Overall aesthetic looks good, no doubt, but non-detachable joycons means no more instant multiplayer out of the box (and that familiar "snap" sound they make when attached), and it won't work with Labo kits anymore. Also, those analog sticks don't look durable.
I'd feel the same if this happened to me. Not cool, Capcom. Not cool. Have some respect for your Japanese fans and give them the Street Fighter collection they deserve!
True, Sony can't ignore the Switch. But that doesn't mean they have to copy Nintendo and make a hybrid console of their own to get back the spotlight. They can instead come up with something totally different or innovative.
The Switch's first year is great so far. Here's what I think should be improved on in the coming years: 1. Games need to run smoothly, locked at 30 fps docked or undocked 2. The base game should fit in a card. Extras/multiplayer can be optional downloads 3. Ports need to have new content or features that are exclusive to Switch 4. Release dates of AAA titles should be spread out evenly
1. final fantasy xii the zodiac age 2. final fantasy type 0 hd 3. a new final fantasy tactics game (or reboot) 4. reboot of the front mission series (tactical turn-based, not 3rd person shooter)
Bought it day one and enjoying it so far! Framerate and graphics are non-issues for me, probably coz I haven't played the other versions. My only complaint is the size of the text in undocked mode — too small to read and giving me a headache. LOL I wish they'd do something about it through a patch or update.
Woahh..I just finished replaying Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney on the DS last week and thought how great it'd be to have it on the Switch..now this! Mind. Blown.
In the console race I think Nintendo is running at its own pace and lane (with the Switch being a hybrid console). So maybe they won't be releasing a new console anytime soon. Who knows, Sony and Microsoft might follow Nintendo and create hybrid consoles of their own?
A sign of good times ahead, indeed! The first Doom started the FPS genre on many platforms. Now its reboot is doing the same thing on Switch. Talk about history repeating itself!
@ICISAZEL yeah a fighting joycon would be cool! or maybe some kind of accessory like a detachable rubber/silicon d-pad we can put over the four buttons on the original joycon

Yeah, definitely looking forward to being surprised by Crysis Remastered.

Nice update! Maybe online coop and versus are coming soon, but (here's the caveat)...they won't be free.
Re: Rainway Team Says Talks With Nintendo Over Switch Version Are "Working Out Well"
@Skunkfish Bad news for Switch owners who want to play 3rd party games but don't have a PC/laptop or don't like to stream games.

Re: Your Joy-Con Can Now Have a D-Pad if You’re Brave Enough
This is the only reason why I haven't bought Ultra Street Fighter yet. Fighting games are best played with a D-pad imo.
