Nintendo have finally copped on! Demo's sell Games

If Nintendo's next machine isn't at least as Powerful as the PS3 I for one won't be getting one. And for me that is something since I have purchased all of Nintendo's home consoles in the past, I even got the N64 and Wii on release day (anyone remember how scarce N64's were? I queued all night).

Nintendo are getting Women and Girls which is great. I see Girls in Game shops talking about the Wii and DS which is cute. As a Hardcore gamer and Nintendo fan I do feel a little let down, but that is progress. Can't blame Nintendo for wanting to make money.

Nothing surprises me with Nintendo any more.

Ah well at least I don't have to bother turning my Wii this week

I have 1800 points on my Wii and I'm keeping that for Super mario kart and Excitebike. I'm never putting another point on my Wii after that. (maybe if Stunt Race FX came up I might) but that's it because all Nintendo are trying to do is sell us crap. I'm really annoyed with Nintendo. I'm soon to be an ex fan and that makes me sad.

@Tony, I presume your on about Virtua Racing on the Mega Drive? All I have to say about that is. "You what? Virtua Racing is not a patch on this Game Graphically or Playability wise".
I spent more hours playing this game trying to better my time in Time trial or free mode than I care to remember. The driving mechanics are excellent. I love this Game. And Tony I also played Virtua Racing on Mega Drive so I do know what I'm talking about.

One word "Disappointment"
Think I'll sell my Wii and buy a stick, might have more fun with that.

I have a PS3 and a Wii. The PS3 is one helluva console where the Wii has games made by Nintendo (my favourite developer). The quality of games on PS3 is ultra high far higher than PS2. I play the PS3 more than the Wii and I do think Nintendo need to try a little harder to please the core Gamer. As much as I hate to say it Sony are doing a far better job than Nintendo at the moment.

Good review but I'd have gave it a 10. This game is incredible fun, it is my favourite game of all time. I have played most AAA titles on every platform over the last 20 years and I put this in the top spot. Its Perfection Personified.

Tell ya I'm getting the feeling we'll be lucky if we see this in December in Europe. Why can't Nintendo give a release date? I really want this game.

Nintendo said future Consoles, they didn't say Wii. Wii games aren't made in HD. I suppose it would be like upscaling them but its not going to happen.

Here's an idea, Don't buy Cod Modern Warfare on Wii its crap. Lazy developers they won't make one for Wii but they'll do a lazy shoddy port. So we'll get the PS3 and 360's sloppy seconds. The Wii has plenty of power to do a Good FPS.

If this has online I might it on Wii. But I will be getting the PS3 version next year without a shadow of a doubt as I am a big F1 fan

I love the PS3 and the Wii. Sony have made one helluva machine. Nintendo on the other hand are the only Company capable of taking the games industry forward and this guy knows that. Sony would love to be as good as Nintendo

My Wii was bought on release day 6 December 2006 I've never had anything illegal on it. I updated yesterday and have had absolutely no Problems

It really is a pity this Game may never come to the VC. I taught it was just between Microsoft and Nintendo to sort it out? But Activision is in the mix. OMG I actually hate Activision ever since I read what there Ceo Bobby Kotick said 2 weeks ago in a speech in LA or somewhere and I have Vowed to never buy a Game that has anything to do with Activision. Loved Super Probotector on the SNES and I love this.

Never had a problem with a Nintendo console except my Wii wouldn't read SSBB which Nintendo fixed for free. I'm still on my first PS3 (touch wood) One of my PSN friends is on his 3rd PS3 but this guy lives on his PS3. I never in my life heard of a Console going up in price. This is ridiculous. I live in Ireland and argos are selling the Wii for 249 euro which is a rip of, Xtra vision nearly on the same street are selling it for 199 euro. This will have a knock on effect in Ireland. Nintendo need to intervene

Automatic download. Would have preferred super mario kart. Snes Pilotwings is a great game I had it back in the day. I also still have the N64 version gathering dust somewhere in the attic. So for my Opinion Snes version is better. Pilotwings64 better graphics. Snes Pilotwings Better Gameplay. This game is Hardcore

He hasn't got a clue about gaming. He has a PS3 and a 360? that's 2 consoles that are basically the same! Bit dumb that! I have a PS3 and a Wii so I have the best of all worlds. Any gamer who doesn't open his mind to Wii is missing out big time.

@Hawker; I agree. I don't think MS know what there doing because they have being targeting the so called "Hardcore" gamer when this is much more aimed at the casual gamer.

And if you had a 360 which you have, you would have no choice but play 3rd party games because MS couldn't make a good game in a fit. Just look at rare, Since MS bought Rare they haven't made one good game because they haven't got Nintendo's expertise. Answer that!

Personally I can't believe the hype. You'd think MS had just invented Gaming. All I can say is lets wait and see if they can create software to utilise it. The Wii has something the 360 will never have and that is Games made by Nintendo. Re; theberrage, go and play with your third party games on your 360 like a good little boy. I sold my 360 before it blew up and bought a PS3 a far superior Console

I've played both n64 and snes versions of this game and I can tell you the snes version is the best and hardest.

When I heard about the VC for the first time all those years ago, the first game I taught about was super mario kart. Now 3 years later its still not released. I had given up hope but now it looks like we might get it soon.
Nintendo Please release this game in europe and america sooner rather than later.

This Game should have got a 9 at least. I also don't understand why you think non pick up and play controls is a negative? Cause I would call that a Positive. This Game is hardcore I suppose, you need to practice to get good. When I got this Game back in the day I wouldn't have been very happy if I could beat it from the of. I've had hours of enjoyment from this Game. Pure Quality.
