I second the excitement and hope for a great port. I love this game and this genre. Real pumped for it.

@Paraka It’s not actually a Cliffy B game. It’s developed by People Can Fly (the Painkiller people). I think he was still at Epic when it came out but he only served in an oversight capacity. Great game.

When I play with the kiddos the Switch is generally docked. When I play by myself it is almost always in handheld. So more power for the Switch to perform better in handheld would be a-mazing.

As far as a simplified version for the kiddos? You bet I'm in for that too. They both have 2DS systems for that reason. They would LOVE it if they each had their own Switches. The only real problem is the cost of the games comparatively. 2-3 copies of each game (1 for each Switch in the house at that point) would be a massive expense that I don't think I could handle.

@Daniel_0x143 I bought the original day 1 for full price and ended up never finishing it due to extreme load times and confusing messaging around the updates. In the end I felt kind of let down and mislead about the game. Since the load times are never going to get better on the original and it looks like this is an entirely new game, I can't see myself jumping in and playing it. It feels too much like paying full price again for something that was never finished. I realize that it was but to be honest I wasn't even aware of the updates. Hearing that they make the load times longer makes me not want to reinstall at all. It's a real bummer.

It's a pass for me.

This is still a super fun game. I have the remastered version by Nightdive installed on my Mac and play it often. I will be double dipping to play it on Switch. I would love to see this get a limited physical release. Or even better Turok and Turok 2 in a 2 pack from Super Rare, Limited Run, or one of the other boutique game publishers.

Sniper Elite is a really fun series. Happy to hear that it's coming to Switch this year.

I hope it has even longer load times. 😭

@GrailUK Yeah, 3rd person made me think action/adventure. The footage is twin stick shooter on a weird hexagonal grid. Could be fun, but not what I was jazzed about from the title.

I love Yooka Laylee and am totally into this new modification for it. Sure it isn't exactly like a game would be on the N64, who cares. I'm her for the fun.

Am I a mean person that hates fun if I say that this looks really lame to me? Like ultra blah Mega Man combined with Bionic Commando.

It’s only a few dollars. For the price it is the most polished and most fun game on the eshop. It has faults but it so dang cheap.

Wasn't interested and now I am. Mission accomplished NintendoLife and nDreams!

Sweet. Outlast is fantastic. Glad I haven't played the 2nd because now I will, on Switch.

@SimplyCinnamon53 Gamefly is affordable. You can start with either a free month or a low rate for 3 months. Keeping games is variable. Some are $19, some are $32, it depends. It's definitely nice for trying games to see if they are any good and if they are then you can keep them for an average of 20-25% off retail.

Forces is not that bad. I rented it from GameFly and was shocked that I loved it after so many negative reviews. Needless to say I clicked the keep button and it is part of my collection. Now to go grab that Sanic shirt.

Uuuuuugly. Black looked ok. White plastic is so hard to get right and this... doesn't do it.

@SharkAttackU It's hard to know what is going on when playing on my 15" macbook pro... so yeah... that is a very valid point.

It is quite literally a hyper hard side scrolling Doom that feels like an actual DOS game. It's quite good but some levels are stupidly hard.

@audiobrainiac It is super difficult. I have it on Steam. It's great... but brutal.

I wonder if I will be the only person to complete this 100%. I'm 9 hours in and think I'm getting near the end. Some of the later sequences are actually a blast. Anyway, thought I would post an update. Still like it and am going to go all the way through it and collect everything.

@Donutman I loved Devil's Third and I'm not ashamed to say it.

I am 5 hours into the game. It is definitely riddled with bugs, BUT I like the game. I really do. I'm enjoying the adventure for what it is. It should have been marketed as an indie adventure game in the same way Papa and Yo was a few years ago. I paid full price and don't regret it. For me it is a 6/10. Not for everyone but there is a great game in here. I wish the internet didn't do what it does so well and make everyone point and laugh at things they haven't tried.

@Nertak And many people's salaries are going to average pretty far north of 40k I would assume. This game has a long way to go to make money.

There is so much to do on the Wii U imo. I am super happy and don't need to have constant new software and hardware to be happy. I have a huge backlog and need time to chew through it anyway.

As long as Zelda is there and is awesome... I am cool with it.
