Re: Latest Iwata Asks Episode Reveals Why Paper Mario Sticker Star Abandoned RPG Elements

I guess I'm in the minority here but I actually really like this game. I was disappointed when I heard there would be no exp but honestly it works just fine. The stickers make the game feel different and the episodic nature really works well on a handheld.
The humor is great. I've actually laughed out loud a number of times. Oh and the music = awesome.
Anyway, I don't get why people insist on never being satisfied. Just enjoy the game.
And besides, it's not like any of the paper mario games have been extremely deep RPGs to begin with.

Re: Guide: Using USB Storage with the Wii U

@Jonisme
I launched Nano Assault Neo (only around 50mb) off an sd card in an sd reader and i notcied it took a slightly longer time to start up but after that it ran well. I don't think it will take too long even for bigger games.
Also, as I understand it, hard drives tend to slow down quite a bit once they become more than 50% full.

Re: Miiverse To Be Detailed In An Upcoming Nintendo Direct

I really think people need to stop expecting an account based system. I would love it as well but I have very strong doubts it will happen. Being tied to a system is inconvenient but not the end of the world.
Also people seemed to not realize that when Nintendo said the Wii U would have accounts they were talking about different accounts on one system so each member of the family could have they're own settings and saves and everything.
Anyway, my whole point is instead of getting our hopes up always wishing for more, we can just enjoy what we have.

Re: Talking Point: Affordable Consoles Come at a Cost

This made me sad. And it makes me sad that I know I'll end up buying the Wii U anyway.
"If Nintendo consoles go up in price in the future to accommodate higher standards in worker’s rights, but gamers vote with their wallets and say they won’t pay that much money, then we’ll only have ourselves to blame."

That last sentence is one people really need to think about instead of always demanding everything at the lowest possible price. Very good article.

Re: Nintendo: Wii U Basic Bundle Designed To Attract Core Gamers

I think that is a good idea except for one thing: "Core" gamers will never buy anything called basic if there is a Deluxe version. lol
I agree they should have had both colors available for both models. Personally I like the white console better so even though I'd like the Deluxe I'll settle for the Basic. (Plus they're the only ones left)

Re: Sumo Digital Declares Wii U Capabilities to be "On Par" or Better Than PS3

I think the difference between the consoles will be much less noticable. Besides First Party games I play everything on PC and while I have a good system, I certainly don't have an amazing setup but I can still play all the games that come out. Sometimes I have to play on "High" or "Medium" settings instead of "Ultra Super Awesome" but the game is still very playable and the difference doesn't detract (unless I want it to). I have a feeling it will be similar with the WiiU vs PS4/XBox

Re: New Super Mario Bros. 2 Takes Over GAME Store In London

Man this makes me sad. Seems like US doesn't care all that much. At least around here in Pasadena. I called GameStop the other day about preordering a 3DS XL and she said I could but there wasn't a release date yet... lol.
And when I asked about NSMB2 on sunday she said games only come out on tuesdays haha. Good ol' clueless GameStop employees.

What was that thing Reggie said about gamers never being satisfied?
We had a month of great content and we even had sales, which is huge for Nintendo. Let's give it some time (at least more than a week) before we start bashing Nintendo for not giving us what we want when we want it.

Re: Review: Mole Mania (3DS eShop / Game Boy)

sr388survivor

I had never even heard of this but when I found out it was a Miyamoto project I tried it out and I have to say it's quite fantastic. It has lots of charm and I don't think the game is that frustrating. Restarting a room is easy enough and given that the Game Boy only had two buttons, I don't see how the control scheme could be any different. I personally think it deserves more than a 7, at least an 8. Good review though.
