The Switch eShop, with various success stories to its name, is attracting a host of multi-platform Indie releases. Another to join the list is Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, a clever puzzle platformer in which a coloured 'magic marker' allows for various abilities.
Check out a trailer below.
This originally came out in 2014, developed by Press Play and published by Microsoft Game Studios; they're different teams turning around the latest console releases, with an arrival on PS4 just a couple of weeks ago. The North American Switch eShop is listing it for a release on 21st December priced at $14.99.
Is this going on your wishlist?

Seems interesting but also looks very easy. Touch controls would have been a neat... touch... if they aren't included.
When I saw Max, for some reason I got reminded of this "Mighty" guy:

Touchscreen would be cool but, I also hope for solid motion-controls. To use them on the TV with some good precise mechanics would be magical.
So it’s a sequel to max and the magic marker? Looks ok. I might grab it on sale.
@crackafreeze It does have touch screen controls in handheld mode.
I played a bit of this on Xbox when it was released on Games for Gold (for free)
I wasn’t impressed but I’m glad for those who want it. Maybe in three to four years MS will decide to release Cuphead on other platforms.
First I've heard of this on any platform. I was a really big fan of Max and Magic Marker on Wii, one of the best uses of the pointer I thought, and this look seven better. I'll probably get this one at some point, likely on PS+, but w/ all the money I've blown on games over the past couple of weeks it might be a very long while. My backlog may have reached the point of no return.
I got a Labyrinth vibe from the beginning sequence.
I love all the Max games!
@ThatGuyJangle I came to the comments to see if you'd be there. Didn't disappoint 😜 Best of luck with the release!
Oh yeah, the sequel to that fun (but super glitchy) Wiiware title!
