The fact that we get Mario Kart and Wii Fit before the USA SHOULD please people. I'm merely mocking at the generic Internet go-er who simply cannot wait for games.

Of course I want Smash Bros. but if I have to wait there's nothing that I as a single entity can do to speed up the process. Nintendo know what they're doing.

I was thinking Animal Crossing too - but I read somewhere that Iwata (I think it was) didn't want to do any MMO titles.

Robwho2 - I was waiting for someone to pick up on that and make a comment. I wouldn't neccessarily say guitar is easier than (real) DJing but nor would I say (real) DJing is easier than guitar.

Proper scratching and decent mixing takes a helluva lot of skill and practice. From what I understand DJing is all about reacting to the crowd, being spontaneous and making things drop just at the precise beat.

Guitar is far from easy - but so are a helluva lot of other elements of music besides the "norm".

I don't get why people weren't that impressed with DD. It wasn't the best Mario Kart of the series but it handled well and was pretty good fun?

Incidentally the DS version is my favourite. I still play that.

Hopefully this shows Nintendo that while their casual titles are doing brilliantly well - they can also stick to their guns and keep making the games the real players love aswell.

I think Nintendo have the balance just right at the moment.

Yeah this article was very much tongue in cheek. I don't think the console race is over - but I also don't think anything's going to stop the Wii now. If it slows down over the next couple of months Wii Fit is only going to increase interest.

The way I see it Microsoft's "war" is with Sony - and I can't see them winning that one either.

On saying that though - XBOX Live is the best thing ever invented ever.

Ant - yeah Wii is lagging miles behind XBOX Live, but for a free service it's nice to see games starting to incorporate some online multiplayer.

I don't see why they can't create a new channel that allows you to see all the players in the world and stuff and add them as friends. A kinda "Friends List" channel?
