@Moroboshi876 Oh, I'm playing this sucker forever; I'm not getting it just for online play. I just feel the best chance to play this thing co-op without having to gather people for couch co-op is to get online while it's new. But you're right, I'm not sure there will be enough people playing online to begin with.
@Moroboshi876 I thought about that, but my worry is that hardly anyone will be online playing if I wait for later to pick it up. Heck, maybe no one will be playing online when it's new!
Will they substitute the twisty joystick with twin stick controls? Ikari Warriors was the first N-E-S cart i picked up alongside the Control Deck. Man, what a disappointment it was compared to the arcade version, but still sunk hours into it. ABBA'ed all the way to the end, hoping your hours-long playing session didn't end because you got stuck behind a rock or pipe after continuing! SNK redeemed themselves on the home front with Guerillla War, and I'm stoked that's coming as well!
@Leu10antFalcon I would love to see them give this the Bomberman R treatment with free periodic additions, although I'd be willing to pay a few extra dollars.
@JasonLee99 After you tap a day and it shows you total time played with each game's icon, tap that again and it'll break down each game. Just swipe left for each game.
They need to be making retro style shooters like this and Axelay, among others. As much as I can appreciate stuff like Geometry Wars and that Hyper Sentinel game, they really aren't what I'm looking for. Anyway, this game is brutal. Much like a bunch of people stated already, I gave up using only 1 credit and started spamming the coin button. I've been doing interrupt saves to take the game in bite sizes, though.
@sillygostly well going by "improved lag, it's the same as I experienced before the patch. Maybe it's that the controls just aren't as tight as the old games, which is why I still have that slight delay on" players with good connections". I'll try out the offline play later to see if there's an improvement there.
@sillygostly I didn't test local play, but online I still have about a 1 second delay on "players with good connections" and totally unplayable on the worldwide option (I quickly press a direction once and still go the length of the board).
Anyone confirm that the Pro Controller is not compatible with this? At least the joycons aren't as bad as the sideways remote on Blaster Master Overdrive...
And yes, still about his frog, but more his rare specimen than a pet.
@Priceless_Spork I agree to some extent. But I think Blaster Master has suffered the same fate as Star Fox. Every time it's been remade they do something to screw it up. The Wiiware game a few years back suffered from garbage controls; limited to a sideways Wii remote! Don't even bring up the Genesis and Playstation versions. I don't think I finished Enemy Below either.
Got the cart. I believe it was released at the same time as Contra 3, give or take a bit. The weapons system was weird until I started thinking of the game as Gradius on foot! The slowdown killed it for me, though. It would actually be a fun VC release on Switch's paid online - - with slowdown removed!

Yet another version of OutRun to buy. Day one. It would be nice to have a remastered Out Run 2. Better yet, a brand new entry!

How about a reimagined Deja Vu and that mansion one I can't think of at the moment.
Re: Virtua Racing Joins The Sega AGES Line On Nintendo Switch
@BlueOcean M2 needs to branch out to Nintendo games and give the Ages treatment to Stunt Race FX and Star Fox. 60FPS and full screen mode!

@Bunkerneath Isn't Golden Axe a Sega game? Easily the best announcement on the Direct!
