I heard a while ago that Samurai Shodown V Special probably won't be in this. SNK doesn't seem to mention SSVS being on the anthology in their website.
NARC Total Carnage Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 L.A. Machineguns: Rage of the Machines Hydro Thunder (If the N64 version isn't released 1st) Rampage: World Tour (N64 version might come instead) CarnEvil Gauntlet: Dark Legacy San Francisco Rush Trilogy Virtua Cop Trilogy Sega Sonic the Hedgehog
I know I can get most of these games on the Midway Arcade Treasures compilations, but the emulation issues kinda annoy me.
What about Solvalou? I don't think that game was ever ported to a compilation. Same with Emeraldia, Cosmo Gang the Puzzle, Cosmo Gang the Video, Burning Force, Assualt, Cyber Sled, Rolling Thunder, Dragon Buster, Finest hour, Star Blade, etc. I don't think any of these games have been put in a compilation & they're coming to the VCA.
Final Fight Super Street Fighter II Turbo (If the 3DO version doesn't come out 1st) Street Fighter Alpha trilogy Red Earth X-Men: Children of the Atom Marvel Super Heroes Dynasty Wars Mercs Captain Commando Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
Now that Ninty shows us that the VC can emulate expansion pak games. I wonder if any 3rd party N64 games that'll come out eventually that use the expansion pak optionally will be expansion pak enhanced or will be the normal versions of the games.
L.A. Machineguns: Rage Against the Machines Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (If Midway doesn't go bankrupt) Super Sega GT House of the Dead I Street Fighter III Virtua Fighter 2 & 3 Street Fighter Alpha 1 & 3 (SNES version of 2 might be released) TMNT Dead or Alive 1 Ridge Racer Sonic the Hedgehog Arcade Gauntlet Dark Legacy
I know most of these games probably won't be on the VC anytime soon.
To be honest, I always prefer KOF '96 & KOF '97 over KOF '98 somewhat. I'm also glad that SNK Playmore USA fixed most of the glitches that the PS2 version has. Now if we could just get a KOF NESTS Collection, with KOF 2002 included. If that doesn't happen, then SNK Playmore should at least release the rest of the KOF games (from KOF '95 to KOF 2003) onto the Wii Virtual Console.
Somewhat possible, but we probably won't get it anytime soon though, but then again, Sega is on a mission to bring every last Wonderboy game to the VC in all regions.
Why would Koei release all the sequels to the VC yet not even bother with the prequels? Is Zhang Jiao & his brothers threatening to punish them if they release the prequels first?
Impressive month for Japan. I' am guessing that most of these games on the list don't have very high language barriers (except for Tactics Ogre of course). I' am hoping Tactics Ogre comes to the NA VC eventually.
Surely, you guys could've just ignored Littlemac's innapropriate comments & move on with life.
@Nintendork, 105
I won't be surprised if most of the games that were just removed from the ESRB show up on a much later date on the Wii VC & the ESRB, but we'll probably have to wait a LONG time for Uniracers. Around years at least!
Have any sources of this so called "lawsuit", and several barbed & coded lawsuits to Sega? Can you please post links to screenshots containing these "barbed & coded" insults?
Probably, there's a few other games that came out on VC (KDL3, Kirby 64, etc) before their VC version ratings were shown on the ESRB website. I think the VC games that were removed from the ESRB would still come out, but we'll have to wait a while for them & even longer for Hagane.
No. What they need to do instead first is to be less strict to the 3rd parties that support the VC, so that the chances of any more of them leaving would be reduced. Not only that, but communicate more to the regular Wii Shoppers, do like what the JPN VC is doing & put up a list of games at the end of every month that're planned to come out next month in the Wii shop channel.
I' am not sure if a developer named "Konsmi" would exist.
Seriously, I checked the ESRB site & I still see the ratings for Hagane, Aerofighters Assualt, Beetle Adventure Racing, Tinstar, & Uniracers. I wonder how many times VC Reviews would say that several VC games' ratings are gone, yet they show up again hours later.
Well, I guess these games would probably still come out eventually, but Hagane will have to wait it's turn...for now.
What's so bad about having Aerofighters on the VC? There's at least a few fans who would want this game to come out on the VC. Besides, I think it's better to have it on VC rather than not have it on there.
Sounds like a pretty good week. I think that Rondo of Blood would make its way to the VC eventually. Besides, what does Hudson have to do with releasing Rondo of Blood? Arn't they in charge of all TG-16 games coming to the VC?
I' am probably going to download this one when it comes out. None of the other games that're in FFBA Vol. 1 interest me, except for maybe Fatal Fury 3.
@Segasonic
What's so bad about Neo Geo fighting games? Are you just mad because neither majora's mask or Earthbound is in the vc yet?
@dfalco You do realize that Rare games probably won't happen for at least a few years, right? The other games on your list however, have a good to great chance of showing up eventually. I especially agree to your other wish list. I hope we get KOF'95 as well as '96, '97, '98, '99, 2000, 2001, 2002, & 2003.

Do you think you can tell me what the typical budget of a Wii Game is except for shovelware of course.
Re: Metal Slug 2
@ 33, Tornado Man
Metal Slug 3 is about the same size as Metal Slug 4 & 5

Re: USA VC Update: Summer Games II
Pretty good update. About time an another C64 game makes it's way to the NA VC.
Re: USA VC Update: Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars
@55, Starfox
Because some people actually want to play them?!
Re: Review: Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars (SMS)
@17, That guy from Faxanadu
Like that's gonna happen, there's a few people out there who would want to see High Tech World come to the VC.
Re: GoldenEye 007
Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Just how did Goldeneye got in the coming soon page?!
Re: Review: Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair (MD)
@JJ, 11
Somewhat possible, but we probably won't get it anytime soon though, but then again, Sega is on a mission to bring every last Wonderboy game to the VC in all regions.
So it could take a few years though.
Re: EU VC Update: Clu Clu Land and Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair
The trash just has be released sometime sooner or later.
Can't keep it in the backburner for too long.
Re: USA VC Update: Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen
Might get this before spring break.
How hard is Ogre Battle?
Re: Wisconsin To Tax Digital Downloads
Ah well, I'll probably change my region settings if that helps. I' am also from Illinois.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - March 2009
@41, togovero
Well, they'll probably make it so that you use the Wiispeak instead.
Of course, the Wiispeak might also open the possiblilty of Hey! You! Pikachu! coming to the VC soon.
Re: Rumour: EarthBound Not Coming to Virtual Console
@Clayfrd
Silly Clayfrd, just ignore Littlemac & move on with live.
Re: Take Five and Double It!
I would've prefered a school grade rating system format, but a 1 out of 10 system isn't that bad either.
Re: Hudson Not Abandoning Virtual Console After All?
Has the vc reviews staff send their suggestions to Hudson yet? If it hasn't happened yet, then I would like to see:
Bomberman 2 (NES)
Super Bomberman 1-5 (SNES)
Y's III (TG CD)
Y's IV (TG CD)
Bomberman 64 (N64)
Bomberman Heroes (N64)
Bomberman 64 JPN- Only version (N64)
Legendary Axe 1 & 2 (TG 16)
Ginga Fukei Densetsu: Sapphire (TG CD. Uses Arcade card)
Super Adventure Island 1 & 2 (SNES)
Hagane: The Final Conflict (SNES)
Re: USA VC Update: Wolf of the Battlefield: MERCS
I was expecting Clayfighter to come out instead, but this is still a pretty good week.
Re: Genghis Khan II: Clan of the Gray Wolf

Re: EU VC Update: ClayFighter and Sonic Chaos
@ 64, Betagam 7
Whoa, calm down. Why you getting coo coo for cocoa puffs over someone's opinion?
For the Genesis vs. SNES music. I always prefer the SNES music over Genesis music. I can't really tolerate the Genesis music.
Re: EU VC Update: ClayFighter and Sonic Chaos
Not such a bad VC update.
Re: A Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia
Is it just me, or do the backgrounds in this game look like 8-Bit photographs?
Re: USA VC Update: Sonic Chaos
@71, Cally
Why do you think Sega CD games won't hit the VC?
Re: Sonic Chaos
This is one of the Sonic MS/GG games that I enjoyed. Here's hoping we'll see more.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2009
@40, Terranigma
Perhaps tell them when their game is coming to the VC if they haven't done so already.
Re: Japanese Virtual Console list - February 2009
Impressive month for Japan. I' am guessing that most of these games on the list don't have very high language barriers (except for Tactics Ogre of course). I' am hoping Tactics Ogre comes to the NA VC eventually.
Re: OFLC Update: Two More Imports
I knew that Hudson would still support the VC.
Re: USA VC Update: Wonder Boy in Monster Land
Looks like Sega's mission to bring each & every Wonder Boy game to the VC has almost been completed.
Re: EU VC Update: Mario Golf and Wonder Boy in Monster Land
It's about time you guys get another N64 game. I' am hoping that Ninty eventually will fix the Memory & Expansion Pak problem.
@11, Wii-c-kid
Just for saying that. The chances of Eikou no St. Andrews (St. Andrews Old Course) & Waialae Country Club coming to the VC have increased by 100%!
Re: USA VC Update: MUSHA
@42, That Guy from Faxanadu
Yes! I really hope they bring in Fatal Fury Special, KOF '95, The Last Blade, & maybe even Twinkle Star Sprites!
Re: USA VC Update: MUSHA
Is it just me, or is it that Ninty is seemingly doing either a final or massive liquidation on their coming soon VC catalogue?
