I like Treehouse as something I can tune into at different times during the day when work allows and get deep looks into upcoming games, but it I really missed the Nintendo Direct this year as a way to concisely get all the major announcements in one place. I feel like I missed all kinds of stuff I would have been interested in because I couldn't sit down and watch the stream all day.
I've always wanted to try out Zack and Wiki, but I do wish that the US would get more Wii games that don't require the Wii Remote. I was very excited to when they announced being able to play Wii games on the GamePad, but in practice very few of those titles have actually come out here. I was never crazy on the Wii Remote to begin with, so I've never been eager to go back to those days.
Not really surprising. Nintendo hasn't done as much to foster developer goodwill as Sony and Microsoft. Over time that shifts perceptions. Doesn't help when the each eShop update is full of tons of shovelware. Nintendo does an OK job calling out the bigger third party and indie releases in the eShop, but you do get the impression that a lot of stuff gets lost.
Not to mention the usual developer disinterest that impending console releases causes. I'm sure if you did this survey in the years when people were hyped over the Ultra 64, but few had seen it, most developers would have said they were more interested in developing for the PlayStation or Saturn instead of the Super Nintendo.
It'd be cool if this could associate your eShop purchases with an account, rather than a specific console. I'm terrified of my Wii U dying someday and losing everything I've bought.
I'd really like the 3DS to have Super GameBoy themes and palettes for games that supported it and GameBoy Color color options for everything else. I'd really like them to release the GBA titles that were available to Ambassadors four years ago, as well as others. It wouldn't hurt to have DS games in the eShop as well. I think GBA and DS games are a pretty poor fit for the Wii U.
DS games on the Wii U needs a mode that simply displays the top and bottom screen as large as possible without the DS picture taking up room. I think the Wii U's VC is healthy overall, though it couldn't hurt to have more titles. I also miss a lot of the stuff that the Wii VC had, like arcade titles, TurboGrafx, and the Sega consoles. Alternatively, they could make the whole Wii Mode work a little better (like using the GamePad as a Classic Controller) so that I could enjoy my old purchases with some of the Wii U benefits.
I'm buying some Amiibo to put on my desk, but the Smash interaction sounds pretty boring. Hopefully future games can do things that are more interesting.

Re: Site News: We Want Your Help To Become Even Better
Number one thing I want: a link in your reviews and game pages so I can easily get to the Nintendo eShop game page for my region.
Re: Hardware Review: GameCube HDMI Adapter - GC Video Plug 'n Play 3.0
Don't buy this. Wait for one from a seller with a good reputation.
Re: Poll: What Did You Think of the Pokémon Direct and Its Big Reveals?
It's exactly what I expected, which is disappointing.
Re: Poll: What Other 'Classic Edition' Nintendo Systems Do You Want to be Released?
A pre-backlit Game Boy with Game Boy Camera built in.

Re: Poll: The Wii U GamePad - Where Do You Stand on Nintendo's Hefty Controller?
I've liked it in a few games, but overall I think it has a habit of leading to creative dead-ends. It's sort of the exact opposite of the Wii Remote.
Re: Soapbox: No, Star Fox Zero's Controls Are not Bad or Broken
I couldn't get into Splatoon's motion controls, so unfortunately this video was more alarming than calming.

Re: Oculus Founder Palmer Luckey Believes Virtual Boy "Hurt" the VR Industry, But It's Not All Bad
@Moon Exactly what my first thought was. VR at the time was gigantic tech demos you could try out in casinos or at high-end malls.
Re: Shigesato Itoi on the Mother Series' Popularity, Denies Mother 4
I'd love to have Mother 3 out here on 3DS.

Re: Nintendo Has "Moved On" From Game Boy Games on the 3DS Virtual Console
That's a real shame. It'd be nice to have some new Virtual Console games, especially in the gaps between Nintendo releases.
Re: Nintendo Download: 21st May (North America)
Definitely getting the Swapnote theme.

Re: Famitsu Unleashes Xenoblade Chronicles X Score
Just like with Western reviews, Famitsu numbers are pretty meaningless without being able to read the text of the review.
Re: Video: This Is The 3D Sonic Game We All Truly Want, But May Never Have
That camera would really annoy me if this were an actual game.
Re: Nintendo Download: 23rd October (North America)
I'm going to be buying Fantasy Life, both Bayonettas, and maybe Shantae. Good day.

Re: Nintendo Download: 28th August (North America)
Monster Hunter and Gunvolt for sure. Also the Mario Kart DLC.
Re: Nintendo Download: 24th July (North America)
Rough week.
Re: Nintendo Download: 7th November (North America)
Are you sure about those dates for Etrian Odyssey IV? The price is already 29.99 for me.
