Re: Review: DreamWorks Dragons: Dawn Of New Riders - A Light-Hearted Romp That's Perfect For Younger Players

Gee wiz, for a game that I completed in 4 hours, with only 3 islands (and they are small, one stage affairs) with a couple of extra small 5-10 minute maps thrown in, and a story that made me think the rest is coming as DLC, I'm surprised at the score. Yep, it's for kids, and it's fun, I had a ball...but I wonder why this game gets such a good score for what it does wrong at the same time. Glad someone enjoyed it though, I sure did, just not the amount I paid for the equivalent of watching the first 2 films in length,

Why do people defend the nasty people at LRG? They make you pay and can't cancel (obviously they are over their head with the amount of games on back order and their slow packing because they want the interest earned on all our money etc, and don't want more staff). Stuff comes up, I had a funeral, had to travel, asked to cancel, was threatened with being banned. The whole "limited release" scene is just there to suck money out of people with more dollars than sense.

Got cash-in-on-em all.

Limited Run are horrid - if you say one thing wrong, they jump on you like you've murdered a child.

Super Rare - an expensive club to order 2 days early is a bad cash in.

Play-Asia, I like them, they hardly release anything or make a huge fuss.

Strictly Limited - not really sure...just another cash in on collectors. The market is saturated. I sold all my Limited Run/Super Rare when they got angry for saying "seems like a cash grab" and introduced a lousy "club".

Shame LRG don't let you cancel, last person I know who did, got "banned for life" lol. Bell-Ends.
