Re: What Capcom games do you want to see on the Virtual Console?

marktheshark

@ Bass X0,

If Capcom can release MVC 2 on XBLA & PSN, I don't see why the other Marvel games can't go on the VC.

My wishlist:
Dynasty Wars (Arcade, 1989)
Super Street Fighter II Turbo (Arcade, 1994)
Warriors of Fate (Arcade, 1992)
Street Fighter Alpha (Arcade, 1995)
Street Fighter Alpha II (Arcade, 1996)
Street Fighter Alpha III (Arcade, 1998)
X-Men: Children of the Atom (Arcade, 1994)
Marvel Super Heroes (Arcade, 1995)
X-Men vs. Street Fighter (Arcade, 1996)
Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter (Arcade, 1997)
Marvel vs. Capcom (Arcade, 1998)
Saturday Night Slam Masters (Arcade, 1993)
Red Earth* (Arcade, 1996)
Street Fighter III: New Generation* (Arcade, 1997)
Street Fighter III 2nd Impact: Giant Attack* (Arcade, 1998?)
Street Fighter III 3rd Strike* (Arcade, 1999)
Forgotten Worlds (Arcade, 1988)
Ghouls'n Ghosts (Arcade, 1988)
Cyberbots: Fullmetal Madness (Arcade, 1995)
Knights of the Round (Arcade, 1991)
Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors (Arcade, 1994)
Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge (Arcade, 1995)
Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire (Arcade, 1997)
Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire (Arcade, 1997)
Vampire Hunter 2 : Darkstalkers Revenge (Arcade, 1997)
Super Gem Fighter (Arcade, 1997)
Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo (Arcade, 1996)
Giga Wing (Arcade, 1999)
Mars Matrix : Hyper Solid Shooting (Arcade, 2000)
19XX: The War Against Destiny (Arcade, 1996)
Mega Man X (Super NES, 1993)
Mega Man X2 (Super NES, 1994)
Mega Man X3 (Super NES, 1995)
Mega Man IV (NES, 1991)
Mega Man V (NES, 1992)
Mega Man VI (NES, 1994)
Mega Man VII (Super NES, 1995)
1944: The Loop Master (Arcade, 2000)
*- Might not come to the VC until the next Nintendo System is around due to storage issues
I have high hopes for all these games to be released on the VC eventually.
Last, but not least, any CPS & CPS II game that doesn't have licensing issues can be released on the VC without fear of storage since the biggest games are around 322 megabits which is small enough to be released on VC at least according to System 16.

Re: Bit Boy!!

marktheshark

The 128-bit worlds in this game really remind me of some games that run under Sega's Model 3 Hardware for Arcades like Virtua Fighter 3 & Lost World: Jurassic Park. Also reminds me of early Dreamcast games, specifically the ones that came out back then either in late 1998 or early 1999 like Sonic Adventure & Power Stone for example.

Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - June 2009

marktheshark

No new Neo Geo games this month?! Noooo!

I wanna get Fatal Fury Special, I don't care about that FFBA Vol.1, the rest of the games on there are all lame.

@ Adamant, 6

Why you gotta be so rude sometimes? You're sometimes too harsh on other people.

Re: Fatal Fury Special

marktheshark

I wonder what's holding back SNK Playmore from putting out any more Neo Geo games on the VC?

I think the VC will probably start getting more Neo Geo games once Fatal Fury Special or World Heroes 2 comes to the VC.

@109, Adamant
Please cool your temper. Acting all angry, blowing hot smoke out of your nose, & insulting others isn't going to do anybody any good.

@Longtimegamer
I feel your pain. Especially with the high amount of SNES, TG-16, & Arcade games they're getting & us not getting much in comparison.

Having said that, I think this week is a little boring & so will be the next week.

Re: Monster Hunter G Gives Wii a Sales Boost In Japan

@19, Keyboard

Please calm down. Why do you have to go crazy all because warioswoods uses vgchartz & thinks it's a good source? You think all people that use vgchartz, especially the ones that go to the forums are idiots? I'm kinda offended by your comment, please be less harsh next time.

Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - May 2009

marktheshark

What a pathetic month! Well, I'm betting that all of those games announced to come on the JPN VC this month might come here eventually.

Then again, obviously not the full list.

I wonder when Namco & Ninty will bring all of those arcade games that Namco has anounced to the NA & European VCs.

Re: Talking Point: Could The Conduit Be in for a Rough Ride at Retail?

marktheshark

@10, Damo, & maybe all who agree with him

You do realize that not all games have the same budget, & that not all developers have the same standards on how much a game needs to sell to get them a decent profit, right? Not all games have to sell 1 million copies to sell well.
Basically common sense, but lower budget games typically don't need to sell as well as higher budget games, right?

Last, but not least, I do realize that some games on the Wii don't sell well, Deadly Creatures is an example.

Re: Review: Samurai Shodown Anthology (Wii)

marktheshark

Does SS5 on the NA version of the anthology have the introductory quotes, cutscenes that explains what's going on, & proper endings for each character like the Japanese version has?

Also, does Samurai Shodown Anthology have any emulation issues, does it retain every fatality?

Re: Nintendo Download: Mixed Messages, Pitfalls, Magic Tricks and Pirates (US)

marktheshark

I liked that Activision has started supporting the VC, I think these are their other games that have little to no licensing issues & probably can be released.:

Vilgilante 8
Nightmare Creatures
Archon
Stealth ATF
Shanghai (Jpn-only)
Shanghai II: Dragon's Eye
Sword Master
Slaughter Sport
Galaxy 5000
Ultimate Air Combat
Mechwarrior
Biometal
X-Kaliber 2097
Radical Rex
Mechwarrior 3050
Spider-Man (Activision still has the license after all. Don't they?)

Re: The N64 and Nintendo’s Fall From Grace

marktheshark

I don't get why so many people hate the N64's 3rd party support. I understand that there isn't as much 3rd party support on the N64 as there is on the PSX. I honestly enjoyed a lot of 3rd party games back then & now to this day. You just gotta look a little deeper to find what you want though. Last, but not least, there're systems out there with worst 3rd party support than that of the N64's.

I'll pull up a list of great 3rd party N64 games if anyone's interested.

Re: The N64 and Nintendo’s Fall From Grace

marktheshark

Honestly, I had over 40 games for the N64, only 2 of them Rareware games, & I still enjoyed the N64 from christmas 1998 when I got my N64 to right now at the time of this post. I enjoyed most of those 40 games except for like, 3 or 4, but still. I liked N64 way more than the PSX. Now don't get me wrong, I do like some PSX games, but it's laughable to think that such filth, the PSX, would somehow be in my possession.
