It's a low-effort Ark clone that uses heavily-inspired(stolen) assets, and the only reason people play it is because they feel that by buying it they are somehow "sticking it to Nintendo" since we all know how much the PC/XB fans love to stick it to Nintendo. It hasn't sold well because the game is good (look at Starfield), it sells well because people want to try to rile up Nintendo. Also, the Palworld community is as bad or worse than even the CoD community.
Why would I want to play an inferior ARK clone that bores you within the first two hours that is only popular because they basically tried to make it look as close to someone else's game as possible trying to avoid copyright claims. The game is bad. Just because it is popular, doesn't mean it's good. (Look at Starfield.)
The game only sells so well because people think that by buying it they are somehow "sticking it to Nintendo". It's a fad, and will pass.
@nessisonett @YANDMAN Hopefully, the Rams destroy them. Joe Booger needs to learn some humility. One of the worst attitudes and people in sports. Worse than Antonio Brown.
Have had NSO since it launched, got the EXP the day it launched. Have had no issues with the cost. Sure, noticed some issues during N64 emulation, but nothing game-breaking, especially since I'm not some idiotic speed-runner. Give me the Wii version of the emulation, and that will eliminate my only complaint with the service. Happy overall.
Super Metroid is the best Metroid ever made. From what I have seen of Dread, it's trying to be Resident Evil and not Metroid. I don't play Metroid for jump scares and "terror". I play it for exploration and adventure. Metroid Dread might be the first game of the franchise I pass on.
This actually looks really interesting. In the vein of Shadowgate, but not quite so brooding or difficult. I'll probably pick this one up as an old veteran of these P&C adventures.
@Octane If they tag me, and directly attack me, I will report their comments. That is what the report feature is for, after all. What is a fact is that I never called anyone out specifically by name, they are. Hence why their comments were reported, and will continue to be any time they attack me directly.
Also, everything on this site is pretty much an opinion, not much in the way of facts being disseminated in these comments.
1) Super Metroid 2) Zero Mission 3) Metroid-NES 4) Fusion 5) Samus Returns 6) Other M 7) Metroid 2 8) Prime 9) Prime 3 10) Prime 2 11) Federation Force 12) Prime Pinball 13) Prime Hunters
@Abes3 I didn't "love" it, but I don't think it was as bad as many people do. I wasn't a fan of the Ninja Gaiden-ish mechanics in the fighting, and the story seemed a bit forced. But, it wasn't a terrible game.
@GravyThief I think the biggest hate for Fusion (and I don't dislike the game just this aspect of it) is that it is FAR to linear. There isn't much to explore, you're told what to get, where to get it, and when you can use it. Not a lot of freedom. I think that is the main concern people have with Fusion. The story is interesting, and the atmosphere of the game is top notch.
@Medic_alert You are really spot-on. They really need to get some old-school gamers on staff instead of just millennials that don't understand the glory days of gaming.
@GraveLordXD https://alttsm.speedga.me/ That is the link to the crossover maker. You have to supply your own games, but it's really interesting. Items are all mixed between the two worlds and everything.
@GrailUK Halo is a FPS too. Any game that is 3D and that you are in First Person shooting stuff (be it players or mobs), whether it has adventure elements or not, is a FPS. And thus, is an inferior game.
Also, I never called anyone stupid. Simply stated their intelligence wasn't as great as those that prefer the 2D games.
@GraveLordXD Have you seen the Super Metroid/A Link to the Past crossover maker? Playing that now, it's really quite interesting. Combining two of the best games of all time.
@Stocksy Not intelligent based off of my opinion, but the opinion is based off of intelligence.
Meaning that those that are more intelligent share my opinion.
Also, I never said Prime was a bad game. Just said it wasn't as good as the 2D games. And it wasn't. Those that agree with me have the intelligence to see that. Those that disagree do not. Simple logic.
@GraveLordXD Not a bad list at all. You put Super Metroid in the proper place, although I wouldn't agree that it is the best game ever made. I'd give that honor to the original Legend of Zelda. But, I would agree with that.
As far as the profile pic... I think it was from deviantart. I downloaded it years ago.
@LUIGITORNADO Yep! Like many older, more intelligent gamers prefer the awesomeness that is Super Metroid and 2D Metroidvanias, and the younger, more twitchy-type of gamers tend to prefer the 3D FPS type of games.
@Tempestryke While OoT is overrated (as most 3D games are), it isn't a bad game. Zelda 2 was (as was Majora's Mask.) When even the designer of the game thinks he should have done things differently, it is a bad game.
@riChchestM A few here or there is fine, but to me... Zelda is a top-down adventure game. Not some side-scrolling hack-n-slash. Even Miyamoto didn't like Zelda 2. It and Majora's Mask were the two worst games (outside of the CDi) of the franchise, IMO. Though for different reasons. (And yes, I beat both.)
@Yorumi If the cheap 3rd party manufacturers had gone through the proper licensing process, they would have been given the proper specs for the "USB-C" port, and this wouldn't have even been an issue. So, yes I am calling them (and you apparently) out because they fault lies with the dock makers, not with Nintendo. They can (and should) do whatever they have to so they can ensure that companies that don't follow licensing procedures aren't making profit off of their hard work.
Simple. Don't buy products from a company too cheap to go through the proper licensing and testing procedures. This is 100% on the cheap 3rd party manufacturers and on the cheap consumers. Not on Nintendo.
Meh. Chrono Trigger is highly overrated as it is (like Earthbound), so I wouldn't buy the port regardless. Give me the FF games (and the Lunar games) over Chrono Trigger any day.
Nothing for Nintendo to learn here. The only people salty about it are the people that didn't get one. I got one on the Wed before Thanksgiving here in the U.S. (and it's awesome.) Too bad for those that didn't. It was a limited edition thing.
@Equinox Because, the PS4 & XB1 are simply PCs with controllers. Nothing unique about either one. Nintendo always goes for uniqueness, and not power. Something I love about them.

One of the two worst games in the franchise. Beat it back in the 80s just so I could say I did, and haven't been back since. Terrible game.

Sorry... 2D > 3D. Super Metroid > Metroid Prime. A 2D Adventure game is better than a 3D FPS hands down, no contest.
Re: The Man Behind The Wonder Boy: Dragon's Trap Remake Would Love To Tackle Zelda II
@GeminiSaint Nah. MM is a weak game because of one thing.
Music: Good.
Dungeons: Good. (Though could have been more)
Overworld: Too small, but not bad.
Items: Interesting
Transformation mechanic: Awesome.
Ticking clock/72-Hour limit: Destroys sense of adventure and kills the game.
It's really that simple.

@gaga64 Too much side-scrolling. If I want to play Zelda, I want a top-down adventure game, not a side-scrolling hack-n-slash game like Z2.
