Re: Western Version Of Bravely Default Features Costume Changes For Female Characters

@WildKatb This is what we are dealing with here. You do realize the age of consent in various FIRST world countries and areas is as low as 14? The world is big, if this creeps you out then you haven't seen a lot of the world yet. No reason to support obnoxious censorship. It's not so much of it being a big deal as the principle of the game. Bikinis exist, skin exists, yet we are treated like Japan are the adults and the West are children.

Re: Talking Point: Is The Castlevania Series Finished With Nintendo?

scrubbyscum999

Every since the Lords of Shadow Castlevania has gone downhill. Until I see Castlevania be good again I'm not buying. Castlevania is my 2nd favorite series by the way, so it's not easy to say that.

@accc Exactly, the Lords of Shadow series sucks. I don't mind a new direction, but its just too western gameplay and style wise. I want Castlevania that is, you know, feels like CASTLEVANIA.

Re: Game of the Year: Nintendo Life Readers' Awards 2013

Ugh, why didn't Pokemon win at 3DS Game of the Year? Oh whatever, it sells like hot cakes anyways.

Didn't expect it to make it on here but Project X Zone is a really great game. Now that was a great 3rd party game. Bravely Default ain't out in the States so hard to say anything there.

Unchained Blades and Senran Kagura are also games that at least deserve some sort of honorable mention for being surprisingly good amidst expectations.

Re: Nintendo Releases Handy Wii U Comparison Chart

Yo, if they were able to release Smash and Mario Kart at launch they wouldn't be having these problems. Add updates on Smash to add the 6th gen pokemon later and rebalancing and your done. But nooooooooo, we have to still go after the non existent casual market.

Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Safe and Family-Friendly Focus is Integral to Its Fortunes

scrubbyscum999

Nintendo has done nothing right in this situation. Pokemon has become a game that is heavy online play and encourages CONSTANT interaction with STRANGERS. The kid friendly image, when in brace to strongly, only hurts Nintendo. They can't get third party devs and other hardcore gamers if they are going to be all "we need to save the children". How about parenting, huh? What happened to the parents' responsibility. My generation and coming generations are f'ed up, and Nintendo can't control that. Little kids are like not innocent AT ALL, that is not Nintendo's problem. Nintendo's job is to make good artistic games and get a profit. When trying to be family friendly gets in the way of gaming experience, there is a problem.

Re: Nintendo Disables Swapnote's SpotPass Service Due to Online Safety Concerns

F this. I'm sorry but you have to shut the WHOLE thing down?! It's unnecessary. Let the parents take the responsibilty, its the internet. This won't save those same kids from getting drunk in high and High School cause their parents let them leave the house the 3 days straight on weekends. Most kids today are absolute scum, that's their parents fault, not Nintendo's. This is coming from an 18 year old. I'm sorry Nintendo, but this is garbage.
