I've been thinking about getting this for a while even though I have it on other platforms. The 3d effect maybe worth the price considering Marvel and their orignal Zen pinball game were pretty impressive.

I already have the orignal Bird Mania game so do I really need the Xmas version too?

I'll probably get the pinball game when I get another e-shop card.

@27 Yes. Unfortunately it doesn't seem possible for Ninty to release one amazing downloadable game every week. To expect that would just be wishful thinking.

I'd only be guessing, but i think it was because the developers found out how underpowered the 3ds was and couldn't make the game that was expected. Same with Saints Row 3ds. Im guessing we will never see a third person view GTA game on the 3ds for the same reason. I seriously hope to be proven wrong though.

Im guessing one could check the available memory before and after the update and figure out the difference. If Nintendo is still using "blocks" as the term for on board memory then 6.4 blocks equal 1mb. At least that's how its done on for the Dsi/3ds.

@leftoverlunch My tablet is able to download major OS updates in the background while still having access to everything. Maybe the Wii U will be able to do the same given this is a next gen console.

Meh, I truly excited to be able to download Marios next adventure to my system, but think i'll have to pass on that now. Just not enough pros to having a digital copy vs hard copy of this game. 50 extra coins isn't a deciding factor when i could get roughly 1000 reward points plus an preorder gift if i buy and trade NSMB2 at Gamestop. Maybe next time Ninty.

Anyway, im really enjoying this game so far. Since I really don't play games like this to often its a good change of pace. Online plus chat had me sold on this when it was first announced. This game is definitely a huge step in the right direction for the 3ds.
