart on the system - No, wait I can buy those on my Wii U. At least Splatoon 2 is good - No wait, it was a low effort sequel with barely functional voice chat. At least I have 1-2-Switch and Troll and I to play in the meantime.

We all know it's good to be corporate slaves and worship Nintendo.

Re: Virtual Reality Mario Kart Looks As Much Fun As It Sounds

@Hikingguy I didn't mean the experience would be the same, but I mean the basic controls could be replicated with a regular controller.

Take, for example, Farpoint. Sony recommends using an Aim controller so it feels like holding a gun, but the game can be played perfectly fine with a controller, although the light gun will provide a more immersive experience.

As for seizures, yes, they can be triggered by more than flashing lights and rapidly moving patterns, but I don't think there is an increased chance with VR vs normal games. I've read some medical articles about VR but I haven't come across one saying there is an increased chance of seizures.

I agree completely that VR's biggest problem is motion sickness. I gave my PSVR for my friend to have a go, he couldn't go past an hour in Resi 7. Thus, games like Farpoint have to be designed so that enemies only appear in front of you and have very basic A.I. and tactics. Even with that some people still have motion sickness, and they can't play VR even if they want to, for the simple fact they just can't take it.

Re: Virtual Reality Mario Kart Looks As Much Fun As It Sounds

starfox007

I'm rather excited about this.

I have a PSVR and it's a bit underwhelming. resident Evil 7, farpoint and Driveclub are good but most are tech demos. I hope doom Vr and Skyrim Vr will be good though.

If Nintendo makes a headset for switch like mobile phones and makes MK8, Metroid and F Zero Vr I will be a happy man.

Re: There Are Currently 'No Plans' For Final Fantasy XV On Nintendo Switch

starfox007

Seriously, this kind of behaviour is toxic. I've gone through the comments and people have tried to justify it not coming to switch by saying the game sucks.
1) That's your opinion. Whether it sucks or not, more games will make the Switch more popular.
2) It will prove the Switch can run modern AAA games.
3) Most of you are salty that many games are skipping this system. You're making it worse.

Some of you said FFXV bombed. It didn't. It broke even day one.

One of you said that the PS4 and xbox are PCs, making them easier to port to, then saying Switch is easier to port to. A Tegra is a mobile chip, different architecture.
You're not making sense.

Re: No, There Isn't A Nintendo Switch Beta Program

starfox007

I don't have a job yet, and these scammers need someone to write better copy.

Let me try:

Congratulations! We at Nintendo of Europe need beta testers to experience the newest Nintendo home console - The Nintendo Switch!

Send your credit card details, full name, and $20,000 in cold, hard cash and receive the system, a copy of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Switch, Metroid: Return of Samus Aran, F-Zero: Adventures of Captain Falcon, Mario Kart 8: Remastered, Splatoon 2, Project Sonic and every game you saw in the Switch trailer! Reggie Fils-Aime will also show up at your house and you get three wishes.

Re: Weirdness: PlayStation VR's 'Cinematic Mode' Works With Wii U, and Pretty Much Any HDMI Device

starfox007

@Anti-Matter Let me talk about Nintendo in the same way as you talk about Sony and Microsoft.

I HATE Nintendo consoles because they only have kids' games. I only play M-Rated games and despise useless, cartoony, cute games with no substance. I only play shooters like CoD and HATE archaic Mario with his damned E-rated, aged 2D platformers.

Not my actual opinions, by the way.

Re: Weirdness: PlayStation VR's 'Cinematic Mode' Works With Wii U, and Pretty Much Any HDMI Device

starfox007

@Anti-Matter Why are you talking with so much bitter hatred? You're using the word HATE in all caps time after time, describing mature games as useless, vulgar and dangerous. Films have gone further, books have gone further, and having such close-minded views of entertainment and art just makes you seem like a person that would go to a party and immediately leave after hearing cuss words in rap songs, people kissing and holding hands and people having a beer. You look at the PS4 and Xbox and automatically reject them after seeing God of War, Uncharted, and Halo.

These are good games by the way.

Re: Weirdness: PlayStation VR's 'Cinematic Mode' Works With Wii U, and Pretty Much Any HDMI Device

starfox007

@dew12333 I don't mind if someone has a different opinion to me or others, but anti-matter is generalizing two companies as having too much mature content on their systems and using the word HATE in all caps and the phrase "bad entertainment" to describe the games. This is the attitude of a close-minded person and would make people angry in other contexts. Talk about sexual orientation, gender, or religion in this way and people would get nuts. The argument that games are just games doesn't apply because this is an art form gaining as much attention as movies and books.

Re: Weirdness: PlayStation VR's 'Cinematic Mode' Works With Wii U, and Pretty Much Any HDMI Device

starfox007

@Anti-Matter How has VR made you lose faith in Sony? Just because it scares you? It's also not a Sony invention. The first massively hyped VR game console was made by Nintendo, and there was one made by Sega that didn't make it to release because of technical problems. There are also computer headsets like the Oculus or Hive and there are non-gaming possibilities that can be had from them. I read from your comments that you only play kids' games and despise, and I quote, "vulgar adult games" from Sony. First of all, Sony only makes some games for their systems and the majority are from third-parties. If you look at the GameCube, there were the, at that time, exclusives Killer is Dead, Resident Evil Remake, Resident Evil 4 and many mature-rated games. You also have some kind of hate for Western games that you haven't fully explained. If this is because Western developers make M-Rated games, then you're ignoring that the Japanese can make more adult oriented games, and none of this is a bad thing. Look at Catherine, the Wii games No More Heroes and MadWorld. Look at Tokyo Mirage Sessions before it was censored. Bayonetta. I'm not angry that you don't play M-Rated games, but that you hate them because it offends your 1950s sensibilities and somehow associate them only with Sony and Microsoft.

I own a Wii U and PS4 and try not to be biased. I play them them both. Maybe you should be open to different things once in a while.

Rant over.
