Re: F-Zero Isn't Dead - It's Just Sleeping, Says Nintendo Legend Takaya Imamura

“ Imamura's comments echo those made by Shigeru Miyamoto in 2012, who said he was "puzzled" that people wanted a new entry in the series because he felt that Nintendo had achieved everything that could be done with the franchise”

Problem is, it’s not exactly easy to play the existing versions. Many haven’t experienced GX. It’s like movie critics complaining a theme has been done to death but as people are born everyday, there’s always someone who will see it as something new. How about at least giving us a re-release of GX/AX on the Switch? They seem to be re-releasing everything else, why not something people are actively asking for, if not a new version?

Re: Poll: How Do You Feel About 'Limited-Time' Games From Nintendo?

I think the pole results spell it out clearly - people would have still bought this without the marketing B.S.
Nintendo should know by now that people trust their brand. At this point, I might wait until the deadline is almost up in case there’s rumors the deadline might be removed to make way for DLC or if they break up the All-Stars and sell them individually along with Galaxy 2.

Re: Nintendo Kicks Off Weekly 'Double Gold Points' Promotion (Europe)

My Wish List probably has about 50 games on my Switch and I check it daily. I have a rule that unless it’s 50% or more off, I don’t buy it. I used to be very impatient and buy games when they were released but there’s so much now and I’m so behind on my games that even when I buy them, I probably still won’t get around to playing them anytime soon. There’s exceptions of course but those are rare. It just makes sense since there’s so many games out there - FOMO aside of course, but I can wait.

Re: Jaleco's P-47: Thunderbolt Joins The Arcade Archives Roster Today

@antster1983 Well, the SNES version could be released on the Switch Online SNES catalog. Maybe Arcade Archives could work something out regarding the licensing. I’m curious as to ROI for these re-releases. Sure they sell ok to those of us who used to play them long ago but how well do they do with the millennials and younger crowds.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl #45 - Phalanx

Could you guys do a story on the history of these box arts? Why was the banjo guy used? Who designed the ship? Also, at the end of the year, maybe take all of the winners so far and do a tally of US vs Europe vs Japan to see who comes out on top.
